Very friendly service, especially for a Sunday night! Bf & I stopped here on the way back home to Columbus, about an hour or so before close. Everyone was SO friendly, from the hostess to our waiter to the manager who heard we had never been in before and wanted to welcome us. As for the food & ambiance, it's exactly what you'd expect from a themed chain steakhouse. Peanuts in buckets on the table, wood everything and a menu that boasts meat on meat on meat. Bf went for the Ribs/Steak combo and was pretty happy. The ribs had good flavor but were kind of dry (again, we were there an hour before close, so I get it). I opted for a side salad and bowl of chili. The salad was a little puny but I liked that it came with hard boiled eggs. The house-made dressing was pretty good, too. The chili had a good flavor but was barely lukewarm. The complimentary rolls were tasty but I'm not a fan of the cinnamon butter. No worries, they brought me out a side of regular when asked. Overall while this isn't the type of spot I'd normally visit, this was a great stop in the middle of our six hour road trip!

For starters, our server was super sweet - extremely attentive and insightful. My reason for the update and star drop, you ask? I get that it's a steakhouse and that establishments of this nature are not know for their healthfulness. However, it seems that they take the "dumbed down" approach to their veggie offerings. By this I mean, yes they have carrots, broccoli and green beans but they are all swimmmming in butter and salt making it difficult for anyone with healthful diet needs or on a general diet to meet those restrictions while dining here. All I'm asking for is some through and through healthy vegetables and a menu section that features the healthier options found at Texas Roadhouse. "Healthy" sounds like such an out of place word when discussing this type of business, but, hey! the other chains are doing it. Hop on board.

Food is descent but it is supposed to be a steakhouse and the ribeye their most exspensive steak you cant get in med rare 90% of the time because apparently they precook there steaks and do not make any med rare before putting them in a warmer for hours.

It is really really really hard to go wrong at this chain establishment. They pretty much follow the standards across the board that makes it okie dokie by me! I decided to try the half grilled chicken and it wasn't bad for a steak place, hubs steak was good as usual, I love their sweet taters with the cinnamon sugar butter but this TR had the BIGGEST rolls I have ever seen!!! Not good when you are a carb addict like me and when I asked for a carry out box for the leftovers guess what? Our server gave me a separate box with 4 more of the gargantuan things. Oh yummmmmmm

Steak was cooked right and very delicious. Waitress was very friendly and always kept our drinks filled. Baked Potato was cooked right as was the Fries. Bread was baked just right. Love the peanuts also. Service was very fast. We were seated immediately and the meals were promptly ordered and brought to our table.

This place gets packed! I went to this location at 6:30pm on a Saturday night with my husband and in-laws. We called ahead around 6. We were given a number and they told us it would be 30-40 minutes. It wound up being an hour but it didn't really matter. We were just glad to finally be seated with a basket of those delicious rolls. I ordered a glass of water and the Raspberry Tea Vodka. The tea was HUGE and tasty and way cheaper than I was expecting (only $5.50). My water came out in a nasty, dirty glass. It was covered in a sticky film and had chunks of food on it. Our waiter replaced it, no problem. Our waiter was really friendly and attentive - even though it was an incredibly busy night. We ordered some appetizers - that onion blossom thing is delicious. My father in law ordered some potato skins that looked okay but I didn't try them. I ordered the Road Kill dinner. It was a chop steak smothered in onions, mushrooms, and cheese. The steak was really good. Tasted a lot like the ones my mom made when I was a kid! I had the sweet potato with their cinnamon butter - it was also really good. It had just the right amount of sweetness without being too sugary tasting. The green beans were edible but not good enough for me to finish. I like bacon but these seemed to have too much of a bacony flavor - like mushy bacon bits soaked in green bean juice. The burgers and chicken tenders ordered at our table were also well received. Despite the busy atmosphere, we were able to sit and enjoy our night out for 2 hours without anyone rushing us out. I hadn't been to a Roadhouse in a long, long time, but our experience was so good that I am looking forward to going back. Their prices are reasonable and the service is great. :)

As expected with most steakhouse chains it is nothing special but it fits the bill. The steak was good, the beer was cold and the service service was good.

If you are looking to force down half of a dry, tough steak, surrounded by a lot of white people, while listening to country music, Texas Roadhouse is the place for you.

Really really awesome ribs here. I'm talking, "I crave and dream about them" kind of ribs. Tender meat with hints of crispy well done edges and just-right BBQ sauce, seriously some of the best ribs I have ever had in this area. And of course those heavenly rolls with butter. Very hard to resist! The only negative is that when we were being led to our table, the hostess had no idea the table wasn't cleaned off yet, so we were left kind of standing in the middle of a main thoroughfare while waiting for the table to be cleared. This wasn't an isolated incident either. I observed this happening to just about every group that was brought back to be seated. They would be lingering in that area till the table was cleared. There was even a young couple with their newborn baby in the car seat just standing there in the middle of that walkway area, you could tell they were kinda uncomfortable with all the waitstaff walking around them with their trays of food. They need to figure that out! The bloomin' onion-type appetizer was good, but then the more you ate it, the more you realized what a greasy glob of onion and batter it was. It got kinda gross! For me this place is all about the ribs and I will definitely return to enjoy them again.

I am a huge Texas Roadhouse fan. Every time I've been here I've been welcomed and treated just like a regular. You don't see Texas Roadhouse with huge advertising campaigns on TV like most sit down chains. They get their advertising by making bread runs. Oh and if you've had the rolls here you will know what I'm talking about. They come with a honey cinnamon butter that is to die for. All of the steaks here are hand cut in house which is extremely different for a chain and the sides actually taste like they were made that day. Instead of microwaved just prior to plating. I love to get the Country Fried Chicken here as well. Nothing says comfort food to me than fried chicken mashed potatoes and gravy with corn. This spot in Richmond is probably the busiest dinner crowd in town, but if you come early or call ahead you shouldn't have a problem!

This is probably one of my favorite spots to come eat at in Richmond. Not to offend, but the food in Richmond just can't touch Los Angeles cuisine. I compare it to Outback Steakhouse but, TR isn't trying to be something it's not. Every time I come here, my steak is cooked perfectly. Sometimes I like it well done, sometimes I like it medium rare. I recommend for appetizers: Ceasar salad, don't know why it's so damn good, but i could get that by itself Baby blossom, fried onion with a yummy horse radish dipping sauce Fried pickles, before Snooki made these even more popular then they already are, I had them here. Besides their steaks, I've had the Portabello Mushroom Chicken, which is excellent. Tender chicken and a yummy sauce. Grilled shrimp, served on skewers with a peppery, lemony, garlic sauce that is delish.

LIke all I have been to, good food and good service. We had food leftover, got a takeout box from our waiter, but before we could fill it someone else cleaned the table so fast it was gone. Mentioned it to several people but other than "sorry that can happen", no real love. Could have given me a dessert or something ?

Went there for Father's Day. My husband went in first , while my daughter & I parked the car. thinking we would have to wait was surprised when we found he was seated when we got in. When I asked if they had seated my husband, the hostess was kinda snotty & said he was down the aisle. No one really helped us find him Our waitress was Jen & she knows her stuff!! Took our order & told her we wanted our appetizer before our meal. She made a wonderful suggestion for a bone in rib eye for my husband, making him feel special. The next thing we knew here was our salad. Jen came by & was disappointed we had gotten our salads. She went back to check on our appetizer & came right back & said it was 2 minutes till it was done. Before she could come back, here was our dinner! Jen talked to the manager & got our appetizer for free. She offered to box it so we could bring it home & gave me instructions on how to reheat it. The manager never stopped by our table to see how things were or anything. She had stopped several times near our table. After everything that went wrong you think she would have.

It used to be that I could always count on this place to cook a steak right. Not any more. They have rare, medium well, and well done. No medium, no medium rare. No matter how much I tell them what I want, they just don't seem to be able to do. I always get rare, or well done. Tonight was the last attempt. I am done. A steakhouse that consistently cannot cook a steak is not worth my time or money.
