Strange name, good sandwiches. The first time I saw one of these stores, I was visiting from Philly. I figured it was a place that called a Cheese Steak a "Philly" and added green peppers that don't belong. Besides, Penn Station, to people there, is the train station on 34th Street in New York City, and subs or submarine sandwiches came from Atlantic City. Preconceptions can be everything, but I get the Italian hoagie, errr, sub with oil (no mayo, please) and it's not bad. Dietz & Watson meats and cheeses and Amoroso rolls? No, but it turns out that the taste is good anyway and that's the only thing that counts. While it's not Philadelphia or Atlantic City shop-like, it's worthy of a few visits. The staff are friendly and try to do whatever you need or want. It's definitely better than Subway, for me.

I have never waited this long in my life for a fast food sandwich. I realize Penn Station will take longer than other fast food places, but when you wait 15 minutes and people who came in behind you already got their food and are out the door? Seriously? The attitudes of the workers was also unpleasant. Find another place to eat.

When I have ordered from this restaurant I have never had any problems. The food has always been really good and fresh tasting. I love their lemonade and French fries. I go between a few different sandwiches. The Philly cheesesteak and the Reuben are 2 of my favorites.

I love Penn Station for a few reasons. 1. Pizza Sub with italian sausage and mushrooms 2. Their Lemonade 3. Cooookiesss I love their fries also but I really come for those three things. It's what I order every time, and I doubt I will stray away from it. Now for this location it never is very busy unlike most Penn stations I go to. So that means the food is out to you very quickly. Usually the staff aren't thrilled about their job, but hey as long as they keep making my food I don't care. like stated by Brian their health inspections weren't the best, hopefully that changes.

I admit, I'm a big fan of Penn Station. I always get a Philly with mushrooms, banana peppers, and brown mustard. If I'm feeling extra courageous and have a container of Tums on my desk, I may splurge for pizza sauce as well. I've heard rumblings about this particular restaurant not scoring very good reviews at annual health inspections, but its no worse in appearance than most other restaurants I frequent. I come here often and always leave satisfied. Oh, and get a cookie. They're soft and have ginormous chunks of chocolate that will melt all over your hands. Then you get to enjoy it more as you're licking your hand. Mmm..cookie.

Probably the best fast-food chain restaurant or second best to Chipotle. Either way, we love Penn Station. The bread is a 5+, the quality of meats, veg, and cheeses are all 5 and the fries are just amazing. We go here at least twice a month and the whole family loves it. Even the lemonade and cookies are great.
