I'm quite amazed that this restaurant wasn't listed on yelp, and that I had to manually add it myself! Wow-zas..... Anyway, my brother and girlfriend go to Earlham College in Richmond, and I'd heard tons of raves about this restaurant for ages from him. I went w/my parents to visit him and his girlfriend over the weekend, and talked them into taking me and my parents here. The server we had(think her name was Tanya, but not sure), was really friendly as heck. Not to mention, the fact that my brother knew her well, from past times dining here, made the experience even better(since she, herself, had also sometimes visited the restaurant in town where my brother was a server at). And of course, anyone who regularly or often dines at a restaurant, and are on a very friendly basis w/particular server(s), knows what that'll mean, such as the nice little extra perks you get........ :) Anyway, as the website mentions, it primarily serves sandwiches, but it also has a selection of burgers, pastas, and a few other types of food, too. Plus, I noticed it had a pretty darn good beer, AND wine selection, too(though I'm not really a fan of wine, and am more a beer guy, myself). The bar area(also called "Zini's Place", which has its own street entrance, and also is connected in the inside to the regular dining area), though it was closed off at the time I dined there, looked pretty nice too. I snuck into the bar area and took a good look at it, so I can vouch for it being nice. Whole place is completely non-smoking(including the bar area, or "Zini's Place"), but since I'm only an occasional smoker(and for the most part, don't smoke at restaurants, and only smoke at adult-only venues and bars/taverns), that didn't bother me much. Also shockingly, I loved the fact that this was the first time I'd ever had a DECENT Vanilla Coke in my entire life. (DON'T get me started on how much I HATE the bottled Vanilla Coke that's sold at convenience stores, and how many times I've drank Vanilla Cokes from restaurants using their own vanilla syrup, only for that syrup to be terrible.) Dunno what makes their syrups so good, but they definately use WAYYYY better soda syrup, than what most ordinary restaurants use. And I loved how they inserted tons of cherries into the Cherry Coke my dad got(the fact that our server put extra cherries into the soda, is what I mean by what I said above about extra perks w/servers, when you're(my brother, in this case) on great terms w/'em....). :) I'll sum up my review by saying that I'm amazed that such a unique + independent restaurant like this exists in a town the size of Richmond! (and that not every restaurant in town is some chain restaurant along one part of town, such as how the restaurant scene mostly is where I go to college, in the Bloomington/Normal, IL area).

What a great place! I'm not from Richmond, but decided to trust the yelpers out there. Little Sheba's gyro was fantastic. The service was great and the owners seem like wonderful people. An hour later I still can't believe my bill was only 15 dollars. I'll be back the next time I'm in town.

Thank you to everyone else who posted about this place. I am on a big road trip across the midwest and am doing my best to eat at local places and the reviews of this place were spot on. Fun vibe, HUGE Menu with lots of good food for very reasonable prices. I had the big mess sandwhich and it was great, my dad (current traveling companion) and the pork chop special and at it all so I think he liked it. Nothing fancy, just yummy. They have free wi-fi, and i will note that our server was very nice but not as present as I wanted her to be.

Had lunch there and the burger was great and the potato salad is definitely different but really tasty! Was busy today at lunch and the food still came out quickly and warm. Great experience and will definitely return to try another burger!

The burger is almost worth the drive from Columbus ;-) friendly staff and great food. Bowl of chili as appetizer was pretty good as well. This will be the the spot to stop when heading west from now on.

I met some friends here for lunch. I was early, so I walked around the block. This is a great district downtown with a bunch of well preserved old brick buildings. There are several places worth visiting. Little Sheba's is primarily a sandwich shop and what wonderful sandwiches! It will be difficult to decide what to order - the selection is quite large and there are many creatively designed sandwiches to choose from. I had the Dirty Rotten Scoundrel - ham and turkey with green pepper and pineapple with their special sauce served on pita bread - wonderful warm, fresh pita bread. The Scoundrel is delicious and I am pretty confident you've never had something like this before. Beyond the sandwiches they have dinner specials and pizza. They have a large patio for outdoor seating and the same people appear to own the adjacent bar.

Absolutely AMAZING! I found this place on Yelp. I was looking for something off the beaten path with good reviews. I drove 50 minutes and across a state line for the sole purpose of coming here. So, upon arriving, they already had a big job ahead of them. We were immediately invited to seat ourselves. In less than 2 minutes our server approached and began to take our drink order. She was very kind and helpful. She easily made us feel welcome. One of the absolute BEST parts about Little Sheba's is that they have Diet Vanilla Coke on fountain! It was amazing. They have typical soft drinks and a full bar service. Drinks were returned so quickly we had to ask for extra time. The menu had so many things we wanted to try that it took us a few minutes to decide. After finally placing our order, we waited less than 10 minutes for an appetizer to arrive. It was hot, and incredibly delicious. Our main entrees were delivered less than 10 minutes after that. We were very impressed. They were not swamped but definitely busy. Our server was great. She was attentive and very on top of everything we needed. Little Sheba's is quite the drive for dinner but we have not one single complaint about our experience. 2 Adult entrees, 2 sodas, an appetizer and a kids combo meal and we were out under $35 including a generous tip. We will definitely be returning.

My family and I just had a fantastic lunch at Little Sheba's. The service was excellent and the owner even came by to say hi and spent some time talking to us. The menu had a wide variety of options. We each got something different and everyone enjoyed their meal. We shared an order of kettle chips before our meal and they were great too. Glad we stopped in this top notch local restaurant for lunch today. We'll definitely be back whenever we're in town. There were a few other dishes I wanted to try!

Great small town food!

Great home town and depot atmosphere. Original food only to little shebas. Greek pizza is great. Cokes are great. Live music is too loud sometimes.

My daughter was visiting Earlham College and part of her quest was to determine whether a Texas girl like her could make it in a small town in Indiana. Besides the wonderful follks at Earlham, she was heartened that she could grab a bite to eat in Richmond. As a vegetarian, she wasn't sure what her options would be off-campus, but Little Sheba's has put her at ease. We started with the Bosco Sticks - my goodness, what a delicious feast of delirious cheesy carboliciousness! We went with the waitress's suggestion to try them with butter/garlic. We did, but I'm now wondering what they are like with the marinara (next time!). I ordered "Brooke's I Don't Eat Meat" with potato salad. My daughter ordered "Mark Mader's Veggie Burger" but went with no cheese and regular mustard. She also had the potato salad. First, let's echo some of the other reviews - both me and my daughter agreed that this is the BEST potato salad either of us have ever had. Even better than mom's. My girlie loved the veggie burger and expressed excitement that she has a place to get a good veggie burger in Richmond (she is giving an enthusiastic "yes, I'm coming to Earlham", so this is important!). My sandwich was delicious. I wish I could carry it back here to Austin, TX. I love the mixture of the feta cheese (which was creamier and less salty that the feta I find at our local middle eastern grocery in austin) with the olives and pepperoncini (called "mild peppers" on the menu, but I recognized them). The ambience is warm and enticing. I enjoyed looking around. The Depot District is just hands-down cute. We enjoyed walking around after our delicious lunch. Little Sheba's will be a staple when we visit our daughter in college and we both agreed that it will be a sure hit with grandparents. Thanks!

Had a great time. Very accommodating for a group of 9. Great local brews. Food pizza and sandwiches where very good as well.
(4)Sam S.
Great place! Try the Sheba Burger. Good food good service. I will be back any time I am in Richmond.
(5)Margery S.
I had high expectations from other yelp reviewers and local residents. The service was very friendly and very fast. I ordered the chicken Gyro that one yelp reviewer had mentioned. I did find the potato salad very interesting: I think it had pickled watermelon in it. I wish the chicken Gyro had more ingredients in it. It was mostly the bread and chicken with honey mustard sauce. Prices were reasonable.

I lived in Richmond when I was a kid and I still remember eating here. Ever since, every time I'm in Richmond, I ALWAYS stop at Little Sheba's. It's one of those little hole-in-the-wall places that is just so delicious, your life is never the same. I always get the Spoiled Rotten Brat, which is so good, my mouth is watering right now at the thought of it. I also usually get the pasta salad with it, which is also worth an entire trip to get. If you're ever in Richmond for any reason, do yourself a favor and stop here. They have something for everyone.

My time with Little Sheeba's lasted about 7 months spanning from Fall '13 to Spring '14. Little Sheeba's is a local "All-American" bar/restaurant. It checks all the boxes, from the spooky Halloween decor to the possibly defunct food truck. My first visit was on accident. My brother took me there after meaning to take me to the now gone "Pete's Cafe", formerly across the street. Richmond is a small, post industrial town, and the discovery of a local restaurant appeared to be a great find. It comes complete with obnoxious musicians and karaoke nights, as if these were not all available next door in one of the many bars in the depot district. The next week I took my girlfriend out to dinner there, and we were seated and waited on by a charming waiter who recommended the Greek Pizza and specifically recommended getting a SIDE of tzatziki (greek yogurt) sauce. The pizza was good, although a few dollars more than what I would have expected. The tzatziki sauce was incredibly important, because the pizzas are a bit greasy, salty, and yet somehow bland. The tzatziki sauce is one of the few redeeming qualities to the Greek Pizza. I talked with this waiter about Greek and American food, and it was clear that he, like myself, was passionate about food. Unfortunately, much of the menu is not up to the price it commands. Many of the sandwiches are overdone and yet boring. Everything is $3-4 too much. There are tons of offerings, all with "fun" names, none of which have anything to do with the food. Despite all of this, it was the best time we ever had at Little Sheebas. Since then, we have returned to Little Sheeba's in the hopes of finding to our first waiter. However, we have never seen him again, and instead usually found to an empty entry area. If we are seated at all, it is usually in a loud or cold space. It makes both my girlfriend and me uncomfortable and feel like second-class patrons. Other nights we seat ourselves and eventually flag down a waitress who seems practically annoyed by our presence there. There often is only one waitress, and getting service can take a while. The wait for the food can be long as well, probably because the food gets brought out by one of the cooks, who are usually around the restaurant and not cooking for other customers. You have to ask for refills and mistakes are common in our orders. This means that getting our food as we asked ends up taking precedence over the rest of our evening. Meanwhile, getting a check can be quite a wait, as we watch other customers take orders and hope that whatever cook brought our food is getting a fair tip as well. Every visit since our first has been slightly more disappointing. This is a restaurant to visit once, and never again. They have what is called a "captive audience", one that desires local food at any cost (price, quality of service). I don't blame the waitress nor the cooks. Having worked in a similar restaurant myself, it is clear that they are understaffed and under poor management. I hope for the sake of the patrons that they hire more staff, reduce unfavorable seating, and limit the menu to a few core dishes you can do uniquely and well. Goodbye Little Sheeba's, I should have stopped while you were ahead.
(2)Barbara S.
Super good sandwiches, quick service, friendly staff, outside seating, sunny and 75 - what more could you ask.
(4)Jill V.
Considering the type of restaurant, I had expected to easily find several vegetarian options on the menu. Nope. I ended up with a fancy macaroni and cheese dish, which was quite tasty. My sister ordered the bottomless spaghetti, though, and didn't even make it to the bottom of the first plate - she said the sauce was mediocre and disappointing. In retrospect, I also wish we had requested to sit at a booth; the high table and stools we were seated at ended up being rather uncomfortable for the duration (and business was light that evening, so there were plenty of booths available -- not sure why we weren't seated at one by default).
(3)Pat R.
Fun list of sandwiches with inventive names and ingredients. Had the Rueben and Fort Wayne steak hoagie with mushroom gravy. Intrugued by the steak hoagie with mozzarella and pizza sauce.. Tasty sandwiches and beans. Pretty good potato salad. Excellent hotdog for our four-legged fellow travelers. Couldnt sit on the official patio with them, but there were concrete tables out front that worked just fine. Good service too.

I've hit this place 15 times in past 18 months. My standard lunch joint if near the area. Great burgers - love love love Farley, Ignoramus and the Sheba. They let you tinker with the toppings to make it your own. Wife get the reuben or stupid idiot. Once was disappointed with the chili nachos and hasn't reordered (watery chili - got soggy quick). Worth the time to find it if not familiar with Richmond off the interstate exits - but not far at all from 27/I-70 interchange. Go there! (good tater salad too)

Great space, yummy food, friendly staff and great prices! We'll be back Little Sheba's.

Fabulous haven for a frightened, tornado-avoiding couple from MI just here to pick up some DVDs from a local manufacturer! In a hundred year old downtown building, Little Sheba's, like everywhere in Richmond, has a friendly, warm staff that makes you feel like you're among friends. Their bar has been in for only a year but like all small town local bars, the drinks are strong! I had a couple of 7&7's and that tornado-y weather was a fuzzy memory by the time we got back on the road to go back north (I was the passenger- the driver only drank Diet Coke!). One of us had the Dani's Reuben: "Loads of corned beef, Swiss cheese, and kraut. Topped with Thousand Island dressed. Served on Dark Rye bread." He says: "YUMMY! Good corned beef, quite filling." He also had the homemade potato salad, which he ate first and enjoyed immensely. I had the Freddy's Back: "Loads of turkey, roast beef, and Swiss cheese. Topped with lettuce, tomato, bacon and mayo. Served on Dark Rye bread." It was absolutely delicious! We shared the baked Jalapeno Poppers, which were tasty and marvelous. We will be back! This time we will not go on a tornado day!

This is my favorite joint in Richmond. Great food and decent prices. I always try different sandwiches on the menu. So far, I think the flame thrower is my favorite. Roast beef, cheese, bacon, and jalapenos. The spoiled rotten brat is also delicious. I always order it with mustard instead of bleu cheese - but it comes with turkey and ham on a sub - it's pretty basic but it's really good. The itallian stallion and the airhead are also favorites. The airhead is MESSY though - cream cheese and bbq sauce. I went thru half a dozen napkins. My absolute favorite thing on the menu are the bosco sticks. Those things are phenomenal. I love this place.
(5)Mary S.
This is a Richmond institution. My favorite sandwich is the Miss Girdley's Greek Turkey and you have to try their potato salad! It it located in the historic depot district. Parking can be tough when there is an event going on but usually isn't a problem. They sometimes have live music too which is always nice.
(4)Jen S.
Little Sheba's has a great menu. Lots of different sandwich choices that you don't see anywhere else. They have a new patio area too which is nice. Love the potato salad!
(4)Michael V.
Decent place to grab a sandwich for lunch. The food is just "OK", but it has a nice small town diner feel. My colleague and I ate at several places while we were working in Richmond, and this pace offered an overall good experience.
(3)Chris G.
A standard of Richmond, and a place you need to make a trip to even if you're just passing through town! The menu is fun and filled with delicious items, some named after well known people of Richmond. The sandwiches are creatively structured, the pizzas are mouthwatering, and the atmosphere is fun for any age. Most weekend nights Little Sheba's also hosts live music in the back room, and every Thursday they hold a trivia night event which is very fun!
(4)Joshua G.
I've been here lots cause it is a staple of Richmond, and honestly I've had good and bad experiences. But! most of them were good. Of the bad experiences it was usually with service. It seems to me that this place is always busy so the servers sometimes lack because they know they will have people there no matter what and are slow with refills and attentiveness. The food of course is still great. I love all of the sandwiches here and the potato salad is great. Great building and location too. So nice that they use this building instead of building a new one on national road like so many of the new chain restaurants in Richmond are doing. They also have live music here which is really cool. It's definitely a must try if you're in Richmond and need to grab lunch or bring friends for dinner cause there is plenty of room.
(4)Mia M.
I like Little Sheba's. Like many people have pointed out, it's one of the few decent places in Richmond. Mostly everything else is a chain or dirty and crappy... or both. Anyway, there's a ton of seating. I've never had to wait to get a seat... but I have waited a long time to be acknowledged by the servers. It's hit or miss. They LOVE men, so if you're a guy and go in there with your buddies, expect excellent service. However, they can be a little slow getting to anyone else and checking back, at least from what I've experienced. My (female) cousin and I went there for lunch awhile back and a group of firefighters came in after we did... let's just say we were not at the top of the priority list once Richmond's Finest was there. I had a similar experience when I went there with my mom. But the food is excellent. I usually order Dani's Reuben or Don Ho's Hawaiian chicken sandwich... always with the potato salad. And I agree with Allan about the vanilla Coke... I don't know what kind of syrup they use, but it's magical. Minus one star for iffy service and being closed on Sunday (WTF, Sheba?!). Four stars because the food is great, the portions are huge and the prices are decent. Little Sheba's puts Richmond on the map.

It's my last day in Indiana so my bf and I managed to convince his parents that we wanted to dine out for lunch (to which they very hesitantly agree lol) and i read reviews that this place was good. I'm thinking, it's only 3 reviews...but 2 of them are Elites...maybe I should trust their judgement. So I do. Good call on my part. It's easy to find, quick parking, and we get seated by this lovely waitress who reminds me of those moms you see on TVs that are really cheery and very very hospitable. I instantly felt at home. We get seated and she's quick to get our drinks. Since I didn't know what to get, she recommended a Garden-burger if I was looking for something "light" but I told her "Oh no, please, what's tasty that you would personally recommend?" She recommends Matt's Chicken Gyro and my bf (having been on a non-red-meat-diet) instantly orders the Dirty Rotten Scoundrel. MATT'S CHICKEN GYRO $5.99 (with Potato Salad side) DELICIOUS. The description read "flavorful grilled chicken gyro strips topped with honey mustard, lettuce, and tomatoes, all stuffed in a grilled pita". It's exactly that except she forgets to mention how absolutely well all the ingredients complemented each other. I felt like I ate a really healthy meal packed with flavor. In addition, she also recommended their famous potato salad. There's something extra in that potato salad that really brings out the tomato and also adds a little crunch and tangyness to the salad. Delish. Can't stress that enough. DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDREL - $5.99 (with side of chips) Like the description, it's "lots of ham, turkey topped with pineapples, green peppers, bacon, and Sheba's special sauce, all on grilled pita bread." I tell ya, that special sauce is what made this sandwich so good! That and the prominent bacon in it too. (I swear my boyfriend is convinced that bacon is the best thing given to man by God. You ever watch Will Smith's "I am Legend"? And there's this scene where his female guest cooks the bacon and he goes all nuts and yells "I WAS SAVING THAT BACON!!!"....and up to now I never understood why bacon was that damn good. My bf's kinda like Will Smith in that sense.) He says that despite all the meat, the pita bread with the veggies really brings out the best bite. I had a bite of his juicy sandwich but I still preferred my awesome chicken gyro one better. :) SHEBA'S KILLER BROWNIE (large) - $3.99 It's killer large, and killer good. Very rich in chocolate yet still not too sweet where it hurts the throat. In addition, it's homemade, which made the taste all the more better. And btw, when it says, huge, it's HUGE. (see picture). That brownie was almost a 6-in-square! Oh and they put two cherries on top. cute ;) All in all, when I do visit Richmond again, I would definitely come back and even try to convince the conservative parents to come too. Best part? PRICE. Almost all the sandwiches are $5.99 - $6.50. And they aren't small sandwiches either. It's enough to satiate your empty tummy. I promise. The most expensive thing on the menu was a steak dish, it was I believe, $11.49. Definitely bang for buck!
(5)Leslie V.
I had the portobello mushroom sandwich. Mouth-watering good! Excellent place that is vegetarian friendly. I will definitely be going back and recommending to friends. The only downside, parking can be hard to find!
(4)Roderic R.
It's more of a 4.5, but I preferred to give it a 5 due to the wide variety of sandwiches and their unique nature. The pizza is just ok, and the specialty pizza is WAY overpriced ($26 for a large Greek pizza). There is a lot of variety in the sandwiches, but also in the appetizers, salads, and a few solid desserts. Everyone can get what they want - and it will be good - at Little Sheba's. I'm sure we will be back many times.
(5)Hope D.
To me, this seems like a well kept secret in a small industrial town...but I noticed the locals that frequent this place are mostly the well-to-do families of the city. Everyone in the place knew each other. I'm not used to that. The food was pretty great! I'm always up for a great unique grilled-cheese sandwich. The beer was cheap, but then again so is the cost of living in Richmond. I loved the atmosphere and I especially loved the historic neighborhood! So cool! My only complaint? The live music was pretty terrible, but that in no way affects my star rating. I would definitely recommend this place!
(4)Cat M.
Really excellent sandwiches served fresh out of the kitchen. Quick friendly service, best if you eat there, but take out is fine, too. One of the best BLT's ever, no soggy bacon here! The Italian Stallion sub is served hot, the melted mozzarella makes the sandwich downright dreamy! No french fries, though. You can pick Ruffles potato chips (boring) or potato salad (highly recommended, but prefer fries or o-rings), or cottage cheese (blech! I love cottage cheese, just not as a sandwich side). Just wish they had french fries, and/or onion rings, that would make the place five stars! They do serve mozzarella sticks and jalapeno poppers, so its not like they don't have french fry capabilities, they need to add them to the menu already. I need me some fries with my sandwich! Parking is also a pain, sometimes have to do a few rounds around the block to find a space. The lot that is attached to the building only parks 6 or 7 cars and you will likely end up parking on the street.
(4)Nicole B.
We stopped here on the way to Ohio from Illinois. We wanted something different than the normal stops. Their website boasted their amazing menu and we knew we found our place! Food was delicious and we were able to enjoy a cocktail and listen to some nice live music! Staff was nice and quick, and the atmosphere was really enjoyable. Would definitely recommend!
(5)Jeffery D.
Great sandwiches. I have my favorites (I'm looking at you Stupid Idiot), but I like trying new things there, too.
(4)Ed M.
Have eaten at Little Sheba's several times. This review is for the last visit, April 27th. Little Shelba's now has local entertainment in the room called Zini's Place. Zini's is actually through an opening with there being a half wall the rest of the way to separate the two. Zini's is the bar portion but you get drinks on the Little Sheba's side. Unfortunately the act we went to see had gotten sick that day but they had a replacement duo. We both had their signature Reuben which may not be the absolute best in the world but has to be in the top ten percent. I had the potato salad side which was good but not outstanding. The other party had the pasta salad which was described as very good. We both had the local beer, New Boswell brown ale. This beer has the look of tea but has a nice strong taste without being overbearing. We were there at 6:00 pm on a Friday and the place was busy but not packed. It is a diverse crowd as it is the other times I have been there. The atmosphere is that of an old time, small restaurant. The decor is locally themed. There are people who insist on eating at Little Sheba's when they come to Richmond. I can see why. The service is good despite what some others have said. The cost is reasonable and the other items I have had on the menu are equally as good. Yes I would recommend Little Sheba's
(5)Travis S.
This gem of a restaurant is nestled on a corner in the Depot District, lots of antique shopping and a handful of bars up and down the street. Sheba's has lots of seating; there's a bar attached with TVs and then a proper restaurant (no TVs, thankfully). I ordered a Greek Gyro (on the advice of other Yelpers) from their broad sandwich and pizza options. Everything had very sassy and clever names and all reasonably priced. My gyro came with a pickle and a side (I had the pasta salad). There's a full bar and wine, but I ordered a beer. The beer list is pretty standard, nothing too inspired, but it does offer brews like Goose Island and Stella. The table next to me ordered pizza and it smelled great. In nice weather there's a couple tables on the sidewalk outside. All in all, a lovely and economical dining experience.
(4)Anthony H.
Little Shebas has excellent sandwiches. That is all. I have been there 4 or 5 times since I've moved to Richmond. I cannot believe that no one has commented on how bad the service is here. The servers are rude, oblivious, and slow. The servers made me feel as though I was a burden to them. I should note, however, that I have always sat in the Bar area. The live music is enjoyable, when it's there.
(3)Kelly S.
First of all, let it be said that the menu at Little Sheba's is huge. And everything is pretty cheap. I really enjoyed the dinner I had here last night. I got the Sheba Burger and was duly impressed. The pizza looked good, too. I think it's a good place in Richmond, and I'll definitely go back. It's a good spot for a college student.
(3)Peter G.
The best dining spot in Richmond. Bar none. More than likely you're just passing through Richmond (you're not missing much), but if you're hungry this is the place to go. I ate here a lot years ago and never had something I didn't like.
(5)Karhma D.
It's been a few years since I've been to Little Sheba's, but from what I remember, it was really good. I ate meat back then, & had the gyro. I loved their tzatziki sauce & it came with a delicious kosher dill. The place kind of reminds me of a deli gone Greek. Inexpensive prices too. I've heard they have really good soups, but I have never tried them.I love the exposed brick interior walls of the building.
(4)Brandon S.
I totally agree with Allan, Little Sheeba's is an awesome restaurant and one of the only things that I miss about my unsuccessful three month stint living in Richmond. My personal favorite was the Dirty Rotten Scoundrel - ham and turkey with pineapple, green pepper, bacon and some kind of secret sauce on pita bread. I also had their burgers a couple times and they were really good. The salads are good, the soup is good, the rest of the sandwiches are good, the deserts are good, etc. etc. It's all good. If it wasn't in Richmond frigging Indiana, Little Sheeba's would be one of my favorite restaurants period. I don't know if I'll ever be back to Richmond, but if I do, Little Sheeba's will be my first stop.
(5)Josephine A.
The menu at Little Sheba's has tons of options, including vegetarian and healthier options. The Greek-style pizza is delicious. The prices are good and everything I've ordered has tasted great! Service can take forever during lunch time, though--something to keep in mind if you want to grab a quick bite.
(3)David S.
Good food. Jody was a really good waitress but was really busy and still did a good job. good atomsphere.
(4)Cara S.
I had a great experience here. I searched yelp looking for a place to stop for dinner on a drive from st. Louis to new York. Little Sheba was right off the highway and well in our price range. The service was very personal and there was a surprising amount of variety on the menu. Food was delcious and fast. I only givebit four stars because the gyro I got was really small and didn't fill me up. But still, it tasted fresh and quite good.

We stopped by on our way home from New York. Great restaurant with yummy food. We tried the astrophysicist and the Italian stallion, both were delicious! When I walked in I was greeted by a friendly owner and a helpful staff. We will definitely stop by again if in the area.

Amazing service, the kettle chips were great, and the pizza and BLT tasty. Certainly worth going to again.

I've been coming here for years. During my last visit on 9/8 I was very disappointed. I ordered a turkey burger. In the past it was a freshly made burger. This time it was a frozen processed patty. I was not impressed. Clearly the quality of the food is going down. The atmosphere is great, but next time I'll eat somewhere else.

The burgers are usually great as are some of the other sandwiches. The service is ok. I don't like it when they send the cooks out with the food in their greasy old t shirts, which has happened more than once. I don't like the weekend evenings there because it gets loud with music. For those who like that I'm sure it's great but it's not my thing. The last time we were in (3 months ago) they had live music AND the radio going at the same time. We couldn't hold a conversation. I haven't been back.

They prices go up but the quality has gone down. Everything seems to have been fixed by 16 year old cooks or straight out of a Sysco can. Needs someone to straighten out the kitchen. Invest in kitchen equipment other than a small stove and a microwave!

A great little local place. The menu is huge so there's bound to be something for everyone! Personally, I love their pizzas! The Bugsy BBQ is also good! If you're a cherry Coke or cherry Sprite drinker, it'll come complete with maraschino cherries. Theyfe even got a good kid's menu! Beware! If you go during busy times (lunch or at night when there's live music) parking can be a bit difficult so don't be surprised if you have to drive around a bit to find a spot.

For starters I had the Jive Turkey Burger which was a premade frozen pattie. Second The waitress, while not unfriendly, was very much in a hurry and we felt rushed. Other than that the food was OK, not great, not bad.

We stopped for a late lunch. The food was ok. The atmosphere seemed kind of sports bar - just not our thing.

One of the best sandwich shops in Indiana. Unique menu which never disappoints. A must if your near Richmond.

My family stopped for dinner at Little Shebas after a long day's drive on New Year's Eve. The place was warm and inviting with live music and friendly staff. Hard to decide what to order, but with help from our waitress, Kim, we made our selections. The food was delicious...burgers, pulled pork, veggie gyro, Greek pizza-all very satisfying. When Kim found out we had Richmond roots and had travelled a long way to visit, she brought out extra sides for us to try. The potato salad was especially yummy. The owner, Steve, also sent out warm brownies with ice cream to help us celebrate the new year on the road with our two teens. So kind. A welcome over and above any expectations. Really made our visit memorable.

Thank you, Yelp, for pointing out this fantastic location. Adorable place with a fantastic and expansive sandwich menu. I had trouble deciding what to get... Greek pizza won out, and I have zero regrets about the choice. I thought I saved room for dessert, but I can't believe the size of the Peanut Butter Brownie! If you can go during the Christmas Festival, Santa will stop by to say Hello. What a great memory! Definitely read the history on the back of the menu. This story is what makes the place such a great find.

If anyone is visiting Richmond from out of town, Little Sheba's is always the place I recommend. They have endless sandwich options with fun names that'll make you giggle like a little girl. They often have live music here as well which is always a nice added touch. I do have to downgrade them one star for the service. The waitresses are great at what they do and super friendly, there's just not enough of them. When you have 30-40 tables in a restaurant, you just got to have more than 2-3 people working. I would love to visit here for lunch, but I know I would never make it out in time. I would be here a heck of a lot more if the service was quicker.

When I think of the area around the train depot, I either think of getting on a train to Virginia as a child or I think of the drunks and druggies but I never think of successful businesses. Walking into this restaurant brought back memories of Sylvania's at a time when it was pretty much the only thing on Fort Wayne Avenue that wasn't trouble. Little Sheba's tells me that's all gone and that the area is successful, and that's pleases me to no end. It's still not that comfortable for me in the area. So, I decided to try it again, having been there once since 2008. That time, it was so packed, it seemed almost difficult to find air. That's a great thing. This time, at almost 2 p.m., there weren't many customers at all. I had to really read the menu and settled on the Italian Stallion Sub. $7.99 is a bit more than say, Penn Station, but I hoped that it would be worth it. It came with a side item such as chips, cole slaw, or apple sauce. The waitress really took time to explain things, which was great, since I had no idea. I was pleased that they had Raspberry Iced Tea, also. The tea was good. The sandwich seemed a bit salty, for whatever reason. The seemed to have used a sandwich press on it to heat and flatten it a bit. The size of the roll was a bit smaller than expected (no, I didn't have a Subway-bound tape measure!) but the taste was good, despite the extra saltiness. The dill pickle spear was crunchy, as it should be, and the chips were bagged, which isn't so terrible--they're often served that way in Philly. I came away with a good feeling about the whole experience. It's no wonder they're popular.
