I'm glad to have a variety of restaurants in Richmond and so I'm glad OinkADoodleMoo is here. That said, it wasn't so great. The atmosphere is cute and inviting. I had ribs without any sauce - just the dry rub. They tasted quite good while I was eating them, cooked well and fell off the bone nicely. But there was a strange aftertaste a couple of hours later - a smokey taste. Maybe they used liquid smoke to add the smokey flavor. Not sure, but it wasn't pleasant. That said, I'm writing this review the following day and I find myself looking forward to finishing the leftovers I brought home. The corn pudding was okay, but needed a little kick or something too it - kind of bland. The service was friendly enough, and efficient. The tables, floor and counter were clean. If someone wanted to go again, I wouldn't resist it. But I wouldn't choose it myself.

Horrible, overpriced, dry buns, not enough sauce, expensive and small servings. We will not go back

It was "ok". Had the brisket which was on the dry side and needed lots of extra sauce. I find it hard to believe this is the "Best of Dayton" or Cincy or wherever they're originally from. I went when they first opened so maybe they needed to work out some kinks. I will give it one more shot.

Blah. An hour later I was still trying to get the awful taste of this food out of my mouth. I wish I were exaggerating. There was a chemical taste to the ribs I could not identify, and I've been around food long enough that if I can't identify it, it's probably not food. The sides were okay, but all in all, we won't be going back.

ok, so I'm trying this new, "NO CARB" thing, not really a diet, just cutting out the carbs. So I'm with some friends and we decided to stop here. Glad we did. listening to others order in front of you, helps keeping the groove going. So, I hear, BBQ pulled pork sandwich, Brisket sandwich, sandwich, sandwich. Doesn't go good for my "NO CARB" pact I have with myself. So, I leaned in and quietly asked if I could order a few different meats, didn't want a sandwich. "Sure" they have a pick your meat plate. I tried the pulled pork, sliced beef brisket, and chicken. with some of their different homemade sauces on the side, I was set. All of the meats were delicious, tender and juicy. I have to say I was surprised it was as good as it was. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Loving the doodle moos! Those baby bakers are amazing! The turkey is lovely - it doesn't even need the sauce, really. But the sauces are good too. I like to get my turkey with no bun (its just better that way). My only problem is that most of the time, my "sliced" turkey is actually "bottom of the barrell bits and shreds and crumbs of turkey." But, its still tasty. Oh! And the best part!!! They have Barque's Red Cream Soda. Mmmmm.

On vacation and the family and I had to try Barbecue with a name like this! It was @ $9.00 for 3 small slider sandwiches. They were okay - but we prefer our Smokey Bones - and feel they're a better bargain to boot!

What a great find right off the interstate! Everyone in my party found something tasty (including my kiddos who ate kid meals)! The baby bakers were a big hit. Each person ate for about $6 each. The service was friendly and fast. The facility is very clean (looks brand new) and cutely decorated. The only reason I didn't give 5 star rating is that the salads were not amazing (mostly iceberg lettuce) although the shredded pork I added definitely stepped it up to the next level making it a good, tasty, filling meal! All in all, we were pleased. A very nice experience!

Well, sadly, the joy and delicious splendor this place brought to my life was short-lived. I have a fairly fantastic experience if I simply order a dry chicken sandwich with 1/2 sweet-1/2 spicy sauce on the side and baby bakers. THE BABY BAKERS ARE STILL AMBROSIA! The chicken is the only thing I've had so far that wasn't dry, tough, and bland. I had the brisket- don't bother. I did hear the brisket tips are better, though I haven't tried them yet. Over all, the sauces and meats are incredibly disappointing- something to be considered quite the failure when you're a BBQ joint. This isn't, can't be, would never be, the "BEST OF" anydangthing, ever, anywhere. I don't run when someone suggests it, but eating here is never a matter of my own volition. That said, let's be honest- no one suggests eating here anymore, unless we really, really need bakers.

Just OK. The baby bakers are delicious, but I was disappointed the the brisket tips on my sandwich were already sauced. I'd much prefer to dress it myself, and I didn't care for the sauce on it (plus there was no crispness to the bark after sitting in the sauce for so long, and the bark is why I order burnt ends!), so I probably would have gotten something else if I'd known.

I had seen OinkaDoodleMoo in Troy, but never had a chance to try it, so I was looking forward to checking it out when the Richmond location opened. Sadly, I found it to be a disappointing experience. The food was lukewarm and nearly tasteless aside from, as another reviewer stated, an odd chemical tang.
