Absolutely love their steak fajita burrito dinner w their hot/spicy table salsa. Big portion and always fresh. Good drink specials during the week. Restaurant service isn't the greatest for the most part, but I haven't had a "problem" yet. Family night is entertaining for the kids. Activities vary. E.g; face painting, balloon making. Pro: They deliver locally! Home, business, hotels. Con: They close rather early. (10p)

Have been there many times and it's mediocre at best, but not many options of good Mexican food out this way. I wanted to drive to EC, but others I was with were on a time constraint. This time it straight up sucked! Should have kept to my usual but this time I tried something different. I ordered the ck fajitas. The server told us they were "making it fresh" so it would take a little bit. Um, I hope they make it fresh? Anyways 50mins we waited! Were they out back chasing the chicken, wringing it's neck and plucking it?! Doubt it. The others had the basic taco or burrito so u KNOW there's was done sitting under the fry lights. Now most the when time I get fajitas they're served on a hot plate steaming and sizzling....but not mine. I could do without the visual and sound effect if it was at least warm but it was luke warm at best. My shells were cold. Cheese was melted then hardened. I'm never going back. The server took my meal off and 1/2 for my boyfriends burrito cause the steak was charred black then sat out and got cold so maybe it wasn't under the fry lights. Not her fault no one in the kitchen knows how to cook. If anyone thinks places like this serve good "authentic" Mexican food you must not get out much. Next time I'm driving to EC. One last thing.....it chaps my ass to see servers sitting in booths with ppl they're serving and know personally. And it really irks me when servers are on their cell phones while working.

My girlfriend and I dined here, and had a very unpleasant experience. While her food was okay, our drinks were terrible. We had ordered one beverage, but changed to a second when the first ended up being flat and bland and flavor. Much to our dismay, the second beverage turned out the same way. Ultimately we settled on water. When our check came, the manager, Carolyn, comped us for one drink, but not both. After much complaining, she dropped the price of the other drink. This is not the kind of practice to ensure customer satisfaction and return visits. Our waitress was very helpful and nice, but the manager was horrible. We will not return to this establishment.

We have only been here twice. We normally will give a place 2 tries before we give up. We give up. The food is not up to par here and it is much more expensive than it is worth. I don't mind paying more for food that is really good, but this isn't the situation.

We boycotted this place for over a year because they never got our take out orders correct and ALWAYS forgot to give us rice and beans with our meals. However, since Leroys doesn't deliver we gave them another chance. I give this review 2 stars because delivery was fast (less than 30 minutes which is what I expect since we live within 3 miles of the place). But once again, NO beans and rice with my husband's dinner. He orders the taquitos and ALWAYS ask for rice and beans on the side and they never give us the sides because they say it's an "appetizer". We paid a little over $30 for 2 meals and chips and salsa so I called back and asked them WHY we paid so much for 1 meal, chips and salsa and an appetizer. Turns out they charged us $8.30 for the chips and salsa. That cost more than the taquitos (8.25). Total rip off. Our mistake for giving this place another shot. But we're definitely NEVER eating from pepes again.

I had an awful experience at this dump of a restaurant. The decor is tacky and extremely dated. Most of there in house "entertainment" is sub par, the bags game was missing bags, the pool tables were missing felt and the darts board was not plugged in. The servers were acting in an unethical manner when they charged me for a lemonade and tequila concoction that they tried to pass off as a margarita. Needless to say i sent it back. And when I asked for a itemized receipt i was met with adversity, by a rude staff. When it comes to service industry they have it all wrong at this dive bar. I would recommend that you go anywhere but here. Oh, and someone got shot at the other dicey bar across the street, as if you needed more of a reason to not patronize this place.

If you want Mexican food don't go here. It's all taste like a frozen dinner and they cover most of it with American cheese. Not to mention they usually get the order wrong. How this place is popular is beyond me. I make better enchiladas than them.

Consistent good food, quick and friendly service, great place to grab lunch.
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
