Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Greek's has hands down the best buttery breadsticks and spicy cheese sauce. The pizza is really good too. I love that they cook the pizza so that the pepperonis have a crispy edge. The food is fabulous but the service is hit or miss.

Gourmet house pizza was outstanding- something about their feta cheese was extraordinary. Italian imported gelato topped off the meal and our waitress Wendy L. was friendly, knowledgeable and courteous! We loved it.

This was our first time at Greeks. We went on a Thursday night at 7. The dining room was pretty full, maybe four open tables. There were two waitresses and they were very busy. They tried to keep up but fell short. Only one could serve alcohol so the wait for drinks was long, the food came out quickly, but table service was sparse. It took a long time to get your check also. The reason I'm giving them 4 stars is the food was delicious. The salad was really good and the pizza was cooked to perfection. We had a mushroom and spinach pie. The sauce was flavorful and the crust was garlicky. We'll be back.

Try the "Hannah Greek Salad"! Greek salad with gyro meat! Excellent! The unknown dinner REALLY digs it!

Bad place.... The food is cheap but has very slim pickings. The food is inedible except for the cheese pizza. The waiters are rude and the food takes a very long time. I come here twice a month for the pizza but the pizza only. I neglected to mention that this is fake italian.

Only been here once but I cannot wait to try everything on the menu. I have been to the last 3 or 4 buisnesses that have occupied this space (since Zorbas) and none have had that great of food or service. I think that Greeks has it and is on the right path. he cheese bread with Feta is worth the trip alone.

Always on the lookout for a great new pizza joint, we took the girls to Greek's Pizzeria about a week ago and found Greek's to be just what we needed. First off, the service was outstanding. All of the team at Greek's are friendly and patient, especially with our little girls. That is the mark of a true family orientated establishment. My wife and I split the "Spinach Deluxe" pizza with roasted garlic and fresh spinach. The sauce is delicious and the combination of tastes was just right. The crust is just right, too. Crispy in the right spots and fluffy in the others. We will be back to Greek's Pizzeria and I would recommend it to friends, family and well wishers. Bonus points for being right on the brick streets of Zionsville.

Oh historic Zionsvlle! We truly do love your charm! A wonderful suburb to grow up and a wonderful community where everyone has a smile. Greeks Pizzeria is a great addition, a great local pizza shop what I will direct many of my out of town guests to. We joined some other Zionsville natives for a warm summers evening on the patio and a pie. It was the perfect evening there is nothing like dining outside just off the old brick main street. Our server was new so menu knowledge and remembering to refill the water was often put on the back burner. But it wasn't flagrant, just a new server. Keep it up, we'll visit again just remember the basics such as keeping the water glasses full and the condiments preset on the table. The food was Delicious and I can't wait to go back to try more menu items.

The food was great but it took a little while to get our drinks and breadsticks after we ordered because there was only one waitress but other than that a very good place to go.

Greeks is my all time favorite pizza place. The addiction started back when I was a freshman at Ball State - their local restaurant was about the only reason I stepped foot into the Village. When I transferred to Purdue at the end of the year I was thankful for making the decision, but heartbroken to leave Greeks pizza behind. Lo and behold, Greeks opened up downtown Zionsville a few years later and it became my boyfriend and I's regular spot. We both live on opposite sides of the country (him in California and I in DC) but we ALWAYS make time for Greeks when we come back into town. Start with the breadsticks - you can't go wrong with any of the pizzas to finish up. My favorite is cheese but Clay always goes with black olive and mushroom.

We came here on July 3rd for a quick bite and the pizza was very good. We ordered the Roma pizza and the crust was a buttery cheesy goodness. Pizzas were great and inexpensive, a good option for a quick meal. We also had the Greek salad, was a little disappointed that the olives were clearly from a can and could have been a bit better, but given the price what do you expect. Overall it was good and will be back.

We came here a couple years ago, and we thought it was the best pizza we'd ever had. They have the most amazing house pizza. We loved the thick crust. We also got imported Gelato which our waitress, Wendy gave us samples to see which flavor we'd enjoy. We had the mint chip and vanilla. Super friendly service & great location right in downtown Zionsville.

I'm giving this experience three stars because it was just okay. I had pasta with marinara sauce, and I asked them to add mushrooms to it. The mini garlic bread sticks served with the pasta were delicious, but the pasta and sauce were mediocre. The sauce was watery. Eew. Isn't this a pizza place? Shouldn't they have excellent pasta with marinara sauce? The cinnamon twists with icing were good. The service was not well-executed; the young ladies who served me had apparently not been trained properly. This is an issue with the management, not with the high schoolers themselves. Lastly, the bill came to me with just a handwritten total. I had to ask for an itemized bill. I've never been to ANY place of business that didn't automatically provide an itemized bill. Again, this is management's issue. They definitely need to step it up before I'll bring anyone to their restaurant.

Their pizza, "shells" (calzones), and breadsticks are all sublime. The dining experience itself is on par with what you'd expect from mostly young kids on staff, but is overall enjoyable. They are also quick with their service as well. I have been a repeat customer and will continue to be.

This Greek's Pizzeria location has, arguably, the best pizza in Indianapolis, if ordered and eaten in the restaurant. The pizzas are always hot, the toppings fresh and delicious, the sauce makes the pizza, and the crust is incredible. With the selection of pizzas, most diners will find a pizza to enjoy. The salads are always crisp and fresh, the Greek salad being my favorite. The shells can be a bit dry, but are usually very good. The service, on the other hand, has never been good. This location always seems understaffed and the staff are either on their first night or, if they've been there for more than a day, they have way too many tables to give any one of them more than cursory attention. It's a mystery why the owners cannot solve this problem, since it's one they've had since they opened and other locations of the same chain have very good staff. The space is very small and has too many tables in it. If a fire ever breaks out during their dinner rush, it's going to be ugly. Because it is so small and the tables are so close, you can't really converse with the people with you at your table, but you can catch up on everyone else's lives. The decor is cold, stock photos of other locations with two televisions stuck on the north wall, the mute on, and canned music you can't understand over the roar of conversation. Getting delivery or carry out from this location is like playing Russian roulette with all but one of the chambers loaded. Almost every time, they have either gotten the order all wrong or the pizza was burned into inedibility. At the prices they charge, this should never happen. Calling to complain has always proved to be a waste of time, so I have stopped ordering carry out and delivery from here. If you want a great pizza, you're not that hungry yet, and you have some extra time built into your evening, then take the time to enjoy the pizza. If not, go down the street to Zionsville Pizza.

I ordered delivery several times from here as the pizza and breadsticks were okay. The punk on the phone wanted to argue with me about me being out of the delivery area when they've delivered to my house at least 5 or 6 times...and I tipped the drivers very well. I will never order from this place again. They've lost my business permanently since they don't deliver to Anson.

Tastes good but then what doesn't smothered in butter and oil. That seems to be their MO. Nothing special here. Just ok. I would look elsewhere unless you really want to eat on main st.

Food was really good but this was the second time that we have been to the restaurant and had terrible service. We have two small kids and our waitress promised out breadsticks would be out quickly... The NEVER came and our waitress never acknowledged it even though she took the cost off the bill. Unacceptable not to mention it IMO. The gentleman that finally had a clue was only a bus boy a had a hard time accepting my tip! I would be very hard pressed to go to this location again even though I've loved this pizza since my college days!

Ordered the Greek Special Pizza. Awesome! Tons of flavor and the crust is delicious. The breadsitx were "garlic-y" and the cheese dip is pretty good too. The buffalo wings were excellent, very spicy, just the way I like them. The service was top notch too! The girl at the checkout actually held a conversation! That's hard to find nowadays... some places hire people that just want you in and out so they can continue texting on their phone, but these girls were extremely nice and we will definitley be back! Keep up the great work guys!

Got takeout 6/26/2012, first time eating this pizza. I called the order in, they said 20 minutes, and it was ready when I got to the store, which was a bit less than 20 min. The place was not busy, so I do not know how the wait time would be if it were. The person behind the counter was quite pleasant. We had a large Greek's Special, sort of a kitchen sink, everything on it variety. The ingredients were quite fresh, and they were VERY generous with the pepperoni. The crust was nice and tender, the center portion did not get too soggy to hold the ingredients but the outer crust was not overly chewy or crunchy like some places. Their pizza sauce is quite fresh tasting and (as someone else here said) with just a slight sweetness, but not at all too sweet. I would say the value for money was fine, not too pricey but not cheap either. I would probably give 4.5 stars if it was possible. My local pizza standard is Bazbeaux's downtown, and this was not quite up there yet, but still a keeper and very close to home.

Ordered pizza for delivery. Pizza arrived and I received an admonishment from the driver for living so far away and was told that they would never deliver to me again. My crime was ordering the pizza for the first time. Seriously. I would rather my pizza come without nonsense spewing from a 16 year old brat. Never again. Probably should have called the restaurant and told a manager, but there are other pizza places that I like and I have no feeling of responsibility to this place.

Great food and overall experience... Located on Main Street Zionsville, it couldn't be in a more quaint location - right on the brick road among the old time village store fronts. The restaurant is clean and accommodating, you can sit in one of 2 rooms or on the patio. This visit we sat in the back room among two classic arcade machines. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, even offered to give us drinks to go! Food: We split the garlic bread sticks. The texture was perfect, the same dough used in the pizzas and "shells" - perfect blend of chewy and melt in your mouth softness. They do serve the sticks in a puddle of garlic butter so it can get a bit messy but the sticks don't get soggy at all. The marinara sauce served with the sticks was tasty but a little too chunky to use as a dip. I had the pizza on a previous visit - the chicken fajita pizza was very good that visit. This time I had their Stromboli "shell" which is what they call their calzone. The crust was excellent and the fillings were just right - a nice Italian taste with sausage, onions, sauce and more. Highly recommended. My wife had the Greek salad - she remarked that is was good but not quite the Greek salad you get at a Greek restaurant. She also had the spaghetti with marinara sauce, she prefers meat sauce so it wasn't a favorite. If you haven't tried Greek's Pizza yet - give it a whirl - I think you'll like it!

We ordered here for the first time last week, the pizza will appear appetizing. What pizza isn't? I will tell you that sauce tastes so close to ketchup that it's gross, not a pizza sauce that I enjoyed. You might be better off baking a frozen pizza, but not bad if you're completely starving.
(3)Drew E.
It's fine, mostly people's kids and crowded and noisy. Food takes a long time to come out, even for takeout. Looks like a constant little league pizza party in there. The pizza is better than chain pizza, not gourmet by any stretch. They do not sell pizza by the slice which is pretty stupid.

We had high hopes after reading the great reviews and ordered the chicken bacon ranch pizza. We found the pizza to be lacking sauce and very dry. We will be trying other pizza places in Zionsville.

Slowly becoming my favorite place to get pizza delivered to Zionsville/Carmel. Great value, good food, descent price. The garlic breadsticks are awesome!

We try to support local businesses whenever we can but this place is just not good. Called in at 4:45pm on a Thursday and told pizza would be delivered in 30-40 minutes. Ok so fine that works. Fast forward to 6pm and I have a house full of starving, whiny kids who are getting desperate for food. Keeping in mind we live about 2 miles from the restaurant so not really a long drive! Anyway the pizza arrived then and was lukewarm and the crust was burned. The top of the crust was a very deep brown and when you looked at the bottom you could tell it was really burnt. Not sure what happened there but obviously no quality control anywhere. My kids pulled off and nibbled at the toppings but didn't eat it - ended up serving them cereal and sliced fruit for dinner at almost 7pm. So with tax and tip to the driver I paid $30 bucks for a cold, burnt "Greek's Special" pizza that ended up in the trash. Called restaurant and they gave me some story about being slammed with orders (really? this was early on a Thursday not right before the Superbowl!) The guy on the phone seemed apologetic about burnt pizza and offered me a credit that they'd keep on file for my next order. Like I will ever order from them again! Just hung up and don't care. Long day at work and just wanted to feed family a nice dinner and have a quiet evening! Time to go back to the big pizza chains. Not good but at least it's cheap and usually comes quick.

We got Greek's carryout the first week they opened. I rode down on my bike about 20 mins after placing the order. They were still working out the wrinkles with their service so it took a while to pick up, but the pizza was really good. There are a few of them in central Indiana, but I wouldn't consider them a chain. They have a local feel, have quite a few different pizza options that you won't see at Domino's or Papa John's. They also other menu items that looked pretty good but I think we'll likely frequent them the most for carryout pizza.

Worst customer service I have ever recieved. I was barely waited on. Watched multiple familes receive help before my table did. Food took forever to came out but was of good quality. Never going back due to being treated differently than the other familes there as I am a minority. Downtown Zionsville is a beautiful are but discrimination is still prominent.

We recently moved to Indy and we're having trouble finding a pizza place we enjoy. So many had dry breadsticks or bland pizza crust. Greek's is exactly the opposite. It has become our favorite place to order pizza weekly. The delivery person is always friendly and it comes hot, not luke warm. We have yet to eat in the restaurant but if the customer service is as good as the pizza it should be a great experience.
