Very disappointed! Visited on a busy Friday evening around 9:30. The place was loud and it felt like it was being run by a bunch of high schoolers. Our server was obnoxious. It felt like she memorized a script and said everything in a "valley girl" tone. We noticed she said the same spiel to each table. The food was awful. I've been to other locations and always enjoyed the food. The only thing I liked was the side salad. I had the steak tips and it was like chewing on rubber. It all tasted like it was stale and sat around all day. Ribs were very dry. Just yuck all the way around. Then to top it all off the servers get together and start line dancing. So cheesy. Other guests around us look annoyed too. We're in a restaurant not a country line dancing bar. We won't return to this location for sure.

We went there a month after it opened..loong wait. Too much hype. They can't cook a medium ribeye...came out rare, they sent it back twice...finally came back..well done..wtf? I got that meal for free...we won't be back. Ribs were ok tho.

This place was not bad, not great but I am not complaining. The server seemed to be in a huge rush which bothers me. I may come back here, but I probably wont. The beers seemed to be overpriced for a Miller Lite. On the positive side my steak was cooked very well!

Terrible company culture. Awful management. Train your managers to deal with customer issues properly. Humiliating and degrading the employees isn't effective.

Its just like a Texas Corral, but their staff dances when a certain song is played through out the restaurant. Soon as I heard the certain song get loud through out the place, I was like WTF is going on till I seen the staff started to dance, lol. I had their Sirloin steak & ribs combo with steak fries, chili on the side and their sweet tea. Their steak was A-Ok, ribs & steak fries were decent, the chili & sweet tea was good. Service was good. Now if you want that Texas feel and craving a steak, I would just head over to Longhorn. And if your craving some mouth watering ribs, then go to Wagner ribs, I never been but I only heard & read very good things about it. So I NEED to visit them very soon...

I have been to several of the chains and the Portage location is a nice addition. I strongly prefer it over Texas Corral based on the quality of the steak. The loaded sweet potato and loaded baked potato are excellent and the chili is also good. I wish they were open for lunch.

My initial review of this place was very good. That was all up until I saw the video posted on Facebook of the EMPLOYEES dancing ON THE TABLES in the restaurant!! That's right people, think about that next time you're sitting there eating your dinner...someone's dirty, filthy shoes have been stomping all over that table you're eating on! GROSS!! And to boot, the manager of the place was there, watching (video taping) and encouraging this behavior the whole time! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL Texas Roadhouse!! You should all be ashamed of yourselves!

Visit Date & Time: Sunday Jan 27th 5PM. Wanting to try out the Texas Roadhouse since day of opening, I called my neighbor to join me and brave the wintry ice storm to try some new local dining. Upon our arrival I noticed the large outside waiting area which was equipped with heating elements and a sound system. Nice!!! As we entered, we were greeted by several young ladies and were asked if we would like the bar top or a booth. We chose the booth and was seated in the bar area next to the kitchen entrance. When our server approached the table for our drink order, I asked if they have any drink specials. They do not have any drink specials on Sundays and I didn't ask if it was that way everyday. Will update. After viewing the menu, I could not decide between the 21oz bone in ribeye or the prime rib. I thought to myself that I better start small since this was my first visit. I will start off with the 10oz sirloin w/ side salad and steak fries. The server, without me asking, said that with side salad is topped with egg, cheese, home-made croutons, tomatoes and is that acceptable. To ask a consumer on such a simple item is not only catering to their small wants but also can be cost effective for the restaurant. I don't care for tomatoes and why waste them... My neighbor went all in and ordered the 16oz prime rib. After several minutes the waitress came back and said they are out of prime rib. He had to reselect his dinner choice as I was super glad I did not go all in and order the prime rib. Although the menu does state to check for availability, I think in the future the server should check before letting a diner order it then told its not available. He chose the ribeye and 1/2 slab combo with baked potato and seasoned corn. THE FOOD: Long story short with my neighbor, he loved the ribs, ribeye(med rare cooked as ordered) and sides. No complaints. Me... My medium steak was cooked as ordered. Was it the best I ever had??? Its a freaking unseasoned sirloin. What do you expect??? Some salt, ketchup and steak sauce will jazz that up. Hopefully as I move up the menu the condiments will not be needed. My salad was delicious. Love the added egg and cheese. Steak fries were soggy. Seemed like they were reheated??? Maybe next time I will request that they place them on a separate plate and cook them several minutes longer. Rolls and butter were great. Endless supply of peanuts(wasn't sure if I could pitch the shells on the floor). Overall I was satisfied with the food. THE SERVICE: Our server Brittany was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We were also approached by management several times asking if the service and food was satisfactory. No complaints!!! Thank you!!!

It was exactly what I expected. Yes, there was loud music and dancing servers but that's Texas Roadhouse. Our steak was cooked perfectly. Our server, Joanne, was prompt with great timing and everything was very tasty.

The waitress, although really bad at service, was polite, cordial, and honest (which is rare around here). But her apologies didn't fix the fact it took ten minutes to get a server to order drinks. We ordered an appetizer of boneless wings with drinks. Upon her getting our drink order for a second time, we ordered our main courses. After a couple minutes our drinks came, the drinks were given to the wrong people at our table, no biggie. Our salads came and they were fresh and delicious, the best part of my meal. By this time i noticed i didn't have my wings. Well after our waitress stopped by our table to tell us our food would be out soon, we asked where the wings were, she forgot them. Oh well. But then my steak came. I ordered a 8 oz sirloin medium. So did someone else at the table. What i got was crispy mediocre fries, and a well done, under-seasoned quality piece of meat. I had to tell the manager that everything else is just an inexperienced wait staff, but the steak was a deal-breaker. At a steakhouse, you expect to get a quality cut, cooked with skill. What i got was shameful, whoever cooked that should be fired.

Decided to try this place after previously being disappointed. Unfortunately the experience was worst and I will not be returning. The cold steak was extremely dry and under seasoned, and my daughter's hamburger tasted as if 3x the salt was loaded on it.the server was unfriendly and appeared to not want to be at work. Lastly the unprofessional and rude manager asked every table around us about their experiences and did not acknowledge us at all. Fortunately, there are more establishments nearby to patronize.

I have never sent a meal back, until tonight. I ordered The Pulled Pork Dinner, which was brought ice cold after several orders were brought with numerous errors. I bit into a piece of cold hard grease. I pulled it out and looked at a piece of hard dried grease. I sent it back. The taste was so disgusting that I could not continue my meal. The manager., an arrogant condescending child, came to the tasked and demanded to know why I sent it back. I explained about about the grease and the cold temperature and I was accused of lying in that there was no way for me to have been served a chunk of grease. I won't be back. The management needs a serious lesson in customer service. The service management and food were deplorable.

I loved everything I ordered but know then next time to order one level up on the doneness of my steak... Could have been cooked a bit more for my liking... I ordered med-well and it was more like med-rare... but still delicious and tender.... definitely will go here again....

SALT SALT SALT!! Everything was way over salted. I thought I was exaggerating when I thought they rolled their baked potatoes in salt but manager verified this is what they do. Fried pickles...cooked in salt.

This place is awesome! The rolls with the Cinnamon butter that you get as you are seated are the beast. I always get the bacon cheeseburger and it I perfect every time. Only down fall to this place is that I can't ever find a parking spot when they are busy!

I think the sirloin is some of the best I've had anywhere. The service is always friendly and the beer cold. The one and only thing I can say is wrong is food temperature. The food more than not is Luke warm when it gets to you. It's not something you should have to do in asking them to heat it up again. Other than that it's a decent place.
