Surprisingly good, moderately priced BBQ/Cajun food joint located in Next to Nowhere, Kansas. I talked to the owners years ago when they first opened for business, and they were imports from the South--Louisiana, I do believe--bringing food and a bit of a different culture to the sedate bedroom community of Holton, KS. The menu is quite extensive, with all the staples that KC BBQ aficionados would expect--in addition to catfish and Cajun items. Be advised, however, that just because it is on the menu, it may not be available when you want it. Particularly ribs. I understand, it is a micro-business, and they may have runs on items. Have a back-up item or two in mind, so you won't be disappointed. It does take a bit of time for orders to be processed. Be patient. If ordering carryout, there is an antique store a couple doors down that you can fritter away 15 or 20 minutes while waiting. Well worth it for some good eats, and it's not far from Lawrence, Topeka or any of the casinos in NE Kansas.
