Starbucks is corporate coffee and I always know what I'm going to get when I go to Starbucks or go through a Starbucks drive through. When I choose to go to Starbucks it is because I'm craving consistency. Although Oscar Wilde said that consistency is the last refuge of the unimaginative, sometimes, especially when it comes to coffee, I want something that is palatable and is going to taste like it is suppose to taste. I also know what kind of caffeine kick I'm going to get when I drink a Starbucks coffee beverage. So there are good things about consistency too! As drive-thus go, this is one of the best, I've experienced. It's clean, it moves quickly and the window server/barista is always friendly but does not make insulting comments or ask inappropriate questions. (see my review of another Starbucks in this market) This particular Starbucks is on my usual driving route and I get better coffee here than at Latte Land down the road. Today the drive through was particularly busy and when I got to the window to pay for my latte and the barista handed it to me, and said it was on the house because of my wait. I did not think my wait was particularly long and if Starbucks has a policy on wait time, this is a good thing. I must say that it made my afternoon to receive my Venti latte for free and I will definitely be doing business at this Starbucks in the future because they have the customer service thing so well organized.
