Ok, so we are cruising around ranchmart trying to find a place top eat that doesn't serve absolute junk, yet has decently fast service. We come by Sarpino's Italian, which smelled awfully good inside, and looked like the wait wouldn't be too long (considering most pizza places who also deliver aren't). We were the third in line, and our order consisted of two of their Italian calzones, a salad, and a bottle of water. Ordering wasn't the issue. The man was very nice and asked everything you would expect (although the fact that they claimed to not have any water but bottled water was kind of frustrating). Next was the highlight (in a bad way) of my time at Sarpino's. We sat down at a table around 1:30 and waited roughly twenty minutes until a very confused lady came to our table and asked us what we ordered. We told her and she said oh, than promptly walked away. We proceeded to wait another twenty minutes when I walked up to the counter and asked the person who seemed to be cooking things what the deal was. He said that they burnt the first round of bacon for the salad and were making a new one. So I sat back down and waited 10 more minutes until the guy gave us the food. Now I have to say, Sarpino's makes a killer calzone. But too wait fifty minutes AFTER ordering is absurd for the quantity and quality of food we revived. I really wanted to enjoy eating there, but I was let down immensely by, well, this stuff ^^^^^ Have a good day, folks.

Very good for pizza delivery! I can't say that they were fast but the delivery charge was free & the prices were right! My boyfriend and I ordered from here last week. We both got personal pizzas with at least 4 toppings each. We ordered online which offered a buy one get one 50% off deal! The delivery took about 60 minutes and the pizza was hot! This is our new go to pizza delivery spot! Better than any national chain. I would definitely recommend ordering online though if you're going to eat here, it makes everything so much easier!

George, George, George! This cat takes my order, tells me my total, and asks me how I'll be paying. I say, "cash.". As he starts to speak, I interrupt and ask, "Will you take 40 rolls of pennies?". Without a moment's hesitation, George answers, "Yeah, I can do that for you.". It was a joke on my part. I expected a clumsy and delayed response. Instead, it was the immediate and correct response. You can't teach this in training. This is something that is built in from superior DNA. It was a wave of immediate common sense. 5-stars all the way. Can you smell that? That's George. He's the shit!

They use spaghetti noodles for the chicken alfredo and its disgusting and overpriced. Their "cheesy breadsticks" are just normal breadsticks. Save your money and order from somewhere else.

Gotta say... everything I've ever eaten here was fantastic! Seriously. I think its the best pizza I've ever had, and I've eaten it all over the US and in Italy! Earlier this week, I had a sandwich and salad... yum! Highly recommended and everyone at this location has a great attitude. Can't say that for the one in Shawnee!

The pizza ingredients and quality are usually well-above the competition. The place boasts fast service and delivery, and I've only seen the opposite. Minimum 1hr delivery time. I used to be a regular until the last time I tried to place an order and before I could even get my order out they said it was a min 90min out delivery time. Well the pizza can't stay hot for 90 min, that's half a football game. So I'll go with a closer, less-expensive competitor who can bring me hot pizza.

Another successful order! Everything was perfect! The Super Taco pizza and the Roma were both fantastic. The new owner has really improved the quality of the product! I will definitely keep ordering from this location in the future.

I have ordered sarpinos many times because it's one of the few places that delivers for free to my work as I cannot leave during the day. You get 1 star because at least 3 times I have ordered wings, specified WELL DONE and I keep getting them RAW! I even said on my last order this week to please stop sending me raw wings- it's disgusting and I only have access to a microwave! Also, I can make a better salad at my house and not forget to put croutons on my Caesar... seriously that's like 1 of the 3 components of that salad. I have tried many of the pizzas and no, just no. Especially the nacho one. You can stop sending me your mailers telling me you miss me because I'm done.

Wish there were more stars to provide ... This establishment definitely qualifies for an A++ rating. Easy ordering online, fast and quick delivery! They by far beat the estimated speed that was provided to me in the text message I received. Delivery driver was extremely courteous! Oh and the best part ... The pizza was absolutely scrumptious abc cooked to perfection! Don't waste your time with the other pizza shops in the area, especially the chain stores. This one has it all! And it's GREAT!

I received a message from the GM about the yelp review and was offered a credit to be put under my phone number. I ordered for delivery and there was no credit to be found under my number. On a second later order I was able to have the offered credit applied to my order. Thanks but no thanks. If you fail on customer service and then the GM fails trying to correct it you know nothing good is going to happen. Yep thanks but I'll take my hour + delivery time somewhere else. Done with this location. And no response or offer is needed.

Love this pizza! I find it convenient to pick-up and so only had it delivered once in snowy cold weather, and another time to my workplace, and it came warm and good I always order from Create Your Own pizza, so I get just what I like. Sometimes I add a delicious Greek salad. (Ok, this most recent time, it was not as good as usual, regarding bland bread dough, but all the other times it has been positively addictive. Many know who I am when I come in--scary! Ordering it online is the best, as you get a 15% discount. Nice!

We ordered from this place for the first time tonight. It arrived in about 45 minutes which was to be expected. We got the Cheese Bonanza. The pizza was really good. I was really happy about it until I noticed hair on the two pieces I ate. One of the hairs was really long and baked into the crust. I pulled it out and immediately stopped eating. It was good until that unfortunate event.

I have ordered twice now form the leawood location. The estimated time of delivery was between 45-60min. they showed up in 44min., which is great because i was starving. The pizza its self if delicious, the toppings don't over whelm and the crust is perfect for now and wont seem burnt after re-heating. The only down side is the price. It is a little expensive but there is no minimum charge or extra charge for delivery, which makes it convenient ordering for one.

I'm always looking for an alternative to my husband's desire to order papa john's when we want take out pizza. Sarpino's moved into my neighborhood not that long ago so I thought we'd try them out. First the good: I liked the pizza. Lots of cheese and a very flavorful blend. It did tend to pull right off the pizza and my little one's had some trouble because of that, but they both ate it up. I thought the sauce was tasty without being too spicy or tomato pasty. I liked the fact they put some extra sauce in the boxes because I could have used some more on the pizza personally. I called at 5p stating I wanted to pick the pizzas up at 5:45 and they were ready and hot on time - a definite plus. We got the cheese (see above) $11 large and the margarita (which is a gourmet pizza and therefore $21). The amount of basil and tomatoes on the margarita were excellently done and you could just taste the flavor and the tomatoes were still a little firm, which was nice. Overall I really enjoyed this pizza. And they are open from 10am-2am. Now the bad: $21 for a large pizza? Are you kidding? It wasn't that much more special than a pepperoni except for a few more ingredients. Also the cheese didn't stretch at all, it was a little too solid for me. I'm very sad because I think that I might have been able to break my hubby's papa john's habit - but not for that price.

I was a big fan of their pizza for a while. They have unusual ingredients and generally have a good-quality product... but not for the price (which is UNREAL), and my husband and I have found that their pizza is the saltiest either of us have ever had. Their service is "meh" as well. They frequently take longer than their estimated time to deliver (which is already fairly long), and once we placed a carry-out order that they forgot to make. We got there--no apologies, no discount. Perhaps the Leawood location is better. I just don't really see the appeal when they are not that much better (especially for the price!) than Domino's or Papa John's.

Be very careful if you try this place out. Be sure to compare your receipt with the prices listed on the menu board to make sure you're actually paying what you should be paying. I was blatantly overcharged for a meal. And as I was talking with the manager to just get a refund, one of the cooks behind the counter started yelling at me. Rip off and unprofessional. Pizza is not very good either.

It amazes me how people nitpick with their reviews. We've had their pizza several times, and it's fantastic. It's much better than the Papa John's down the street. Much better. Ingredients are fresh and plentiful. Very friendly staff, and we've also used delivery, which has been very timely and efficient. Highly recommend, plus they have excellent hours.

We were looking for an alternative but we will not be returning. The pizza tasted just okay - nothing too exciting. The delivery took forever (on a Tuesday night) when their location is 8 blocks away from our house. The delivery driver was a mess. He spent 10 minutes in our drive way looking for something in his car. Then he provided us an incorrect receipt (someone else's credit card receipt) so he had to come back and ring our doorbell again. Overall, not a good experience.
