Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

A great addition to the Valpo casual dining scene. Their white rice with cilantro is *amazing*. I mean, you'd think rice is rice, who cares? No, man. This fluffy delight makes my burrito sing. Get the vegetarian burrito so you don't have to pay extra for avocado. Also, it's not listed on the menu but if money is tight or you're not that hungry, you can order just one taco or the kid's meal which is one taco, chips and drink. The staff was a bit clueless when they first opened, but they have their act together now.

I never thought I would give chipotle a one star. I love the food and I love the direction they are taking it with the whole non-GMO factors. The one star is for this one location. I have been there multiple times and have yet to find a time that I have left without thinking how poor the service was. No one expects spectacular service at such a place but some energy would be nice to see and hear. Hope you turn it around soon!

I love Chipotle way too much! That's said, this is the slowest chipotle I've ever visited. I've frequented many, in a couple of different states even, and this one consistently has the slowest moving line ever. Don't get me wrong, I expect a line, I just don't prefer to spend 30-45 minutes (on each occasion) standing in one at a Chipotle. Food is still good which is why they get an extra star. Speed up, find a sense of urgency. You're still "fast" food.

After my 3rd time ordering online, I've learned my lesson. I order online because I am a work and need to be in and out. Every time I've ordered online, I have to wait for my food to be made. There is always a line out the door at this location and it seems like plenty of people are working, just none of them want to help you. After my third bad experience of ordering my food ahead, I knew I wasn't going to go back. I walk in and the Chiptole is empty, one person is grilling chicken and the cashier is spinning around in circles dancing behind the counter. I walk up to pay, my order has not been made, again. As I have to wait for my already placed online order to be made, the people start flowing in and the one person on the food line has to cater to the walk ins first. After my 20 min wait for tacos. I bring them back to work and they each have about 20lbs of guacamole on them which I didn't even order in the first place because I'm allergic. That was a meal and an hour lunch wasted. Never returning.

Chipotle is like any other Chipotle for the most part except in their portion sizes and this one, gives great portion sizes! It made me realize how my hometown Chipotle gives such small portions in comparison.

Remember the last time you ate poop? I don't either, but I assume it must be something similar to the way my Chipotle tasted last time I ate there. How the hell does extra guacamole cost $2 extra? Why is gouging for guacamole acceptable? Do I really need to bring in my own avocado Chipotle? Is it so CEO Steven Ells can further furnish his $13.4 million dollar mansion? After being gypped out of my daily scratch off allowance the big turd behind the counter puts a smidgen of guacamole on my burrito. What the hell man? The guy must get to take the left over guac home as he stuffs his fat face in his Geo Metro. I can see him now. My water cup is now going to be filled with Fanta you thieves. My burrito's steak was dry as dead dingo's donger. Why did I pay for this? Never again Chipotle. I hope your store is closed and taken over by a mattress place that is substantially less profitable.

My husband loves Chiptole so we eat eat here quite a bit. We like that they try to use responsibly raised food and actually make things fresh every day. In the past this location has been a solid example of a chain that makes good food. For that I'd give them 4 stars, but my last few experiences were 2 star at best, so I'll go in the middle with 3 stars, but I'm a little worried about the trend. On one occasion my carnitas tasted like boiled chicken and was so tough/dry I ended up pushing it aside and eating around it. Today they person making my bowl gave me what looked to me like less than half the amount as usual and my husband also had to ask for more rice, beans, and barbacoa to make it a normal portion. He asked if this was a new policy and they said no. Maybe the people were new and need more training? Not sure, but I hope they get it straightened out soon.

Do one thing and do it well. Chipotle does fast food burritos right. A simple menu, solid options, and super-friendly staff. A chain with a commitment to quality (fresh, made onsite, sustainable food sources, etc.). Tasty. My only gripe is that they should have queso. But the guacamole is worth the extra pence.
