I sat at the bar and the highlight was the bartender Robert. He really had passion for where he worked and made a great impression with every customer. Food was good for the price and very good for a mid price chain. They get a 5 from me because they greatly exceeded my expectations tonight.

Rough start to the O'Charleys experience, but with a great recovery. Management within the company today was on fire to keep all of the guests happy. The server was amazing and very welcoming. If I had to recommend the dish that I had tonight I would only on the basis of getting the manager to cook the dish. Regardless..good food with the company of family is always a Terrific Thursday!

Great food ! Love the chicken tenders with the chips ! Beer was cold but bar tender was horrible , slow and not interested in serving us ! Major turn off ! Why be in the hospitality business with no personality !

I don't get too excited about casual dining chains, but my husband's boss rewards him with various restaurant gift cards, and who's going to turn down an opportunity for a free meal? We've been here twice in the past couple months. Our first time was great. I wish I could remember the server's name... she was very nice and attentive. I got the honey-drizzled chicken and my husband got the nine-ounce sirloin. We shared our sides with our toddler son, who was thrilled with the asparagus and the rolls. The most recent time we went wasn't as pleasant. We had the unfortunate experience of being put in Amy's* section. Amy was cranky because she'd just been seated a few minutes prior with a table of five, and then here we come with our two-year-old. I understand, Amy. It sucks. But it's Friday night and that's just tough toenails. Amy had a very nice server take and bring us our drink order, and then returned 10 minutes later with a lovely greeting: "What do you want to eat?" Nice to make your acquaintance, too. Our food was excellent. We both got sirloins and they were cooked perfectly. So kudos to the kitchen for that! But we got no refill on rolls or water, and not once did she say thank you. I left her a 10% tip, something I very rarely do. We'll be back with another gift card, but we'll request to sit in someone else's section. *Not her actual name. I don't want anyone to lose their job; I just can't believe how some servers act and expect customers to just smile and nod.

Yes, O'Charley's is a chain but the success of the individual restaurants is dependent on their management and staff. this one prepares consistently good food and like someone else mentioned, the salads are abundant and tasty. My favorite and one I get each time is the Southern Fried Chicken Salad with honey mustard dressing. But it's the staff. I've dined there quite often and every one who has waited on me has been exceptionally friendly and competent. Once, I had a cocktail delivered not exactly as I had ordered but kept it anyway even though the waitress insisted on getting me another. There was no need to waste it. No big deal. Life went on. Later in the meal, the manager came by as he normally does to inquire on how the dinner was and he mentioned that he had taken my cocktail off the bill. I was impressed with the wait staff and their communication with their management and then the fact there was follow-up with me! I have a lot of choices on where I can eat and I choose to eat where the food and service is good and they care about me as a customer. Richmond O'Charley's is like that.

Oh no, O'Charley's...This wasn't my first trip, but it may be my last for a long time. I visited this O'Charley's on my lunch break for a change of normal lunch atmosphere. My previous trips to this restaurant were great, so I had similar expectations from this trip. Sadly, I was very wrong. The service was slow and not helpful at all, and our server seemed grumpy the entire visit. The food came out quick, which was more due to the kitchen than our server, but even the food was sub-par. Cajun style anything should be spicy, not bland and tasteless as was our experience. The "bottomless rolls basket" which we were looking forward to was actually just one basket of bottomless disappointment. All in all, the entire experience left both of us with a terrible taste in our mouths (both metaphorically and realistically), and it will be quite a while before I come back here again.

I've been to this location a total of three times. The food is always good. Today, I had the loaded potato soup and Caesar salad. The taste was good, and it's easily the best national chain in town. They're a bit pricy but refills are part of the equation and some people may eat into their profit quite a bit. If there was a down side, it was the waitress' "oops" with my gift card. She returned to tell me that she could give me cash or I could give her cash. I never learned what she meant by the second option, but it's just as well as I don't need to return, even though I might. Surprisingly, no one asked if the meal was satisfactory, as the times I took my mum to meet her friends, the manager was standing over our shoulders quite often asking various things. We always had the feeling that they wanted us out before we even got the food.

Out of all the sit-down chain type restaurants such as Applebee's & Chili's, O'Charley's is easily my preferred choice. The food is just so much tastier here. I'm a fan of their made from scratch strawberry lemonades. It's fizzy and has big chunks of strawberries in it. I always feel bad when I order this because I end up getting like 5 refills. If you get the chance, come have brunch here on Sunday. It's pretty awesome. Service has always been great hear for me, and there is tons of seating. I don't think I've ever had to wait for a table, even when if I come on the weekend.

Finally had the chance to dine-in, and my opinion stays the same. This is a great for a chain restaurant. Nice clean interior and fast service. Again, prefer this place over Applebee's or Chili's any day.

Ordered Louisiana Steak. Very good even though spices were not distributed very well. Also the two steaks that were ordered medium arrived well done and medium-rare. Great taste, friendly and fast service. Probably the best Caesar Salad we have ever had. Manager apologetic and adjusted bill without us having to complain. Will be back:)
