It's my favorite lunch spot. Always friendly, always clean, always good. My usual is the roast beef with horseradish cheddar and horseradish sauce. The little pickles that come with the sandwiches are the most unusual things ever, and I mean that in a good way. You can purchase these by the jar as well as many other boars head condiments and sauces. The desserts are great, and they have huge salads as well. Even their coffee is good. If you're visiting French Lick and West Baden, step outside the resorts and make a point to give Mickie's a try...Think independent Panera-type establishment where there's always service with a smile. : )

Great deli with Boars Head meats. Very clean. The staff is really cute and friendly too.

The owners are very jovial and helpful. We walked in and they immediately made us feel at home. They could tell this was our first time in and helped us on our path to a food decision. We ordered some breakfast sandwiches and they turned out to be pretty good. Overall I recommend eating here for breakfast.

Clean, friendly service, delicious treats. I had a pressed roast beef sandwich with horseradish sauce and horseradish cheddar. The potato salad was amazing! Husband had chicken, bacon, ranch and mom had Reuben on marble rye. We were all über pleased with our selections and will definitely go back soon. All sides and treats are homemade and they have a diverse selection of breads. They also carry People's Republic of Teas and the ice tea was in perfect! If you visit French Lick anytime soon, please make it a point to visit this family- owned gem.

We ate here while staying at the West Baden Resort. The food was considerably better than what we had while at the resort bar. I had half a veggie wrap and it was delicious. The half sized wrap was much bigger than I expected and certainly a whole meal. The service was outstanding. Whoever waited on us knew the menu very well.

It's hard to improve on what Boar's Head already does. Mickie did it though. Stellar sandwich combinations. Friendly staff. And the apple dumplings....made from scrath- you're doing life wrong if you neglect ordering one.

Driving the back roads of Indiana between appointments and found this little deli. Boar's Head meats and cheeses, plus amazing homemade treats. Best road lunch I have had in ages. The tiny pecan pie was worth the drive and the Cajun turkey sandwich on a pretzel roll was pretty awesome too.

We went for breakfast, and had been pleasantly surprised. Great food, reasonable prices, and a decent selection. They even had a selection of energy drinks available for those that aren't interested in coffee.

Delicious food and cozy setting! Great customer service. Be sure to grab a pastry/dessert while you are there as well!

The concierge at West Baden Springs Hotel recommended we stop here for lunch or for a sweet treat. We'd already had lunch, but a homemade baked-good sounded like a great idea. I'm so glad we decided to come here. Absolutely the friendliest, most personable service you could ask for. And the scones, turnovers and cookies are delicious! Highly recommend.

Friendly service. Good sandwiches. Spotlessly clean. Nice selection homemade pastries. Reasonable prices. Hoosier hospitality at its best

We were greeted very warmly by the two women working and the smells of baked goods. We ordered a cinnamon roll that was heated for us. We also ordered two egg sandwiches. Food was brought out promptly and was very good. I won't say this was the most exciting place but a great way to start the day! I definitely recommend it.

Stopped in for a mid day treat. Between the four of us we had a cinnamon roll, cupcake, muffin, and a cookie sandwich. All were great! Deli menu looked good as well and featured Boars Head meats. Had a Muffaletta I'd love to try on our next trip!

Mickie's was highly rated on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. Nice atmosphere and the breakfast sandwiches and cinnamon roll were delicious. They offer picnic sandwiches and goodies like carmel apples. Service was very friendly.

My wife and I were in town for the weekend on a couple's getaway and stopped here purely by chance. I must say I was getting a little frustrated standing in line as they were busy and the line wasn't moving very quickly. I made a comment to my wife about efficiency that I probably should have kept to myself (I should have also realized they were taking the time to make sure orders were correct and greet their customers - a good thing that takes time). A few minutes later a very nice gentleman standing in line next to us with his wife reached over and put his hand on my shoulder and said "good things are worth waiting for". I responded with a "yes" and we struck up a nice conversation in line. He asked where I was from and welcomed me to French Lick since I told him this was our first time staying here. We exchange a few more items of small talk and then it was time to take our order. As I was getting ready to pay the nice young lady behind the counter said that will be $2 dollars and some odd cents. Thinking she had read it wrong as it couldn't be $2 dollars she said that the gentleman I was talking too had paid for my meal and my wife's as he left. A random act of kindness I will never forget. To top it off the food was great..... Mickie's is a great little deli and appears to be family owned and operated. Top notch place and people. And by the way, if you are ever looking for property in the area, look up Brooks Galloway Realty. The lady behind the counter told me it was Mr. Galloway that had bought our meal. An unforgettable experience.

After eating our dinner we wanted to take some dessert back to our hotel. When we parked we realized that Mickie's was closing in less than 5 mins. We decided to go inside and see if there happened to be anything still available that also looked good. Sure enough there were several choices and the lady that helped us was extremely friendly! We apologized for coming in so late and she told us to take our time there's was no rush! Even after we chose our delicious treats she asked of we would like to sit and eat them there even though they were closed. We told her eye wouldn't do that to her and she said that we were more than welcomed to stay as long as we wanted to. Next time we are back at West Baden Hotel we will definitely be back in Mickie's!

Highly recommended. Very tasty sandwiches! All Boar's Head- top quality. Pretzel roll is great but they run out. The sandwiches deserve better bread. Baked goods are solid. Could be browned a bit more. Very clean, terrific staff.
