We yelled this place while we were going to Abilene to go on the trains. At first glance there is nothing to be impressed about. Same thing once you walked in the door. Other then that this place is really good. The food was amazing, and reasonably priced. Their pancakes were about 10inches and well priced at $3 a piece. I myself had the All-American with two eggs, hashbrowns, my choice of meat and toast. This was really good and again reasonable priced. For two adults, and two children came to $26. If this was a cracker barrel or ihop this would of been closer to 40 or more dollars. I will definitely go back to this place when I go back to Abilene.

Worth a stop of I 70. Had the fried chicken special for Sunday brunch. All home made sides, deeeelicious. Service by Heather, awesome. Had to get a mug as a souvenir.

We love this place! I found Joe Snuffy's via a Yelp review which read, "Get past the unassuming exterior to the gem inside," and I'm so glad I did! Great food, wonderful service, full service bar. Everything on the menu is yummy and the portions are huge. All around a great place to eat!

First, if you are a tourist.. Go south of I-70 on Buckeye (exit 275) past the railroad tracks and turn right on first. If you get lost, just ask a local where Miller's Tavern used to be. Now for the food. Maybe some won't call it a five but in Abilene this place is a ten. My wife and I had the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and it was one of the best we've ever had. The onion rings are made from real onions instead of the frozen stuff you find in most places. The baked beans are marvelous but the coleslaw had a bit too much vinegar for me. The next day my wife had Fried Chicken and I had a Hammer Burger. I won't bore you with how good it was but I can tell you they actually cook food here. You won't get the frozen mocrowaved barely edible stuff found in the north end of town. It's less than 2 miles south of I-70 and well worth the extra time. Enjoy. I sure did.

We came here since my Dad knew about the place from a previous visit. Service was prompt and friendly. We both ordered the lunch special which was chicken fried steak; it was seasoned and cooked perfectly. We had mashed potatoes and green beans; the mashed potatoes were the real thing! I'd recommend this place if you want home style cooking.

Stopped by for an early Sunday breakfast. Typical country style breakfast options. Meal was cooked to perfection and wait staff was pleasant and attentive.

This place used to be located in the Bowling Alley located just off I-70 but recently moved into it's own location more into the interior of Abilene. Menu is still the same but now offer beer. Just a simple hometown place with good food and atmosphere. Often has Daily Specials. Closed on Tuesdays.

What a find! Fast, friendly service, and FULL of customers! We fortunately grabbed the last table available. My dad's pork chops, smoked on site, were cooked perfectly, and the salads my mom and I ordered were fresh, and huge, even though they were half sizes! Best part was the homemade peanut butter pie - rich, smooth, creamy, and topped with tons of Reece's Pieces! This place is the real small town deal. Don't forget to grab a souvenir shirt! Can't wait to wear it around LA when I get back to the big city and show off my Midwest roots :D

Out side looks like a plain bar but when you go in you are greeted by a nice staff. The room has tables and chairs all a round plus the bar . They serve good simple food. And the regulars that come in our very friendly. If in the area do give this place a try.

YELP Review: The outside of this establishment looks like a dive bar, but don't let that fool you. Inside, you'll find a friendly, homey atmosphere. They have quite a menu (which includes carry out and breakfast all day), but were noted in their TV commercial for their burgers...so that's what we ordered. We weren't disappointed. Yummy, and I was stuffed when done. Should have taken a to-go box for half of the large portion order. Waitress chatted with us a bit and invited us back.

This place was nothing to look at on the outside and the inside was just as bad. We saw reviews on here and thought it'd be amazing. What we hoped for was a decent lunch. What we received was a hamburger and chicken sandwich, both of which came from the freezer. I essentially had a chicken patty and my boyfriend had a hamburger from a package. We were thoroughly disappointed in the quality of the food. The server was very nice though, that's worth the star. I just cannot believe people pay $8-10/meal and are happy with something they can have for $2-3 at Burger King.

Good food. Good atmosphere. Biscuits and gravy are awesome! If you're in Abilene you should definitely make this a stop on your menu!

Owner is retired military from NC who "married a German girl," which explains the weinerschnitzel on the menu and the pulled pork special, which was delicious. Tasty food, fast service, and the most polite teenage waiter ever.
