Very cute atmosphere and decent burgers, but the insistence of the owner (according to an employee and a sign posted in the store) that all burgers will be served with onions is a bit unfortunate...everyone in the joint had watering eyes as the cook made our burgers. Moreover, I asked if we had allergies if the onions could be left off and was told no - the owner would tell us to take our business elsewhere...exactly what we intend to do now that the novelty of a tiny diner is over.

I've had Cozy from the Salina location, and was very excited to hear that they were building one in Manhattan. The new Cozy Inn in Aggieville is a great place to grab some mini-burgers, comparable to the same style of White Castle. Except one thing.... They use actual beef, and not questionable processed meat you find in a WC burger. Outside of the place is a bright white exterior with the same style neon red and white sign that you'll find at the Salina location. There are huge windows up front which displays the cooks making many mini burgers for the hungry masses. On the left side of the building is a walk up window. So if you are on the go or want to snack on them outside, you can do so. Inside of the place is bright and colorful. The white walls makes the pictures and the wooden cabinets contrast each other. The one table is covered with Cozy Inn related news article cut outs. One news article from Martha Stewart, and a few local ones that makes it interesting to read while downing your burgers. There are a couple wobbly wooden stools to sit on, while you wait on your order. The place is very well done and stays with the theme of the older location, with a modern look. Now the menu is very simple, you can order in half a dozen or individual burgers at .89 cents. The 6 Cozy's are about 5 dollars and are thrown in a bag. You literally get a bag of burgers. They do not come individually wrapped. The largest amount you can order is 24, which I have ordered before. That comes out to 20 some bux for all of them. They do offer a value meal where you can get 6 burgers, bag of chips and a drink for about 5.80, or 4 burgers for about 5.15 with chips and a drink, or a kids meal with 3 I believe. The burgers are topped with sauteed onions and a pickle. If you want them with ketchup and mustard, you'll have to add that yourself. Generally they are good without them, so it isn't necessary. While the appearance of the burger may not look great, they make it up by taste. FYI - after eating there you will smell like onions. It's been a couple of days and my jacket still smells like cozy's. I wouldn't recommend leaving them in a car all day unless you want the smell. Overall they make an affordable product matched with great service. If you happen to do a lot of drinking on the weekend, expect them to be opened till 3am.

The burgers are not as good as the original Cozy Inn in Salina, but the homemade chips are amazing. Don't eat here for lunch on a work day. You will smell like onions all day.

I have a dirty, disgusting love for White Castle. This is because I live in Arizona and never get to eat it (stop judging me, Indiana). When this shameful factoid was discovered on a recent trip to Manhattan ... I was led here ... at 2 am ... after a night of drinking in Aggieville. Despite the fact that I was INCREDIBLY let down by there being no cheese option, they hit the spot. BUT, Cozy Inn, you will never be White Castle without my precious American cheese. Never. Never.

Cheap. Delicious. Satisfyingly perfect! The sliders here are fantastic. Coupled with fast service, this place is a gem!

Kansas' substitute for White Castle. The original is in Salina, KS and they are REALLY good but the new one in Aggieville in Manhattan, KS is sub par in my opinion. They still haven't figured out how to salt things though. They sort of taste like sliders but no one there seems to have gotten the hang of how much salt to use. First time we ordered from there I literally had to wipe the salt off of the home-made chips, disgustingly salty. The second time we ordered from there the burgers were disgustingly salty. Hopefully as they progress they will get people in there that know how to season. I will go back and keep trying though.
