Ive never had a good experience here and I've tried to like this place. They have good deals on wings, they play a lot of PPV fights that I like to watch, and I even had a cousin work in the kitchen a several years ago which kept me coming back. Despite these reasons I can't say Ive ever had a good experience here. The wait staff always forgets something, then never comes back so you cant even remind them. Every time I order a drink I never get a refill because they just never come back unless its to drop off the check. The wings are always the size of my thumb and taste like old turkey jerky, which I've been told is because they re-fry cooked wings that don't get served. The worst (and last) experience left me so angry I refused to give the waitress the MANDATORY 10% tip because she was so rude with no reason other than we were high school kids who just wanted split checks. This was a hard thing to do because I am a waiter and I almost always tip at least 30% unless someone outright offends me, which she did. With 3 or 4 other decent wing joints in Valpo you should just go to any other restaurant and have a perfect decent experience.

Yuck, yuck and more yuck. Unfortunately, us hicks here in Indiana (that's for you Odysseus) have pretty decent taste in food. Lots of us hicks are from big places, too. Bigger than Chicago. Like New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles, so we know BAD food when we taste it. Dried out and fried out. A Hooters wannabe.

Hate this place. Went this week after a two year hiatus because of crummy service and long waits for food. Sat in the bar with my wife. Server carded us. We didn't have our I.d.'s. server wouldn't let us sit in bar and we left. We are both 57 years old. What type of brain dead rule is that?

For those of you writing about the lack of sauce on the wings, which has happened to me once or twice, AS YOU ARE ORDERING, tell the waitress you want extra sauce, either glopped right over the top or in a cup at the side. They always allow this.

This buffalo wild wings is a little inconsistent but is a favorite of mine because I absolutely love the sauce. I've often found myself having to ask for additional sauce though as for some reason many times my wings would not be covered in sauce and at times the service was less than adequate. However most of my many visits are very satisfying.

I am writing this review from the Buffalo Wild Wings in Valparaiso, In.* Our experience here tonight has been very disappointing. Usually, we frequent the Bdubs in Portage. We decided to try the Valparaiso location tonight. This Saturday night seems to be very busy (ufc fight night) so a long wait was expected--even for our party of two, However, we did not expect the hostess to seat 3 larger parties that came in after our party before us. I am not sure the policies of this restaurant, but every other Buffalo Wild Wings I have visited seated customers on "first come-first served" basis. After that frustration, our waitress Ashlyn was ok. She was very accommodating..when I could find her. Yes, I had to get up and find her to get refills on our drinks (beer and water). More than that, the food was ok. The chicken was the same as usual. The fries were the same fries....but not seasoned and clearly had been re-heated. I do not even know why that would be necessary in a packed restaurant, but they were not fresh. Not even close, The most frustrating part of our whole visit was the staff milling around. With a clearly full restaurant (we waited over 80 minutes to be seated), I cannot imagine why staff would be gathered chatting. Yet, 3-4 employees found time to talk about non-Bdubs subjects at the host stand and also at the take-out counter. Also, multiple employees found time to sit with a group of customers (one for over 20 minutes!) and watch the fight. While I am not sure if they were technically working at that time, they were certainly wearing their uniforms and server aprons. Honestly, I wanted this to be an awesome visit, but the staff ruined it for me. After waiting for over an hour, I do not want an absent server--especially when I can see a group of 2-3 servers chatting from my table. This Buffallo Wild Wings location needs improvement. *Also, I would have loved to discuss this with the manager, but s/he passed our section of the restaurant once & never came within 10 feet of our table. This may be why the employees seemed to hangout in our section.

Friendly service and great wings, but somewhat distracted servers, even when the place isn't busy. Service here varies between slow and glacially slow.

I'm going to have to agree with nearly everyone that has previously posted a review. Valpo's BDubs is terrible. Aside from the horrible service, for some reason the cooks here ALWAYS over fry the chicken. Every time I have eaten here and I mean EVERY TIME, the wings are dry and lacking sauce. I keep thinking that it'll change but it hasn't. But I've found a solution! I looked at Portage's reviews for bdubs and they were pretty good. And in portage the restaurant is fairly new. So today I decided to drive a little further and take out from there. I was absolutely AMAZED on how much better it is in Portage. Before you're given your wings they show them to you to make sure that you like the appearance. And they weren't dry and had a perfect amount of sauce on them. Delicious! So my $.02 - GO TO PORTAGE FOR BDUBS. Seriously.

I've been to this Buffalo Wild Wings several times over the past few years, and each time I come away disappointed. I'll start off though with one positive: great sound system so if you're there to watch a game, you won't miss out on hearing the play-by-play even if there is a big crowd. Now on to the issues: Part of the problem is the layout. Most of the restaurant and bar area is set up with tables meant for six or eight people. I have come in during busy sporting events and every table is full. However, at nearly every table, there are 2-3 empty seats. The most egregious example was a party of two seated at a table for eight. During a recent sporting event I ended up standing to watch the game for nearly an hour, but all around me there were empty seats at tables. The other issue is that the staff just doesn't seem to really have a sense of hospitality. They do their job of serving, but they don't give off a warm/welcoming vibe. Neither do the patrons, to be honest. I've come in to have a drink at the bar and no one talks to you. You might as well be invisible to the clientele and the staff. Very unfriendly place. It's a completely different atmosphere than the BW3's back in the day in Muncie, where you could easily make friends and enjoy a night out.

Worst service ever! Beer overpriced! To bad cause the food is pretty good but not worth the B.S. bimbo service! Evidently they think if your blonde with boobs your customers will tolerate your absolute stupidity! Yes you do have act like you give at least half a crap to make money as a waitress and bartender! Go elsewhere plenty of family owned places in town who treat you like well anything!

I'm surprised with the negative reviews. I really like this place. I meet up with my friends here almost every time I'm in town. Parking is easy across the street, they have good specials, and everyone seems pretty nice that works there. They always seem pretty busy so I'm guessing that the negative comments don't really reflect on the general opinion. My favorite part about this place is how they've integrated themselves into Downtown Valpo. They fit in perfectly with the facade of downtown and I really appreciate that. The newer stores all seem to be really obnoxious in their design. (The TVs could use some updating.)

This place has been bad from a management standpoint for years. Service is very slow or non-existant. Go to Wings Etc. better wings and they have a management and wait staff that cares. The local high school kids frequent this place. They are very respectable but the waitresses will often over charge or place charges for items on their bill that they did not order. I have had to go back to get charges reversed several times and they did admit fault. Over the chain is great but not in Valpo.

Wow - not sure what's with the bad reviews. I go here every week for the past few years for wings and they are easily the best tasting wings around. I am pretty disappointed that the wings are no longer 25 cents on Tuesdays, they used to be the only place around that still had that, now they are 45 cents per wing. New management from what I can tell... It also seems like the wings are getting smaller every time I go. However they taste so damn good that I just don't care and it's still worth it to me. I have had one bad experience with a server that just plain sucked...she took 15 minutes to bring our drinks as she stood and hit on the male behind the counter the whole time, oh wait she didn't even bring them...someone else did for her. She showed up one more time I think to attempt an apology, yet she didn't show up to bring our food or bring us some napkins. The manager ended up giving us the meal for free anyway, the food was fine and everything, but wow. He tried to blame her poor service on her being new and having ONE other large table. Now I have worked in the restaurant business and COMPLETELY ignoring the smaller table you have over the large one is just plain stupid, because it's so much easier! Needless to say she didn't receive a tip from me. My only rule for tipping is don't piss me off. Usually pretty easy to do. I'm not going to leave someone gratuity for outraging me. Needless to say, I have not seen her there since so am assuming she was quickly fired, or at least I hope so. Anyway, the bad reviews here are completely off-base and the food here is actually pretty great, well the wings anyway. Of the perhaps 100 times I've been here the service has been good or outstanding with the one exception. Wings are usually cooked well and have a good amount of sauce on them too. I have gotten carry out as well and have found the same to be true.

Considering how sports bar "like" the place is, it really doesn't feel like one, even with the gigantic projection screens. Perhaps the TV's were more noticeable because we sat near the bar. As for customers, the place was considerably empty, although it was a weekday afternoon and in Indiana (not that I have anything against Indiana). Of course it was mandatory we order Buffalo wings, hence the trip here. Our order came quick, but my friend's was a bit over done for their taste. On a positive note, our server did get a new order (no charge) to correct our dissatisfaction and that was nice. Pros: Friendly Servers Cons: Limited Menu, parking on some nights Cost: $$ of 5 Overall Rating: 4 of 5 Recommendation: Recommended
