Great old fashioned burger/sandwich shop. Thanks to Yelp we found a new stop on the way to the lake! SO many choices! My husband had the pizza burger and he absolutely loved it. I had a loaded small burger since the King's burger is 7ozs. We shared onion rings. Not a fancy place - people go for the food. The help was friendly and curteous. Ask for Blake, he'll give you drink refills! :)

Our experience was ok, but not great. Not being from around here, I thought (by the name of the restaurant) that it was more of a sandwich shop than a burger shop. As far as the burgers go, they were tasty. You could tell the meat patties were hand made, the onion rings were delicious. The hot dogs were very favorable, and was my favorite part of the meal. The burgers were very greasy, and the bacon was paper-thin. My recommendation would be to prepare the meat in a less greasy way, and to source a better quality bacon. Liked having a nice selection of sodas to choose from, and the customer service from the employees was phenomenal! This location was a nice stop on our way through Kansas.

I lived in the area for about three months and ate here perhaps four or five times. I was never disappointed. The service was always friendly and fast. I tried something different each time. Was not impressed by the pizza burger. It wasn't bad, but it didn't taste like pizza at all. The other burgers I tried were awesome. I think I was most impressed with the sides, though. Anything fried, whether it be onion rings, tater tots, or fried mushrooms, was always perfect. And I mean PERFECT. I don't know what the secret is, but the batter never fell off my mushrooms or was soggy in any way. I love the fact that this is family owned since the 50s and operated out of an old trailer, like the old-timey 50s diners you see in movies. It's cute and quaint. But they only have a few booths, so don't expect large group seating.

Great burger just like your mom would make. Yelp hasn't steered me wrong yet. You have to drive by three burger chain locations to get to but well worth it. I felt like I stepped back in time to the 50's when I opened the door.

Great place to stop for a burger. Cheeseburger and fried green beans are on point.

Stopped at DQ next door for a generic burger and ice cream but they don't serve food at this DQ...low and behold, Kings is next door. DQ gals suggested it for great burgers. Was recommended that I get the club burger and I am glad I listened. Great burger for sure, I will be stopping here again whenever I pass through the area. And way better than the generic burger I thought I was going to get!

Great burgers cooked fresh to order. Highly recommended to stop in and grab a burger. Small seating area and not big on ambiance.
