Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

I tried the egg drop soup, the Sa Cha Chicken and the fried rice. I thought the flavor of all 3 items was mediocre. It did not taste authentic to me. The fried rice was dark brown like it had been soaked in a dark broth. No egg, scallion. The egg drop soup was also mediocre. No condiments on the table (eg, Chinese hot mustard, sweet and sour sauce). Food was hot and Sa Cha sauce was pretty good.

The cook must have had bad day cause my food was horrible. Combination low main was overcooked, very salty,; kung pao chicken had so much batter i could barely taste the chicken .i ordered also chicken noodle soup and it was yellow and tasteless . Waste of money.

above average American style Chinese food. I am especially impressed with the good quality chicken meat - you know how some places give you less-than-prime cuts of the bird? Not here; chicken dishes were outstanding. Pot stickers and pork egg rolls were just okay. Prices are almost suspiciously low, especially for the appetizers. Edge of suburbia environment across from empty fields and new construction is kind of wild too (reminds me of the early Matt Dillon film, Over the Edge), but I guess it goes with the area. Thumbs up!

One of my favorite Chinese places. Their food is delicious and super fresh. Reasonable prices and large servings. Definitely recommend!

Do not go here to eat in the restaurant unless you want dirty tables, employees that do not recognize you when you arrive and employees who have a frown on their face. Walked out before I tried the food. Maybe this place is better for carry out. I was not going to let this place ruin my day. 10/22/15

Best place to get carry out Chinese food in Leawood. I have been coming here for more then three years now. Always my first choice. I usually get the Hunan shrimp and chicken. Also, egg drop soup and crab rangoon. Never disappoints.

Four star rating based on the fact that I'm rating quick reasonably priced takeout Chinese. I've never seen anyone actually eating in the restaurant, although they do have a number of tables. Food is solid, shrimp egg roll was good, soups have been good and very inexpensive. Last thing I had was Chicken Lo Mein, good flavorful dish. If you live close or passing by, its a solid takeout chinese option.

This is your typical American Chinese restaurant. However, they cook everything FRESH, so you'll have to wait a little longer, but it is worth the wait. Prices are reasonable and owners are quite friendly. This will be my go to place for American Chinese when I'm in a pinch or have a craving. Crab Rangoon are the best in the area. You will be satisfied. I also love their General's Chicken. Crispy and their sauce is spot on.

This was a last minute decision after getting off from work. I stopped here and purchased the quart size house lo mein and an order of fried dumplings. It was very good and the portion was plentiful for my daughter and I. I told the lady to spice it up and I wasn't disappointed.

Clean place, fresh veggies and great sauce. Excellent for take out! Comfortable seating if you want to dine in.

The food here is pretty good. I recommend the Szechuan Triple Crown. Ask for it extra spicy!

Excellent food; great service; nice atmosphere; extensive menu; low prices; good-sized portions -- what's not to like? Why aren't all restaurants like this?
