Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

I have been a fan of Jose Peppers for a while now which has me visiting sometimes 3 times a week. In the many visits I have browsed the menu enough times to have most of it memorized yet I always order the same two things, until last night. Last night our server, who's name I believe was justin (I am terrible with names. Tall with brown hair and an awesome beard) described a meal to me with such descriptive words and unique flair that I could practically taste it and was set on it before he had finished. Pollo magnifico, and it was magnificent! As was our service. Our drinks remained full, we were never lacking in chips or salsa, he remembered the sour cream I had asked for, and provided us with fantastic conversation. I've been in the service industry for 12 years, and you sir wow'd me. As for the food/environment/drinks everything was wonderful as always, this review is all about the service.

Insanely clean place with an expansive menu, great chips and salsa and friendly service! I hadn't been to a Jose Pepper's in years but after a long day over at Schilitterbah Waterpark we wanted something without having to think about it too much. We happened to go on a Monday evening where there was plenty of patio seating and $2 margaritas - tough to beat that on a summer night. Our server Haley was very prompt and friendly. She encouraged us to go in on the espinaca which was definitely the right call. It's pretty tasty, especially with a little salsa on top of it. Fiancee tried the veggie quesadillas which we loaded with broccoli, mushrooms, cauliflower and cheesy goodness. I went with their steak tacos and they were HUGE and really tasty. I like that they had the taco holders with them which were key. Sometimes the best meals are the ones that sneak up on you, and that was definitely the case here. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience and would hit this spot again if I'm near the Legends.

Visited this location before a summer concert. We thoroughly enjoyed the meals but the service was rockstar! Our drinks never empty. Everything came out correct and our chips were replaced proactively and before half were consumed. They were on their game this night! Bravo!

I just want to say I'm not a chain snob. I embrace chain restaurants. That being said, meh is the best I can say about my meal here. Don't get me wrong, the service was great but I've never been wowed by any meal. I've kind of just been blah. There's nothing exceptionally wrong with the meals but there's nothing to write home about. The prices are reasonable, the meals are large enough that most will have leftovers. My daughter was mad when she found out that Jose Peppers wasn't Taco John's so she doesn't get an objective input lol. Ultimately would I go here with a group? Yeah I would. I think everyone who would be in a group could find something that they would be okay with. I wouldn't turn down a meal but I wouldn't run out to go here.

Good food always!! But! The servers are still pretty new and seem like they don't know whats going on yet, also they got rid of the espinaca for a dollar with an entree special now its 4.99. The food is always amazing, service will get eventually i hope!

It was our first time ordering here and we did take out. I ordered the enchilada especial and my fiancé ordered the enchiladas trio. Note we never ate here ever. It was delicious definitely ordering again. It also came with chips and salsa which was shocking because most Mexican restaurant don't give you chips and salsa if you do take out.

Great margaritas. Server was a little less than happy to be serving because it was so busy but let up after a while. Fajitas were amazing!!

We've had nothing but amazingness from here. The service is phenomenal. All the food was brought out quickly and made correctly. It's always so good as well. You get lots of food for a little price. Couldn't be more happy. Nice to finally have a decent Mexican restaurant by the legends.

First time we went here shortly after they had opened, the hostess made us do a full circle around the restaurant trying to find our assigned seating(LOL). Which wasn't good because the floor was quite slick at the time. Other than that silliness, they taste exactly the same as the Jose Pepper's off of Midland Dr. which is very good to me. We usually have a coupon for the queso dip. The dip is very good as well as the normal salsa dip. I don't care for their tacos very much. I most enjoy their burritos. Good service and good food in my over all opinion.

Went there for lunch with my team. Delicious food. Being a vegetarian was able to replace any meat with black beans. For a price of Chipotle burrito you can get more here, don't miss out.

Fresh food! Just opened last week and I think this is some of the best Mexican food I've ever had!! Huge portions. Good price. Happy hour 3-6 and after 9-- (I think). Open dining area-- nice bar- can see TV wherever you sit.

I have always gotten great service here. My go to meal is the crispy beef tacos as they let you get fruit instead of the rice and beans.....that's my favorite choice here.

Food was very good. Service was great. Salsa is fresh, chunky with hot and mild. You shouldn't be disappointed if your looking for Mexican food around here
