Great food, good service, and friendly service. This place knows how to cook a great stake.

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Was expensive but you get what you pay for. Steak was cooked perfectly, the gigantic shrimp cocktail and sauce was amazing, and the 3 sides, mushrooms, green beans, and mac and cheese were simply the best. One of my favorite steakhouses to eat at. Makes going to gamble more of a treat when you can also eat food this well prepared. And the service was amazing, my drink was never empty as the server made certain I was well taken care of. See my photos of this wonderful food.

I loved the steak here! Falls in line with Morton's or st.Elmo but without the price tag! Awesome atmosphere, very attentive staff! Can't wait to go back!

To sum it up - - you get a lot for your money at this restaurant. We went a couple of weeks ago with some friends. We made a reservation for 8:00 pm, but could have easily just walked in as there were only a couple of other tables seated. We kicked off with a round of cocktails - all getting something different. All the drinks were served quickly and with a great assortment of garnishes. The food was great! I started with the wedge salad which I really enjoyed. It was 3 smaller wedges of salad which made it perfect for sharing with my husband. I had an 8 oz filet and it was so tender I could truly use my butter knife. The garlic/parmesan butter topper made it extra indulgent and the butter running over into the yukon gold potatoes made them extra yummy as well. The filet was much better than an 8 oz filet I recently had The Capital Grille/Indy. My husband enjoyed his bone-in rib eye immensely also. Our friends enjoyed their steaks and crab legs immensely also. They had a decent wine list, but unfortunately they were out of the first two bottles we attempted to order. The manager handled it very well though and came to our table with a similar bottle and offered it free of charge. We enjoyed the wine so much we ordered a second bottle (we had a hired driver for the night, so why not!). The server seemed a little green, but still offered great service. This is truly a little gem of a place that offers a great steak meal at a good price. Once you are inside the restaurant you don't remember that you are in a casino in the middle of nowhere Indiana.

The meal tonight was great. We were doing a birthday celebration. We had the Gorgonzola crusted strip steak(prepared just right) and the penne pasta which was spicy and tasty. The spinach salad was nicely flavored and the French onion soup was one of the best we've had. Our server was great and had a nice suggestion of saving a bit of the soup to top the steak. We had a key lime martini and a coconut Cosmo . They tasted good but were out of the graham cracker crust rim on the key lime. Disappointed on that. We will return for a special occasion again. Try a creme brûlée for dessert- it's perfect for 2 to share.

For the price you are better off going to Longhorn. The steak is very over-seasoned and I believe it is because they aren't using the best cuts of meat. The restaurant is a-la-cart so expect to pay a little more and stay away from the salads because they are not worth the price. Their shrimp and grits is actually pretty good so I would recommend it as an appetizer.
