I definitely prefer Popeyes over KFC as I like things spicier and prefer their sides. This location is fairly new so the property is fresh and clean. Things were pretty busy when we arrived bit the line moved quickly and food was ready about minutes after ordering. Food was prepared properly and delicous. Staff was friendly and attentive. This location will provide an above average experience.

Worst place,I've tried to come here 3x since they open, all I ever hear "sorry we are out of that/this an that,or it'll be a 10 minute wait"people is chicken that complicated, from now on I'll chose to go spend $30 on a meal at KFC before I attempt to return here....

Went back recently, after going inside and nobody in drive through or at counter I got greeted the loud 'welcome back to popeyes' and thought, wow, I'll get some good food and service today...but instead the people behind counter just went about business, one even came out to clean/fix soda machine, they all talked to each other, but nobody asked if they could help...after over two minutes, I slowly sauntered out the side door by soda machine...but didn't hear anyone greet me 'come back to popeyes'....not a peep! WOW!

Ordered in drive thru, waited for 10 minutes and line never moved. Wish I could review more but this was the extent of my visit. Waste of time. Management, please advise.

I really like the food and atmosphere of this restaurant chain. The service is friendly and the food is tasty at a great price!

Each time we've been, we have been missing an item. It's laughable. ... and their tenders aren't tenders, it's a thin sliced boneless breast and they end up being overcooked and dry. A meal with tenders is much, much less food than a meal with bone-in pieces.

Bottom of the barrel. Hey manager with the glasses and smart phone. Instead of sitting at your desk maybe you should get up and help your crew make food. A customer should not have to wait 20 minutes for their order. Especially if that customers gets cold fries. How you got your position is curious thought. Hope you don't make 15$ an hour, otherwise all paying customers are domed to have this kind of service when they raise the minimum wage.

Not typically one for mass chain locations, we stopped here based on comments from others. While doing errands we thought this would be a fast small lunch and back to our errands. The staff was friendly, the location very clean- but also new. The menu had several combination options. Opting for boneless tenders, they had flavor and not greasy. Pricing for the lunch was decent.

Recently visited the newest Popeye's Chicken in Plainfield, IN. I have to admit I broke my golden rule of waiting 30 days to try a new restaurant. I have always figured that most places will train new staff and work through the kinks in that amount of time and the jitters have settled a little. That being said, this location is right on track with what I expected out of Popeye's. I simply love their southern-style Louisiana spicy offerings. The chicken tender family 16 piece, 3 large sides, and a dozen biscuits comes in around $30. The shrimp Po boy, minus the mayo (I don't do mayo), is a nice lunch or dinner item. You cannot go wrong with their Bonafide chicken either. That is their version of chicken on the bone. Don't be afraid to kick it up to spicy, but be prepared to have a large soda in tow. Give this new location a try at: 2304 E Main St Plainfield, IN 46168 (317) 839-1192

Every time we go here they forget at least one thing. This time we didn't get a side and they gave us the wrong wings. I hope the new location in Avon is better.

I am so glad that they finally opened. This has always been a favorite restaurant of mine to eat at. They have a double drive thru although i have not used it. We went down on Christmas Eve and it was packed. They were closing in 45 minutes but the food was still great. They were out of a few things but hey its a holiday eve. hopefully they will get their own facebook page. they have one of those fancy fountain machines that make all kinds of different drinks i always enjoy those. i just hope one day it will include pepsi products. their red beans and rice were spicier than any i have had before but i love spicy so i am ok with that but others may not like it so much.
