OMG-go here!!! This is the most amazing Chinese Buffet I have ever been to (and I have been to a lot). There is soooo much food! they even serve pizza!! The interior design is beautiful and up to date! Very clean. Workers were fast....dirty place was gone within 1 minute of finishing it. A little expensive but worth the money.

This is a wonderful Chinese buffet hidden in a strip mall. The trays of hot and cold food include noodles, roasts of steak and chicken, seafood, sushi, a large selection of fresh fruit and salad. The friendly staff replenish the trays constantly. Seating is ample and comfy- we always sit at a booth. After you have stuffed yourself, there is a freezer of locally made delicious ice cream in eight flavors including the one called blue moo. You'll be happily laughing as you leave and walk past the people working out at the gym next door.

very basic menu, nothing more than your normal boxed gfs chineese food. the one thing that made it more than a 2 star was that it has sushi. very iffy sushi, but still sushi. If you are going to still go, make sure you go during their lunchtime, because dinner is expensive.

Chinese selection is fantastic. From fried rice to ice cream for desert. Salad bar with fruit and sometimes shrimp. Service is right on. Never a problem getting seated. Either table or booth, your choice. Eat there quite often.

Kind of a gross environment...food is unsanitary. People could use a brush up on table manners here. Sorry, had a bad experience. The staff is very friendly & attentive.

I can't put in words how much I love this place! The prices are good and the food is very very fresh for a buffet. They have a wide assortment of food to choose from too. The Coconut Shrimp is my all time favorite. They even have pizza and other "non-Chinese" food for those picky eaters that are along for the ride. Aside from the main course they have a great selection of deserts. Go for the self serve ice cream (not soft serve either, which makes me happy they have mint chocolate chip as a selection). And you must try the sugar donuts...YUM! The service is always fast and speedy and the are very nice. The overall cleanliness of this restaurant is very clean, which makes me even more of a fan of this place. If you're in the area (or you just want to go for a drive to try something new) come here!

Very good food. Always hot food I highly recommend this buffet :) prices are very affordable. Your drink is refilled super fast a very good choice to take the family out to eat.

Not the best Chinese in town, but not too bad. This is on par with most of the Chinese buffet restaurants I've been to. The place is fairly clean and the food is decent. There's not a lot of variety between visits. The restaurant has a variety on the buffet, but the dishes never seem to change. The good to this place is that my family of 6 can all find something they like.

I absolutely love their sushi. They must have hired a new sushi chef who actually puts effort into making sushi! So good. Their other food is pretty decent. Crab rangoon is alright, lo mein is pretty good too. However, the service is very hit or miss. Sometimes, it is excellent. Other times, it's terrible.

As far as buffets go it was good. My take on buffets is that it's the best and worst of American culture. Best in the sense of the wide range of choice. Worst is the sense of you feel like you have to get your money's worth so it encourages overeating. This buffet is kind of like one of those Ronco products you would buy on tv. Of course there's General Tso's chicken, sweet and sour pork, and other typical Chinese food. But wait! There's more! Sushi and teriyaki chicken (even though it's Japanese, the sushi roll was decent)! But wait, there's more! How about pizza (seriously, at a Chinese restaurant)!! Oh wait, there's more! Meatballs! What buffet doesn't serve meatballs? That was classic! The best part? The sesame rice balls at the end were very good (jin duei). Enjoy but remember that there's more authentic and better tasting Chinese food in Chicago... In Valpo for $7 it is hard to beat.

This place is going down the gutter. The kitchen has new workers that smoke around the food.. you can taste it on the food. It's nasty. If I wanted my food to taste like smoke, I would smoke myself... I'm not going back.

Very nice decor, and clean, but the majority of the food isn't Chinese. If I wanted pizza, or fried chicken I wouldn't be going to a Chinese place. I left after eating with a head ache, and upset stomach.

This is perhaps the one and only Chinese buffet in Valparaiso, IN, hence the elevated hype from everybody in town. The place is usually packed especially when events are held, primarily by the Chinese & Japanese Department and Confucius Institute, and on the weekends after Sunday mass. Dynasty Buffet is also difficult to miss since it's located on a strip of mall right outside the college campus. There is a range of Chinese selection but nobody should be surprised, after all isn't that the purpose of a buffet? I've definitely been to better buffets with a much wider selection, but this is as good as it gets in good, ol' Valpo for a cheap price. Much of the food is soaked in oil but it can be a tasty treat from time to time. There is also a sushi bar to the back of the buffet. There are pre-made sushi rolls to choose from and customers can also request makis and rolls of preference. I'd usually order the unagi maki and it's pretty decent. (Be sure to leave the guy a small tip after making a special request.) Definitely not amazing but it's an ideal choice for poor college students to get stuffed.

Every time it come here the food gets worse and worse. And the waitress only came to our table maybe 2 times to check on us and then to give us our bill. Don't go unless it's during a rush to be sure you get hot food.

Food here is beyond disgusting.

There's a reason they call this place Dy-Nasty. Make sure to bring a bottle of Pepto for dessert

If you want to have the best 30 mins of your life...... look no further. When I think premier Asian food in Valpo, dynasty come to mind. Their rather bland brown rice and very salty meat compliment each other in your mouth in such a way that is comparable to a choir of Angels. Pizza you ask? Oh they got it! Great service you crave? They provide it! Soda in pitchers? Yup that's how it's served! Battling over weight townies for noodles? You are not prepared!!!!! Seriously though this place is good Chinese for a low price! So break out those sweat pants and get ready to gorge yourself on an obscene amount of food and waddle on home.

Die-Nasty Buffet. Tips: before you head in and dive into the spread, head up to Target first and go ahead and get yourself 24 rolls of toilet paper as well as some unclogger. I think I'd rather head back to the college campus and eat there then ever go back to this place. On the other hand, over 4 years, I did keep going back to this place....still don't know why

I've eaten here more times that I can count. As far as Chinese buffets go, this is a good option. The food is hot and fresh, and they are always busy (especially on the weekends). I like going for lunch because it is cheaper, and my son eats free! My favorites are the green beans, sushi, steak (served only at dinner), and the large selection of fresh fruit. My son loves the lo-mein noddles, fruit, and fried rice. They have an actual sushi chef on hand to make custom creations for you as well. They have a nice balance of Chinese-American food and American food. It's not five-star dining, but it is just as good as all of the take-out places in the area.
