Burned mac and cheese pots. They do not clean the burned cheese from the pot and that acrid flavor transfers to food that isn't burned. The noodles are slightly overcooked and I abhor random noodles mixed into my food. Not sure of the system they have going on but apparently all of the pasta is made in the same pot. Spaghetti and egg noodles mixed in with my elbows? Gross and lazy. These noodles all have different cooking times. Not returning.

Ordered carry-out & was expecting a sloppy mess, like you get at some restaurants; however, my items were nicely packaged, I had more than enough silverware & napkins and the interaction was quick and friendly. When I opened my food, it tasted fresh as it was still warm & all ingredients were correct. I would recommend Noodles & Company to anyone. No matter what restaurant I go in, the experience is always pleasant and the food delicious, regardless of how busy they are.

The food is typically good, and the service is typically terrible. Tonight a hugely overweight guy sweating profusely took my order (someone who should not be within arms reach of food for fear of sprinkling it with sweat), and he seemed none to pleased to be working--not someone you want in customer service. One of the cooks was using his gloved hand to scratch behind his ear and the other cook had some kind of ear lobe thing going where they were about 4" in diameter, along with a bunch of poorly executed tattoos. Not to mention the nine dirty tables (used plates and food stuffs) in the dining area. I'll not return.

I love Noodles and Co in general, but the one in Plainfield is amazing. I always make it a point to stop when coming back from a flight. Its conveniently located for this getting to the airport and headed south from Indy. The price is exactly the same as all other Noodles....I say about $10 a person including drinks. They serve the table super fast here. They have a small parking lot for the amount of table space available...so I could foresee that being a small problem to some folks. I have never had an issue.

I like the concept -- just not the execution. I've been to Noodles & Company a few times and tried various dishes. Each time I don't feel like I've received my money's worth. Maybe it's because I tend to order the "Asian" dishes when I should just go to a Thai or Japanese place. It irks me that they charge almost $3 to add a protein -- if I ate only carbs for lunch, I'd be asleep before I got back to my desk! Noodles & Company is good if you're with friends with varying tastes, I suppose. There's just nothing that would compel me to come back.

Typical Noodles & Co. restaurant, nice alternative to the usual fried fast food. Knocking off a star due to the undertrained team members that struggled to take my simple order, they should have still been supported by more experienced staff and not left hanging.

Delicious, family friendly, and so many options to choose from and try. I went with my spouse and son and we each got an entree and drink. $30! Pretty high for the amount of food you get. I ordered the Japanese Pan Noodles with steak. AMAZING. I ordered the regular size and it was really only 10-12 bites and I had it polished off. I love the flavored infused soda dispenser. I never drink soda so I was glad they had Dasani water in which you could add a variety of flavors. I recommend half lime, half cherry! YUM! The place is clean and the staff is friendly. I just wish the prices were cheaper and you got more for your money. I would go back time and time again, I will just make sure to not go on a completly empty stomach.

Great place for a quick meal. It's nice that the food is brought to you, and you don't have to clean up with messy trays and such. Also cool, since you don't have to get it with meat if you don't feel like it. I usually order the regular portion, so I can take home leftovers. (If there's any). Here are the entrees I usually get / have gotten from favorite to least: 1) Japanese Pan Noodles...They're just soo good! I love all the veggies in it. I find the udon noodles to be very unique in this dish. 2) Pad Thai...It tastes better than most of the Pad Thai found in restaurants. 3) Pesto Cavatappi...Best Mediterranean dish on the menu. 4) Penne Rosa...ehhh 5) Indonesian Peanut Saute...I'm not a huge fan, since it tastes like peanut butter. 6) Macaroni & Cheese...Not worth all the calories. 7) Mushroom Stroganoff... So bland! I had to add table salt. As a side-note, all the meats are of pretty decent quality. It just depends on what mood your in. Sometimes, I forgo the meat and get pot-stickers to share instead. Don't forget to get a Rice Krispy Treat! They're soo oooeey and goooeey.

When this first opened, it was a favorite stop when in the area and needing a quick lunch that wasn't a burger, one of the few places you could get fountain Fresca. The manager always came over if they weren't swamped with orders and chatted to ask about your meal, getting to know a few of us by name. Explaining changes to a menu item was easy, and they'd custom fit about anything you wanted, noodle, meat and sauce wise. Work wasn't bringing me to the area and I hadn't been there in a few months. The Fresca was gone, the manager was gone, and the entire staff was all talking away in Spanish. English wasn't the counter person's first language so I didn't try and custom craft anything, just ordered off the menu. What I got wasn't what I ordered. but they fixed it with a smile. That was appreciated. A regular mac and cheese with meatballs, a side salad and a drink, was almost $12.

Having grown up on Noodles & Co, I'm happy there's a location at least sort of near me. The prices have gone up over the years but so has everything else, I suppose. I *always* have the Wisconsin mac and cheese. Sometimes I have it with the parmesan chicken and sometimes I don't. I have also enjoyed the stroganoff, the penne rosa, and the pasta cavatappi. A massive rice krispy treat is always a must. They do takeout with ease, and will adjust any dish pretty much however you'd like. I also like the huge square bowls for a party or what Hoosiers call a "carry-in" (I'd never heard this before living here but I've started saying it myself because whenever I say "potluck" everyone looks at my like I have a third eye). This location is pretty much as good as any others I've been to in Wisconsin, Illinois, California and Colorado. Consistently fresh and good.

The Bangkok Curry w/shrimp was delicious, and I would have been willing to pay significantly more than $7.75 for the dish. The ingredients seemed fresh, and it was not overwhelmed by the seasonings. The Chicken Caesar Duo is also a good choice, but the Tamato Basil Soup is not so great. This is a nice casual place to order and sit down, and the beer & wine options are a plus. I will be back.

Normally i love eating here.. but last time I went with my Vegetarian friend and I order veggie salad for him but later found out that they put beacon in their salad... SO that was the let down moment for me... Otherwise good place....

A chain of noodles. The first time I had Noodles and Company was in Denver. I think. Wait, maybe it was another noodle place and I'm getting confused...anyways, the concept, though not especially original is pretty smart in terms of a high-profit, low effort operation. It's also tasty when you don't feel like cooking or waiting at a dump like the Olive Garden. Noodles and Co has three different menus all with meat and vegetarian options...actually everything is pretty much vegetarian and you pay extra on top of the base offering for the protein (chicken, steak or tofu) and each menu has a soup. You can choose from American, Italian and Asian depending on your tastes and there are cookies and huge rice cripsy treats as dessert options. Everything I've had has been pretty decent and the service has been good each time I've been. It's not gourmet by any means, but it's a good reprieve from the expensive or do-it-yourself options out there...

We've had good experiences with this chain on the north side, but hit or miss ones at this location. However, what I saw this week made me think a little bit more positively of them. The Plainfield store seems a bit more community minded, and they were holding two benefits this week for the PHS band boosters and the Sheltering Wings women's shelter out in Danville. Usually you only see this sort of thing at a Chick Fil A or maybe next door at Culvers, but I wasn't expecting to see this here. I'm planning on going back on Friday for one of these benefits. Japanese Pan Noodles are what I always order here. They're good with hot sauce. My wife gets the cavatappi with parmesan-seared chicken. I'm not a pesto fan, but she loves it. Good service, good food, but an excellent member of the community.

I think it's incredible that these guys will customize nearly any dish without batting an eye. As a vegetarian, I see this as a HUGE benefit. Outstanding service all around. Kudos to Tom and the gang at the Plainfield Noodles!

Becoming a fan of this establishment with my coworkers in a hurry. The mac and cheese is amazing, especially when you add protein (meat!). My first visit I was unsure really how much food would be received- needless to say the next time I went with the regular or small. The larger bowl is simply too much for a lunch, and basically enough for 2. The pricing is reasonable, the staff has been exceptional every time we are there. I look forward to stopping in for lunch again soon.

I come here on the regular with co-workers and it used to be very good. Lately, overall quality has slipped. On our most recent visit, our food wasn't hot, just barely warm. One of the members of our party found a piece of cardboard in her food and when she told the manager, he insisted it was a mushroom, but mushrooms aren't corrugated (she was eventually refunded her money). The outdoor dining area was dirty; tables hadn't been wiped down in a while and were sticky. I wonder if management has recently changed and that's why things have faltered. We used to enjoy coming here for lunch, but it has fallen out of our regular rotation.

Food is hot and good... but at 11am on Thursday, this place is filthy. Floors need vacuumed, coke machine and condiment bar is sticky. Restrooms need a good once over as well. It is like Management does not car.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
