Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I have NEVER been disappointed here. The pizza is awesome and appetizers are wonderful. I used to get a pepperoni and cheese Stromboli when I was in high school, but found out last year (I have lived outside of IN for about 16 years now) that the Strombolis are either smaller, or I remember them being larger (most likely the latter). Now I always get the farouk with no mushrooms (the only way I like mushrooms is fried), often with a side of fried mushrooms (they are not morels, but just as good). This place is usually packed, so come a little early just in case.

Great food and great value. A bright spot in the local eatery lanscape. Some people may think it's a bit pricy but I feel you get what you pay for!

Really impressed with the food but not the prices. Although the steak is worth the cost, the atmosphere is not. It was one of the best ribeye's I've had in quite a while. The sweet potato was pure awesomeness, rolls delicious. The Vinegar Slaw was different, not bad but not what I was expecting. Deep fried portabellas were also tasty but a tad bit on the greasy side. Service was great, but $36.95 for a steak dinner on a table with a plastic tablecloth is a lil much in my book.

Amazing and great atmosphere. Good service. It can be a little pricey but it is definitely worth it.

Steaks are the best I have ever had. Same with the Fetuccini Alfredo with Grilled Chicken Strips. Steaks are not available on weekends. A favorite among locals.

I found Bobe's Pizza while working near Washington over the course of four weeks. This review is of my most recent visit. We arrived at 2PM on Friday afternoon. Unfortunately Bobe's doesn't open until 4PM. We had ridden motorcycles all day, two of us from northeast Indiana and another couple from near Indianapolis in miserable weather enroute to an overnight stop in Evansville during a lengthy spring ride. At my urging, we planned a stop at Bobe's. We waited in the parking lot and met some of the staff who provided us with menus and invited us in to wait where it was warm. There they served us coffee and took our orders (2 orders of onion rings and mushrooms, 2 large pizzas). And then, they served it, straight from the oven, 45 minutes before they opened! The food was every bit as good as I expected and really hit the spot. Best pizza EVER! If you've forgotten what pizza should taste like, you need to sample Bobe's Pizza. The staff treated us like family and everything prepared to perfection. If we ever venture to southwestern Indiana again, you can bet Bobes Pizza will be on the agenda. And we promise to arrive during business hours. 5+ in all rating areas.

To me, this place is mediocre. The pizza tasted like greasy bread covered in tomato paste. Not much in the way of flavor that one couldn't get from opening a can and pouring it on dough. I've had better pizza from dominos. On the bright side, the cheese is ample and appreciated. Service is good. Steaks are decent, but extremely overpriced. It does seem like people go here out of habit more than for the good food. Not necessarily a bad thing, I guess.

Starting when I was in high school, Bobe's was part of our weekly menu. We lived with in walking distance and we figured it was a way to justify the calories. I now live 800 miles away but make trips back to Washington. When I'm there, I insist on a farouk (even if all I get is an individual). All these years later, Bill and Betty still make them fabulous! I still get Bobe's cravings.

The food is good here but sometimes overly oily. Somethings taste like they are made from frozen. Overall good atmosphere and good pizza.

Bobe's is an institution within my family. I appreciated Bobe's more once I went away from Southern Indiana for school then off the Washington DC area. When I am back home visiting family it is required that we eat here or get pizza and mushrooms for takeout, maybe more than once? The Faruque (sp?) pizza is awesome and the white pizza is a great veggie lover's pizza. My wife and I fight over their fried portabella mushrooms. I cannot comment on the rest of their menu as I have never tried anything else. Bobe's used to only be a small family owned pizza chain with a limited menu in southern Indiana and southern Illinois. The Washington location I hear also has good steaks and other dishes off the menu. BTW: This is the best Bobe's location, followed closely by 6th street in Vincennes and their Lawrenceville, IL location.
