The food is great, only slightly on the pricey side but well worth it in my opinion. My wife and I have been addicted to their meatball sub for the past couple months. Even my 14 month loves their food! In all I've tried their meatball, Italian, Philly, and a custom chicken bacon ranch. As mentioned the meatball is amazing, as well as the Italian. The Philly is pretty good, but honestly Penn Station kills it. The custom sub was ok, as the bacon wasn't really crisp and the chicken was kind of soggy. I feel if you stick to any of the hot subs you'll be in Heaven. If you go to this location, a guy named Cord is by far the best worker they have. He goes out of his way every time I'm there to make sure I'm taken care of. The rest of the crew is really friendly as well and all seem pretty happy to be there and do a good job. I highly recommend coming here over Subway or Quiznos!

Seriously? Two tables away a couple was given two sandwiches. They looked at them, opened them, picked at the ingredients, then returned them. The sandwiches were then delivered to my table. As if I didn't just see two people pick at them. Are you kidding me? No soft drinks tonight. Soda machine not dispensing. Bathroom has an automatic soap dispenser, not working, a puddle of something in the middle of the floor. Yuck. New sandwiches just delivered by a very rude young lady. Clearly customer service is far down this priority list. Never again.

My first time trying Firehouse Subs since they've come to Indy, and I was in a hurry to grab and go. The menu here was very confusing and all over the place. I gravitated towards the low(er) calorie featured special and selected a Hook and Ladder sandwich. I guess I needed to be more specific because I ended up with a sub sandwich instead of what was on the picture (oh, I needed to say LIGHT?!). I didn't realize there were several sandwiches with the SAME name! If I weren't in such a rush to get back to work, I'd have mentioned that my sandwich was wrong, but I was already on the interstate when I discovered the error. My sandwich was warm and had a horseradish flavor on it, which was pretty tasty but nothing to rave about. I wasn't asked whether I wanted it heated and wish they'd have taken more time to explain things. They had a line of hot sauces that you can dress your sandwich with ranging from mild to way too hot and a Firehouse theme. The staff seemed to enjoy being there.

Excellent service, delicious hot steamed subs and a fun atmosphere. These subs are a giant mother-may-I-please-take-a-giant-step-up from the usual sandwich shop. Firefighters know good food, and every time I eat here I see firefighters from Westfield and Noblesville. The friendly, enthusiastic servers and cool firefighter interior makes this a fun place to grab lunch. It never fails that I leave here in a happier mood than when I walked in. The veggie on wheat fully involved is my favorite! It is fun to sample the large collection of hot sauces. And who can walk past the s'mores brownies without adding one to your order? All this and a Coke Freestyle machine too.

Long wait for a sub. And an even longer wait for drinks. There is one machine all the way in the corner of the restaurant which causes a roadblock similar to a pile up on a highway. They need more than one machine, and it needs to be moved away from the cash register. I feel like I had people breathing right behind me as I ordered. Very disappointing. Probably last time I'll come here. To top it off, the cashier looked miserable and had trouble hearing me. Just an overall bad experience. Oh, and although I appreciate good management, customers do not want to hear commands being yelled at employees the whole time I'm trying to enjoy a meal.

Love this place. Friendly folks and really good sandwiches. The brisket is delish and the manager is super friendly.

Firehouse used to be a good place to buy a sub. WARNING: However, do not look at Firehouse reviews older than 4 months now. Since then, they have changed their menu, made their sandwiches smaller(AKA PRICE INCREASE), and increased the general price. A regular sub is nearly a 5 or 6 bite endeavor now. The quality of the meats have changed with the new menu, too. A HUGE downgrade on the meat. I would nearly put Firehouse in the rank of Subway these days. On my recent visit, I had to clean my own table at 4pm, with no customers in the restaurant. I could not find a clean table anywhere. To add insult to injury, the soda machine touting all the flavors, was out of many flavors. Numerous buttons I chose were all grayed out. Do yourself a favor and hit the Qdoba or Panda on either side of Firehouse. You will find a better value and tastier food in those restaurants. Avoid Firehouse unless you really love to overpay for poor food, and small portions. It's too bad because a year ago I would have rated this place a 4 star. If you need a sub fix, hit Jersey Mike's.

1st time trying a Firehouse Subs in IN (had been once before many years ago close to Stetson U in FLA). This place is very good. Different from Penn Station too. We both had hot subs on whole wheat roll. That's where I want to start - awesome bread, fresh and tasty!! Really made the order. The menu grabbed me by the back of neck and shook me to the core on seeing the NY Steamer - wow, hot pastrami and corned beef on the same sammy! Had to try - 2 great tastes that taste great together - and with provolone. My only complaint was that it needed a bit more deli mustard but an awesome 1st run. This place isn't trying to be anything more than it is - a darn good and unpretentious joint. SHE anxiously held back and got a plain old hot roast beef sandwich loaded. AND loved it! Both of us had medium sandwiches $5.69 each (menu standard) - large is only $2 more. If She had better taste and liked pastrami we'd get a large and share!! 4 stars. Do it again and I'll bump to 5 (and am fully expecting to do so).

The first time I had firehouse, I wasn't impressed. Then someone talked me into the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket and I fell in love. I love me some good bbq but don't have time to go and sit down and eat it at squealers. I am now addicted and would love to swim in a giant baby pool full of their bbq sauces. Yeah. It's THAT good. After meeting Firehouse and Dibella's subs, I'll never set foot in another subway again. True, I might be paying more for more calories, but I won't settle for less than the best. I'd rather eat better food and spend more time on the treadmill than eat "healthier" at subway and not be happy. Does anyone even know if they serve real meat? Firehouse is fresh, somewhat fast, and always friendly and clean. And their Coke machine is a great toy for those of us adults who are easily amused.

The sandwiches aren't bad; we liked the Italian sub better than the meatballs, which tasted just like the ones from subway. (Which I like, but I prefer different chains to have slightly different-tasting food. They were out of straws, ice, and cup lids though, and I'm not sure if the soda machine (the one with the touch screen that allows you to choose between many different kinds) was working; the cherry-lime whatever tasted like it *should* have been carbonated--and a staff member told me it should have been--but it clearly wasn't. Twice. The people who got soda said theirs was carbonated. It's another variation on "sub sandwich chain."

Good sandwiches! Try the beef brisket. They have quality cuts of meat. Prices are a little higher than most sandwich shops and service can be slow when they are busy.

Firehouse Subs is by far the best chain sub joint. The meat and toppings are always fresh and tasty. The pop machine is crazy with all the the combinations, but it is hard to beat the in-house cherry-limeade.

Firehouse is a really nice place to stop in for a sandwich. It's like an amped-up Subway. Very tasty and fast. Only complaint is it's a little messy. Not always the cleanest. Easy place for a quick bite, however, and I love the drink machine. It's the only one of those new fancy ones I've ever seen that actually WORKS...
