We were in Hesston from all over the country for our Dad's funeral. We needed a place to host the reception and The Water's Edge was highly recommended. The manager Tom was so pleasant and accommodating including trying to keep the price down. They treated us like family from beginning to end. We were surprised how good and homemade all the food tasted and looked. The fried chicken buffet was excellent including all the side dishes. They kept the buffet full, fresh and hot even though they had a full house that Friday night. Tom and his wife served us their homemade ice cream for dessert. The wait staff were friendly and super fast with our drinks or other requests. They keep the menu simple so they do a super job on the food. I cannot say enough positive things about this restaurant!
