Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Chances are if you're in Rockport, you either live nearby or you've lost a bet. :) While you're in town you might as well make it worth your while. Stop by Angelo's Pizza and get the breadsticks. Afterward, I'm sure you'll start planning your return visit. Personally, I've come for years for the sandwiches and bread sticks, but that's not to say anything against their pizza. They offer consistently great pizza place standards, as well as some tasty new takes (the Al Capone is a pepperoni-based sandwich), done to perfection. It's the only place I crave when in Southern Indiana.

In Rockport to visit and we just had Angelo's, just because it's called pizza doesn't mean it's pizza. We had to put it in the oven when we got it home to melt the cheese and brown the crust. Someone in town has to stop them. Had to give them 1 star they don't have a negative star.

I would say that Angelo's has been a favorite for my entire life. Although I live away from the Rockport area, when I come in to visit family, it is a requirement that we have Angelo's while I am at home. I have friends that have moved away as far as Miami that completely miss the breadsticks that they make! They have a great buffet at lunch during the week that has not only pizza, but also lasagna, fried chicken, etc... a little bit of something for everyone. If you are ordering off of the menu, they not only have pretty good pizza, but also different sandwiches available such as the Al Capone (pepperoni based) and the Stromboli (sausage based). A great tip is to order the pizza with Stromboli sausage for a different, milder taste. A must have are the breadsticks! They are dusted with a combination of parmesan cheese and garlic powder. The pizza can be hit or miss depending on who is making it, but for the most part it is usually more hit than miss. Although they don't have delivery, for those of us spoiled city folks, they usually will have your pickup order ready in about 15-20 minutes. The place is usually packed on a Friday night after football or basketball games, but don't let it deter you, it is certainly worth the wait. Make sure when you order you ask about the daily special.

I want to state that I've only have the breadsticks here. They're amazing. They are on the thin side, but that's why I liked them. They are covered in a grated Parmesan cheese powder that is really hard to explain. It's a sweet flavor & they make it for the restaurant. I seriously want to steal a full shaker of it. I've heard the pizza is good but I always order a big order of the breadsticks & eat them all.

When I'm back home in South Spencer, I come here sometimes. Memories of just coming after band practice with my friends, taking stupid selfies in the bathroom, hanging out in the arcade area, it just all comes back to me when I go to this place. I like their breadsticks and I could scream like a banshee seeing that they have Big Red as a drink option. However, the pizza isn't really my favorite. Something about that sauce just isn't working out for me. I mean I'll eat it, because goodness me, I'm a big boy who loves to eat. But it's just not my favorite. Who cares about the pizza though? It's about the memories and laughter you make while being there that counts.

This place is great! The breadsticks with cheese is a must! It's also fairly cheap to eat! It's a little hole in the wall place but don't let that scare you away. It's the best pizza in town!

Angelo's is the local favorite. While I'm not much on their pizza, the rest of their menu is consistently awesome. The Stromboli and Al Capone sandwiches are great and I enjoy the salads and wings as well. The best aspect of the restaurant is their daily lunch buffet throughout the week. You can get fried chicken, meatloaf, wieners and kraut, as well as their traditional Italian offerings. One of the best values of any restaurant that I've been to.
