I know it seems really strange to vote this restaurant 5 stars, but for what this eatery claims to be they are exactly what they say. When you walk in a little bell dings, its warm and instantly cozy. The interior is fake plants, posters of basketball teams and race car drivers and booths on either side. There is also a tv that is usually playing a CBS show. Walk up to the counter and you will be greeted by a sweet and friendly woman who always recognizes her guests. The other employees are also really friendly and helpful, although they're usually in the back cleaning and cooking. You can eat at a table with real dishes and cups, or get your meal to go. It's all cooked fresh and doesn't take long to get. The food is excellent and hot. The portions are big. They come in medium and large for most dishes. I love the orange chicken. Its prepared with fresh vegetables and the meat is so juicy. I get fried rice as my side. It is so simple and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for people who want a real Chinese meal with friendly service. Give it a try if you like take out. :)

This place has some pretty amazing food for a small town Chinese joint - the problem? The hours are never consistent. I'm not sure if they've always been this way but the last 2-3 times I've tried to order from them, they've been closed on days that they say they should be open and its not even a holiday. Whats the point in having amazing food if you cant buy it when you want it? If they are going to have random days that they're closing, they need to create a webpage that shows those days or at least put a message on the phone so it doesn't just ring and ring... I'm holding out for another chinese restaurant to open so O can get my food on a more consistent basis...

I tried this place once and never went back. I choose Onion restaurant in New Albany or China Bistro over this place. Sorry to say but unlike California or Virginia, Kentucky and Indiana do not have decent Chinese Restaurant. This place needs a makeover.

I love this place. I grew up in sellersburg and I firmly believe this place is the best. Every time we call in the lady knows what we want. I love the sesame chicken, Kung bao, and cashew chicken. Great chinese food in this awesome town.

I have been going there for a long time. I always carry out. Foods always very good, employees always greet you and the place is clean. So what if it isn't a new building. They do a good job there.

I've been eating at this place (near) weekly for about 4 years. Granted, I get the same thing every time (Sesame Chicken), but I have sampled other things on their menu and it's all great. If you're looking for the absolutely best-tasting Sesame Chicken, this small Sellersburg place is fantastic. It's a little creepy how the owner/manager always knows what I'm going to order when I call though. I guess I go there too often eh? :)

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
