As we were traveling on business, 2 local people recommend this place for a milkshake . I pulled in the parking lot mid afternoon and there a few cars, so I thought let's try this. Clean place ( green color ) and almost reminded me a refurbish Mickey ds . They took my order - 1 large chocolate milkshake- what I got was a larger cup full of soft serve ice cream- no way you could call this a SHAKE- really disappointed - would not ever again.

Good burgers and huge portion of fries decent price suggest to share fries lol food was out very fast

Their milkshake brings all the boys to the yard :) Fantastic shake variety. Try the licorice shake and Bogey surprise; they're great. With a zillion choices, go ahead and experiment. Minus 1 star for 1) super long drive thru waits for hot foods. 2) the soft serve could be better. Go to Braum's for genuine real-milk ice cream.

It's like the state fair year round! Everything is good and prices are reasonable. Oreo shake is my favorite Food takes a few minutes longer to get out than most fast food joints but its worth it.

With the admission that I'm not local, I don't see the fuss. They use soft-serve ice cream, of which I am not a fan. The tables were dirty and there were a billion kids working back there, so I am not sure why they don't have someone bussing more. The food was pretty much run-of-the-mill fast food. No pop. They have a lot of shake combinations, but they start from second-rate ingredients. We liked Braums much better, truth be told.

Clean environment and friendly staff. The mushroom Swiss was good as the sour cream burger which was very good. The bacon cheeseburger was not as good. The bacon was chewy and the used dehydrated onions, not real or fresh. Other than that not bad for the price.

To be short, this is place is basically a glorified McDonald's that seems to have a cult following within the town. When I came in, it seemed like they had decent food, based on seeing the food from a distance, but I later found out I was dead wrong. One of the first red flags to me was the fact that the burger came with mustard as a standard option! Mustard? On a hamburger? It simply doesn't belong there. They claim they have 101 milkshake flavors, but all of the flavors are just 6 different soft serve flavors mixed with random candies, (and nothing else, no milk) so it's just like any self-serve yogurt place. I realize as a Californian, I am spoiled by In n Out's hamburgers, but Bogey's hamburgers were literally inedible. When I unwrapped the foil wrapping on my burger, I lifted up the bun to find a paper thin, beef flavored hockey puck that they call a "beef patty." It looked nothing like the pictures of thick, juicy hamburgers plastered all over the walls of the restaurant. I also ordered curly fries, which they call "Kurly fries." I ended up getting a massive bag of curved French fries, with barely any spring shaped fries. A huge disappointment if you ask me. They also have styrofoam beverage cups, which is extremely wasteful. How hard is it to switch to paper cups? If you're looking for a good hamburger in Hutchinson, you're better of looking elsewhere, or buying a package of ground beef and a package of buns and make them yourself.

The owner of Bogeys emailed me and told me that it is not their policy to take only 1 HCC card. I am updating my rating to 5 unless it happens again. The food is always outstanding -- I love the burgers and shakes and the staff is usually very friendly and accommodating.

My husband has been wanting to take me here for years, and we finally made it! I had a bacon cheeseburger, fries, and a butterscotch shake. The bacon was so crisp and the grilled onions were cooked perfectly. The fries were fresh and yummy. The shake was not quite what I was expecting because it was more like solid ice cream than a usual shake that you can drink through a straw, but it tasted good. This place was reminiscent of In and Out Burger. I highly recommend it!!

I want to give this a 5 star review, or at the least, 4 stars.....But...... The food was cold, despite a 20 minute wait on a slow weekday night. The tables weren't cleaned, either. The milkshakes are yummy though! Perhaps going through the drive through would be quicker, and definitely cleaner, at least compared to the night we visited!

With no In N Out for hundreds of miles, Boogey's is not a bad option. Double or triple cheese burgers with extra grease and pretty much any type of shake you can imagine. Go for it!

Wow! The loaded baked potato fried were great, my burger was tasty, and the ice cream was good. A little bit on the high side with too big portions of things you can't reheat, but I was satisfied :)

I have loved this place since I was a kid and try to stop in when I come back to Hutchinson to visit. They have the classic "greasy spoon" fare with hamburgers and french fries. You can't go wrong with a shake from here - they are amazing and come in a bunch of different unique flavors.

Driving through Hutchinson and came across this local gem. Server at the counter was so nice and friendly! Decor was old school fast food place, but with a touch of hominess. I liked it. Salad bar in the dining room looked just to be for show as everyone I saw was ordering off their extensive menu. Favorites looked to be burgers (my companion ordered on and loved it). Still, the salad bar looked fresh with a ton of things to choose from. Lucky enough to come on a day that the special was Bierocks! Perfectly flaky on the outside and the ground beef and cabbage on the inside was moist and perfectly seasoned. Served with tater tots too, so how could you go wrong? Topped it off with a German chocolate shake. The shake menu probably had 100 different ingredients, so good luck landing on just 1! If I'm ever driving through again, I'll be sure to stop!

Arguably the best burger in town, accompanied by a myriad of icecream combinations at a minimal price. Not to mention the clean and comfortable interior. This, along with fast service and a polite staff make this little burger and shake shop a slice of heaven in the hellhole of Hutchinson.

Everytime I come back to town I MUST go to Bogeys. This time it was a PB oreo shake - delish! I'd also recommend a half-order of the chili-cheese fries and a chocolate dr. pepper. Definitely a Hutch landmark. Gotta second Miss Sarah D - TRUE LOVE 4EVER!

A solid burger joint to say the very least! One of their best attributes is the wide variety of their menu; 101 shake flavors! (that's not a typo) and a plethora of side items to go along with a good burger. If you're looking for a unique treat like a banana split shake or a blueberry cheesecake shake, look no further!
(4)
Jeff H.
I heard they had milkshakes, they have hundreds of flavors! I had a triple Bacon jalapeno cheeseburger, chilicheese tots, and a chocolate banana shake! Sonic has been displaced as best fast food!

Don't bury the headline: This place has something like 300 milkshakes on the menu! It's like DQ but without the guilt and self-pity you feel afterward! I was delighted to discover even oddball flavors like "Licorice" are frickin' delicious!!!! The food is alright too. It's definitely hot, but has somewhat of a "microwaved" quality to it but for some reason, it's still pretty darn good and it seems like they make it to order. The whole "Humphrey Bogart" theme is a little light. There's some black and white celeb photos from the golden era of Hollywood. Kinda sad but it beats nothing! The service is super quick and friendly. I hear this place is hell if you are an unpopular Hutch high schooler. My advice: get over it, there's a big wide world out there, sonny! Postscript - Triple banana points for the neon ice cream bowl sign outside.

Mushrooms and milkshakes and tots, oh my! Bogey's is THE PLACE for fattening yourself up on greasy, crunchy, buttery goodness. We're talking chili cheese fries, fried mushrooms, tots and cheese, jalapeno poppers and no less than 101 milkshake frickin' flavors. The best shake: Hot Fudge Nut. Mmmm..... I'm not sure if I go to Hutchinson to visit my family and the wonderful town that I grew up in, or if I go there to eat at Bogey's. Me + Bogey's = TRUE LOVE 4EVER

A great local fast-food place with a killer selection of burger options! I had a bacon jalepeño burger that was just perfect. Highly recommended.

The pork tenderloin is pretty good (if a tad small for a pork tenderloin sammich), the onion rings are tasty, but let's face it. We're all here for the milkshakes (or, in my case, a milkshake malt). It's a good thing I don't live in Hutch now, because I probably wouldn't be able to fit through the front door to eat here anymore. A shake a week was fine when I had a sixteen-year-old's metabolism, but nowadays not so much. Sure was nice to have the opportunity to indulge myself on a trip back to Hutch, though. MmmmmmMMM!

What's the best about Bogey's you ask? The damn drive-thru! When it's 12 degrees outside, the drive thru scores! Having a shake when it's so damn cold outside is odd, but it's a must when visiting Hutch. Of the 101 shakes offered, I had the peanut butter vanilla combo...yummy! The gents had a blueberry cheesecake and peanut butter crunch shake. Yes you can mix them up...up to 4 shakes. Reasonably priced and a great ending after a day at the Cosmosphhere!

I'm from Wichita and when I first started working in Hutchinson I was told by many to try Bogey's. The first time I went- I was not disappointed! The hot fudge shake is simple, but delicous. I had a philly cheese steak baked potato and it was so filling! It's not a place you go for gourmet, it's a place where you go for feel-good foods. Highly recommend for anyone who also an "out-of-towner" like me.

This place is amazing. We were nearby and went here because of the reviews.....and they were true! Burgers are delicious, better than Sonic and even better than In-N-Out! Salad bar is great, especially for a simple burger joint like this. Chili cheese tots are to die for, and the corn nuggets are amazing, and sour cream fries are simple and excellent. And let's not forget a !#$%-ton of shake flavors! I would recommend this place to anyone. I hope I get a chance to come again.

This is a great greasy burger joint. Lots of options. The salad bar is WAY overpriced. Would get 5 stars but the soda pop is not great and the iced tea is Horrible. They need to check into a better name brand of iced tea. Also sausage gravy for chicken strips is just Wrong!
