Best Bet Breakfast & Lunch Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

So the casino atmosphere is what my husband loved. The food in my mind was just OK and could use a little more seasoning. The nice thing is that they use all local meats. They only have 10 tables inside plus the bar so there may be a little bit of a wait if you are there on Saturday morning like we were. For a table of four at 10:30 in the morning, we only had to wait for 15 minutes. They were also willing to bring a beverage out to you, let you look at a menu early, As well as bring out some cinnamon sugar donuts while you wait. My husband tried the river, and I tried to Andrea stack. There was also an order of biscuits and gravy, and the eggs Benedict at the table. Love the theme of the restaurant but the menu is difficult to read as you have to read every single description to know what you are ordering. Staff was Uber friendly and made it a point to know everyone's name at the table. Seth was a fantastic waiter!

Finally got a weekday morning to try this place out. It was super good. The toast and cinnamon donuts were amazing and came out before our meal which we loved! The small pancakes weren't very small and my wife ordered way too much food. The fresh meats are really delicious. I had seen so many reviews of their Ava potatoes and I thought they were a little dry but pretty good. Overall we had a really good meal and the servers are on the ball!

Let's see. Let's see. What to say about Best Bet. First off it is themed. Poker tables. Playing cards painting on the walls. Poker tournaments playing. Food named after poker plays. The theme of a restaurant shouldn't be a make it or break it in my book as you can always get your food to go - and why yes! They do offer carry out. One of the owners is always behind the grill. Sit at the bar if you want a seat quicker, are flying solo, or just want to watch your food being cooked. I like the fact that the grill isn't hidden. It's more diner that way and it shows they don't care if you see what they're doing... Because they're doing it right. Meat is sourced locally which is cool. Locally owned as well - not a chain (keep Indy indie!) On the weekDAYS you get beignets (donut holes) with your meal in the morning. This is only a weekday thing so those thinking they got ripped off or neglected on the weekends did not, just were unaware it is not an everyday thing... Just a weekDAY thing. You get unlimited toast. They have a system for knowing if you're done or not (you flip a chip on your table). Which is cool... But don't fill up on toast otherwise you'll need a to go box as their portions are huge. And yes they don't allow people to go in with outside beverages (unless you're a little kid). But why would you? Would you go into a wine bar with your own bottle of wine... Eat their food but drink the wine you bought? I know you're probably like "a diner is not a wine bar" and it isn't... But they are both food establishments. What makes that behavior acceptable at diners? I think people get soured that they enforce things like that, but they are independently owned so have to look at stuff like that more than a chain does. I still wouldn't do that at a chain either though. What else... Biscuits and gravy are good. Pancakes - I go kid like and get chocolate chips - are good. Ava taters are wonderful Service is good. They ask for your name and (often) remember it throughout the meal.

Before today, I had only eaten at Best Bet for lunch...while it is called Best Bet Breakfast AND Lunch, it's really all about the breakfast here. The lunch is nothing overly special. This place is entirely poker-themed...kind of an odd theme, but it works. It was super packed in there even at breakfast, and kind of hectic. There were several TVs that were playing poker championships and, for whatever reason, Shania Twain was playing the entire time. The food was pretty solid. I love the toast concept, and it's really good, so of course you're gonna want more. I had the tacos with chorizo, egg, and cheese...great flavor, nice fluffy tortilla. Perfect for a big, hearty breakfast...too big, actually. I had to take one of the three tacos and 2/3 of the potatoes you get with it home for the next day. I don't eat out for breakfast much, but this place is pretty solid. A little expensive, but it's not like you come every day...unless you take their slogan, "See you tomorrow," a lot more literally than you should.

My family was in from Chicago for a concert and stumbled upon this little gem! When we walked in, it was pretty busy but the owner was right up front and greeted us right away, explaining the menu while we waited. We expected a long wait but it was only a few minutes! Such a cute place! I love that it's casino themed! I felt so welcome, and I cannot remember the name of our server, I really wish I did because he was great, but it was a younger guy who was very very helpful with suggestions. Everyone working here that we encountered were very friendly! The food was delicious! Fresh ingredients and they use local farmers to supply their food! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for fresh, delicious food! I can't wait to come back! Thank you for being so welcoming!

My husband and I came here today for breakfast. We were immediately greeted. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The food put the icing on the cake. I can no longer go to IHOP because this place blows IHOP away. I will be back for sure! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

I'm sorry... We've tried to like this place, but it's been replaced as a breakfast destination. It's friendly, it's cool that the waitress cuts the kids pancakes and the kids look forward to getting a poker chip at the end of their meal. The price is a little high for breakfast, but the problem is that the food is average at best. On top of that they very much stipulate that they don't allow for substitutions or changes to the dish... I just don't understand that. And... They don't have French toast? Really?!

Dropped by Sunday after church for a late breakfast. Danny greeted me at the door and offered me the last seat at the counter. Normally, I order something named after the restaurant on my first visit, but all of their items are named after people I assume are employees or family members. When Andrea brought me my first basket of toast, she explained the menu and told me about the toast card. I decided to order J.C.'s Tacos because ... Well, I'm J.C. They were the best I've had since leaving San Antonio in 2006. The service was great, and there was always someone there to top off my water and coffee. She even offered to get me a cup of joe to go, but I had my fill while eating. Besides the food, I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff. They called everyone by their first name, and when I was leaving, Andrea said, "Thanks for coming, J.C. See you tomorrow." Standing outside, Danny also thanked me for coming. It wasn't until I read some of the other reviews that I realized their "see you tomorrow," was something they said to their customers. I didn't care. That personal touch was something that will ensure another visit. You can bet on that.

Cute place! Greeted with cinnamon sugar biscuits at the door to get us thorough our short wait. Owner/manager was out on the floor saying hi to customers & helping out. Staff was friendly & courteous & took the time to learn our names. Our server (Mary) even insisted on cutting my daughters pancakes so I could enjoy my hot meal & never left us wanting for anything. Food is homemade & locally sourced but still reasonably priced. Give it a try!

Such a fun place! The poker theme is very neat, plus the kids get a poker chip to take home which they really thought was neat. The kids also get a themed place mat that they stick to the table...they got Mickey and Minnie mouse. I had the best coffee that I've had in months from here and their omelette was a very good size and you could definitely tell they use fresh vegetables, as well as fruit. You can also just feel the cleanliness in the restaurant. The service was just as good as the food.

  • Angie M.

Seriously love this place! It's got an old school Vegas vibe to it. The waitstaff make it their goal to learn your name; which I love. The food is great! The portions are good. I just think it's slightly overpriced by comparison, but that never stops us from stopping by.

What can I say that the other 100 or so reviewer's haven't covered. This joint is great ! The servers are friendly and on the ball, everything we have tried for breakfast and lunch has been fresh and tasty. One of my favs is the AA pocket rockets patty melt, served on fantastically fresh marble rye. A 10 oz behemoth of a burger cooked to perfection with grilled onions and swiss. You still get the landmark all you can eat toast and a small side of baked beans and a deviled egg on the house were a pleasant surprise on a recent visit. Yes the place is small and busy and the lines can be long on the weekends , but well worth the wait!

"Best Bet breakfast & lunch" in Fishers, IN, is just about the best place to go for breakfast! Friendly, local atmosphere, great menu, true "home cookin'" ... It just hits the spot every time I go in. Thanks to all their friendly, dedicated staff for starting my mornings off right!

This place is awesome. So glad my husband found it as we just moved to town. Mary, our server, was personable and learned all of our names immediately, including my dad's, whose name is a nickname and difficult to pronounce. Toast basket is amazing, refills of drinks kept coming, and food was hearty and delicious. We will definitely make this a regular spot. Plus, my 4yo daughter was given a pink casino chip and when she collects five, she can trade them in for a big one. Inside is decorated like a Las Vegas dive and Abba playing in the background. Very cool spot.

This place is fantastic! My husband and I visited on the Saturday morning after the Dave Matthews Band concert. We walked in, and what were they playing on the TVs? Old Dave Matthews Band concerts! We knew we had chosen the right place. YES! There were quite a few people waiting, and one of the owners brought around those delicious fried cinnamon biscuit/donuts for everyone who was waiting. When we were finally seated, the servers came over and totally gave us a rundown of the menu. The coffee was great, the food came quickly, and our server, a young gentleman, was so kind. The food, though!! The Ava potatoes are just about the best thing I've ever had for breakfast. I love that the meat comes from local farms. I had the eggs, bacon, and Ava potatoes. My husband had banana pancakes. Everything was absolutely delicious and flavorful! I cannot wait to go back!!

Solid breakfast place, and nice to find something locally owned in the strip malls that line 37. Even better is that their meats are locally sourced, too! We visited early (7:30) on a weekday, so the place was almost empty and we were served very quickly. So you get your first basket of unlimited toast and sugar biscuits when you order (and they give you a red/green card to flip over when you want more, which is kind of hilarious), and while the toast was pretty much just toast, the sugar biscuits were a BIG hit with my husband and toddler. It was nice for my son to have something to munch on while we waited for the food. I ordered a mushroom omelet with sausage and Swiss, and my husband ordered one of the combo breakfasts with pancakes, bacon, potatoes, and eggs. We also took our server's recommendation and ordered a small bowl of sausage gravy "for the table" (again, heh), which was excellent on the toast and the potatoes. My omelet was good, not the best ever, but good. My husband reported similarly on the combo. Potatoes were a little greasy but much improved by the gravy, as I mentioned. One last note regarding service--our server, Beth, asked for our first names and then addressed us by them for the rest of the meal. When we left, the servers all said, "See you tomorrow!" Nice touches.

Updated: On our visit today (8/10/15), we were disappointing but the whole experience. The food was good, but that was about it. It was crowded as it was nearing the close of day (2pm). There were a couple of groups in front of us, but the wait time normally moves fast. There was a group of teen age boys that came in after us. The entire time of waiting for a table, the boys kept trying to jockey themselves in front of us to be seated. One tried talking to the owner and the owner came back asking us who was next...REALLY!!!! The service was ok at best...would not bet on coming back anytime soon. Previous review of 5 stars: We just happened into this place one day for breakfast and it was great. The Vegas/casino theme is a bit chessy, but the food makes up for it. They serve breakfast and lunch anytime. The staff greets you and remembers you when you come back. It can get a bit crowded because it is a small place at the end of the strip mall, but we have never waited more than a few minutes for a table. The breakfast menu gets our pick everytime. There are several stack items to pick. Stacks are in house fried potatoes, topped with various ingredients (eggs, cheeses, bacon, chorizo, veggies and such). They serve unlimited toast with breakfast and start you off with little cinnamon toast buns. There is also an All In breakfast item which is a grown man's dream.

Yummy food for a great price! The Ava potatoes are great! As are the pancakes! The only downside is that if you come with a party larger than 4, you'll have to sit at different tables.

The food was quite tasty, and the service was polite and efficient. We will go back next time we are around. But we won't sit at the counter. There was a bit to much service action up there

Unlimited toast - who could have ever imagined! I didn't need more, but it was fun to imagine having an endless supply brought to the table! It is a small place with not a ton of seating, but it was worth the short wait. The omelet was fresh and had plenty of fixings in it, and we also ordered some kind of stacked breakfast which was great. Our service was pretty slow, which is surprising when you read other reviews about wanting to get you out quickly. Would go back!

This place has really good breakfast food! The portions are huge and they give you unlimited toast. It's decorated with a gambling theme (cards, poker chips, blackjack). The staff is always friendly. I've never had a bad experience. It's not a big place so if you go during a busy time you may have to wait.

I have been here several times in the past and had a very good lunch today. Would probably be a 4.5 stars. The casino atmosphere is pretty unique and over the top - doesn't bother me in the least and it's done well. Pictures on the walls of "famous" poker players and other random poker types is the norm. Tables with casino chips under the glass, etc. The owner is definitely on top of things - a few of the guys I work with were joking how he prowls the floor like a caged lion who hasn't eaten for a week. Either keeping an eye on the staff or the customers...not really sure. Either way you can tell a lot of pride goes into their establishment. Stopped in for lunch today - very tasty food, excellent service. Ordered the Circus Circus (BLT with kraut) and fries...fresh and hot. Breakfast in the past here has been very good - love the breakfast sausage. Will definitely be back.

Toast brought out right away = keeps the kids occupied until the real food gets here. Awesome. Service was quick and good. Food portions were huge as well as delicious. Our waitress was really helpful, she even cut up my daughter's pancakes for her. Very unexpected but very helpful. The kids even got poker chips at the end of the meal and we got coffee in to-go cups. We will be back!

Good food, limited seating, and the unlimited toast is good for mornings where you are especially hungry (or to help with hungry children). I usually order the Ava taters, which can be greasy. The servers are friendly. It's not my favorite breakfast food place in the area, but worth a try. The set up is not friendly for groups over 4-5 people. You will likely have to be split up and may have to wait a long time to be seated.

This IS your best bet for breakfast in Indianapolis and surrounding areas. To quote a friend: "The more humble a place, the better the breakfast." Totally true and Best Bet proves the point. Clean as a whistle, good food and really pleasant service. They take the poker theme seriously and have poker playing along with various video concerts on LCDs around the place. And, all the items on the menu are named using poker terms: the flop, the river, the fold... you get it :-) On my next visit I'll up it to 5 stars. I want to try lunch there too.

have a few positives a a few negatives. Positives: -They bring a basket of toast to your table immediately and keep it refilled throughout the meal. -they have plastic placemats for toddlers so you don't have to worry about bringing your own. -they give each kid a poker chip before you leave. Collect five and win a prize. -food was good. A little greasy but definitely better than your typical diner food. -the meat is all local. Delicious!! The ham steak was a new twist on the eggs Benedict. Loved it and will order again! Negatives -Small venue so expect at least a 20 minute wait. -the owner is extremely rude. Since there is usually a line for a table, the owner hurries you to leave once you've finished eating. Our friends said the owner had their table cleared and coffee taken away and owner told them to leave. So rude. Saturday mornings are for sipping coffee slowly and enjoying a lazy breakfast. For this reason, we won't be returning. I don't tolerate rudeness especially from management.

We found this gem off of Yelp when we were in the area for auto repairs. We are foodies and Best Bet absolutely topped the list in not only food, but service and atmosphere too. Being born and raised in southern Indiana, I take my biscuits and gravy seriously. When our server said Best Bet's was top, I was skeptical. I quickly remanded that comment when I tried it. It was phenomenal. I can't wait to take my parents here when they visit. In face, Best Bet was so good, it caused me to post my first Yelp review and I'm glad it was for this restaurant. We tried one of the omelets and the jalapeño stack (not the name, but it was delicious).

Delicious breakfast. Best bet has been good every time I've visited over the last year. Always quick and friendly. The staff is wonderful and the food tastes like its fresh from grandma's kitchen. The atmosphere is quaint and fun, laid back, and typically very busy on the weekends! Call and order carry out, or give yourself plenty of wait time on the weekends because everyone wants Best Bet!

While I've been a member of Yelp for a while, I've never posted a review. The experience today was so positive, I had to post both here and Facebook. We found the place from a Google search for "best breakfast restaurant Noblesville." It was the top search result - now we know why! Large number of people waiting, but the owner was expediting and we were seated quickly. Bonus points for bringing out free biscuits for everyone waiting - classy move. Sat at counter, helped by co-owner Karen. Already friendly, she was especially helpful when she found out we were first-timers. Walked us through the menu and set us up with the first basket of unlimited toast! We started with a half order of biscuits and gravy. Creamy, with lots of sausage and completely covering the plate. My wife had the Andrea Stack, which had scrambled eggs, mushrooms, peppers, onions, potatoes and just the right amount of cheese. If you're not a fan of mushrooms, stay away - it's loaded with them! My wife loves them, so she was in heaven. I had the two breakfast burrito plate. They were loaded with eggs, peppers, onions and cheese (doing this from memory, may have overlooked something) and a side of delicious potatoes. I added jalapeños to the burritos - highly recommended! On both of our breakfasts, we were impressed on how light and fluffy the eggs were. During our meal, the staff were quickly refilling our drinks, always appreciated! Karen finished our meal with two free cinnamon fried biscuits. Although at this point we were stuffed, we had to try them. Incredible! My wife and I love trying small, local restaurants for breakfast. While the quality of the food is excellent (and plentiful!), it was the personal service and clearly tight ship Karen and her husband run (sorry, I've forgotten his name, but he rocks a sweet hat and mustache!). The staff were clearly proud of the place, and it showed. Our only regret is that we didn't know about it sooner. But we'll be back! Thanks, everyone, for making us feel so welcome!

The good was good & huge servings (the large pancakes almost don't fit on the plates). Service was great -- our server Mary was attentive & even bothered to learn our names. Do wish they had a few more veggies on the menu, esp. with the omelettes. Not a place for a large group though -- our group of 8 had to sit at separate tables.

  • Dennis B.

Food okay sometimes. Condiments are cheap most likely from Sam's or some place simular. Gave it 3 stars only because the service was good. Don't go there with a party larger than 4. Ava potatoes need fried more and omelette's shouldn't be overdone like they are most of the time.

We tried this place at the recommendation of a friend, saying it serves great food at cheap prices. The atmosphere is a bit over the top, maybe trying a little too hard. The person I believe to be the owner was wearing sunglasses and gold chains around his neck, trying to add to the cheesiness of the atmosphere. I'm not sure why people get excited with a basket of cold white Texas toast at the table, but I'm sure it has its fans. It would be nice to be able to order a la carte, rather than having to stick with the gambling-themed choices on the menu. We ended up getting the breakfast burrito, and whatever gambling term called for one egg, sausage, toast and potatoes. The egg and meat were adequate, no complaints there. The potatoes tasted like they'd been sitting in old grease for hours - I'm not sure why anyone would find this mushy lump of spuds appealing. The prices were higher than I expected, based on my friend's recommendation. The service was decent - when the waitress asked our names, I figured she would actually remember them and call us by name occasionally. That never happened. Am I a big fan of independent restaurants? you bet. Will I go back to Best Bet? You can bet not!

This is a small diner that offers generous portions, great prices, and great service. Our waitress was super attentive and patient. I ordered the breakfast combo that came with 3 eggs, 2 sausage patties, Ava's taters, and 2 "small" pancakes, with a side of ham. I have never had such a large portion of breakfast ham. If I'd known better I would have only ordered 1 slice vs 2. The ham was juicy and tender. The eggs were cooked perfectly although I became instantly envious when a plate of scrambled eggs drizzled with cheese sauntered past our table (next time). The pancakes and sausage are both made from scratch. The pancakes were ok, nothing spectacular, but the sausage was flavorful. You get unlimited toast. They give you 2 cinnamon biscuits which remind me of oh so delicious apple fritters sans apples. I could tell that these little delectable dough balls were homemade also. Ava's taters were so gooooood! Reminiscent of the fried potatoes and onions we make at home, but a little different. My 1 year old son loved those, the sausage, and cinnamon biscuits. I saw 2 other children there, so this is a good place to bring your crib midgets. long story short... I'd recommend eating here and I plan on returning.

No other breakfast location has produced sausage gravy that more closely resembled Mamaw's than this place! With great prices, friendly service and gambling themed decor, Best Bet is a great breakfast option in Fishers! The small size, personal attention, and great home cooking really makes you feel that you're in a small town diner rather than a ubiquitous Fishers strip mall. On weekdays the cinnamon buns and bottomless toast are great for the carb lovers!

The food here? VERY good. The service here? It's mixed. I guess since this place has a gambling theme that's why the service is a crap shoot maybe? We've had servers who were above average, but most were unfriendly and even touched our personal belongings which was bizarre to say the least. I love the idea that this is a local joint and the food is made from scratch. If you have a party larger than 4.......FORGET IT! They absolutely will NOT move 2 tables together, even if it means splitting up your kids. We went in there with a party of 5 (one being a LAP baby) and they told us we couldn't do that. The owner is a short guy who dresses like he is Nick Papagorgio from Yuma, Arizona. You would think "wow, that's great that the owner is in the dining room checking on things", right? Not this guy. All he does is lurk around and he wears waaaaaaaay to much cologne. (Hint: It's a restaurant. Leave the cologne at home. It's not a good mix with the food!). Most of the time the servers are in such a hurry to turn the tables they rush you out of there. But I only wanted one more cup of coffee! Good food. Service stinks overall and we've been treated poorly too many times. We won't go back. Ever.

Best Bet is a unique little place in Fishers, IN. The atmosphere is busy, but I never feel rushed. The most important part is the food. The ingredients are fresh. Everything is made from scratch (except the bread). The menu consists of a good variety of what I like to call "normal" food. This is not the "upscale" breakfast and brunch places that are popping up in and around Indy. Today was a breakfast date with my daughter. I ordered The Ante (1 biscuit topped with sausage gravy and scrambled eggs). My daughter had The Fold ( 2 large burritos filled with eggs, cheese, onion, green peppers) served with Ava Taters. Portions are large but you aren't sacrificing quality or flavor for bigger portions. Next visit we may just share a meal :) Delicious!!! This is not my first visit and will definitely not be my last. Thanks for a place to grab traditional American breakfast, good coffee, atmosphere and all for about $30!

I don't understand the allure of this place. I love food, I love eating breakfast out more than just about any meal and I am not picky. I found the food here mediocre and the prices quite high for breakfast. I don't need endless toast and didn't find the biscuits all that great, plus we had to ask for the biscuits or they wouldn't have materialized. I saw this tip somewhere, maybe on here. Coffee tasted like regular Midwestern weak coffee. It's not horrible, it's just a mediocre restaurant as far as I'm concerned and I can get WAY better food in the area for less money. I don't mind paying but want quality for the cash. Didn't find it here, though the staff was incredibly efficient and very kind.

Have only been once but loved the atmosphere and friendly staff! While we waited for a table (not too long, but it is a small shop) they were passing out free cinnamon donuts... YUM. Food was pretty good, but not the best ever. Loved the experience more than anything!

Incredibly friendly staff make the food just that much better. Awesome pancakes, bacon, potatoes, sausage gravy, and chorizo omelet. Our entire party was happy-even our 14 year old appreciated the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. So glad we found it on Yelp!

Foods pretty good.. the owner if that is what he is.. incredibly pushy. Was finishing up.. drinking coffee enjoying conversation with my family and he came over and said since your done you have to go because there are people waiting so unless you will order more you have to go. The waitress apologized immediately but none the less we had to go.

Winning bets: Clean Friendly Fast Efficient Losing bets: Food is just ok, nothing more While there are more winning than losing bets, the food is still the reason I go out to eat. Strange but true. I would put my money on a better spot.

Visited the place for the first time based on the rave reviews here, but I still don't get the why of such high reviews! The atmosphere evoked an old 60's like restaurant with unavoidable poker theme, but the rest (like food and coffee ) was just so so. Went in for a Saturday morning breakfast... and the toast, even the second serving, was cold, not hot or warm. (BTW, no sugar biscuits). My regular coffee was bland (absolutely no aroma), and wife's decaf was so thick! The fried Ava taters (aka fried mashed potato) was soggy. I thought you can't go wrong with an omelette, but at least the veggi version wife ordered was bland too. Missing something even in a breakfast food. Finally, compared to other breakfast places we visited (both "premium" and regular), the price was above average. I don't think I'll visit the place again. Left a decent tip for the waitress though, as my experience wasn't her fault.

My fiance and I have been here several times and have always had great service and great food. Best Bet has been out go-to breakfast spot for the past few months. We've always had to wait whenever we go but it's been no more than 15 minutes for us and at least when we have waited, we been served hot cinnamon and sugar balls. Think of a ball of dough that tastes like an elephant ear! I'm pretty addicted to the Ante at Best Bet. One biscuit with their sausage gravy on top and scrambled eggs on top of that. So good! You always get a basket of toast while you wait and they will keep bringing it to you if you choose. The service is also fantastic! I've never seen more attentive servers. You can bet on us always coming back!

This is a friendly and super clean restaurant with great service in a bright and cheery space. I was quite excited to come here but the food was disappointing. The toast basket was just mediocre bread toasted. The orange juice was merely an orange drink. My favorite part was the sausage, it was quite good. The biggest disappointment were the pancakes which tasted like those heavy Bisquik ones. They're nice and it's friendly but the breakfast was just OK, nothing more. You can bet on that.

Best Bet is that place you want to take your out of town guests to when they say they want to go somewhere for brunch. It's got an identity of its own along with great food that makes it so awesome. Sure, the music can be a little loud and it does get crowded, but knowing that you're buying breakfast from your next door neighbor is worth it. Great local place. Only downside to this place is that it is slightly more expensive than what you would pay at other comparable breakfast spots in the area (we're talking $2-3 more per person).

Loved the place. Owner was a hoot, very busy and we had to wait but it was made enjoyable by coffee and hot cinnamon buns. Had the Benedict with sausage and it was delicious. The verde jalapeño hot sauce was one of the best I've ever had. Also love the vegas theme! I will come back when I'm in town.

This place was great! I love the poker theme and the staff was super friendly and attentive. The Ava taters were incredible. I had mine with their made-from-scratch gravy. I love the free unlimited toast!

It was late in the afternoon on Sunday and my husband and I were in the mood for breakfast. Immediately we thought of Best Bet. All I could think about were the UNLIMITED baskets of hot buttered toast I was about to consume. We get to the entrance at 1:55pm and to my dismay they are scheduled to close at 2pm. Sadly, we start to walk away but out of the corner of my eye I catch the staff enthusiastically waving us to come inside and eat unlimited baskets of hot buttered toast! How could we say no? We our promptly seated, toast basket served, and drinks delivered. Our food arrived hot and fresh. My scrambled eggs tasted farm fresh (I am very particular about eggs) these were excellent, my thick center cut bacon was cooked perfectly (crisp but not too crispy), and the Ava taters were savory. Portions were of a good size and we left full. The service was excellent, they made it a point to remember our names, we were given drinks to go, and of course they always kept that toast basket replenished. Wonderful service and delicious food makes this place your "Best Bet" for breakfast.

The eggs have to be smothered in butter to be this good. Couple that with unlimited toast and a stellar cup of Joe, and you have a Noblesville breakfast staple.

Great restaurant & friendly atmosphere. Our server Helen was great & very friendly. The back of the restaurant was cold, but we will definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I have tried to go here a few times, every time it has been very busy. Today we were actually able to get a seat and I'm so happy we came back and tired. Helen was our server and she was excellent. Referred to us by name, my boyfriends drink was always filled ( he didn't even have to ask) the food wasn't just eggs, potatoes and pancakes they had fun querky names and a different spin on each dish. We will def come here again. I love mom and pap places!

After 3 consistently great visits, Best Bet is now in our rotation of 'go-to' places for Sunday morning breakfast. Poker is the theme of this place, but the service is what sets it apart. If you do not like attentive service, go elsewhere! Here, they ask you what your names are and refer to you BY NAME for the rest of the meal. They use a team approach to wait a table, as any number of people will stop to refill your coffee (constantly hot!), refill your unlimited toast basket, or to clear a plate. They may also take your picture if it is your first visit, as they have a picture slide show going on one of the TVs in the place at all times. The other TVs have either a poker tournament or a random DVD of a concert playing (we have seen Jimmy Buffett, Neil Diamond, and now Elvis!). FUN! Portions are huge and we have liked everything we have tried. The breakfast burritos (maybe The Fold?) are amazing--chorizo and other goodies inside soft tortilla shells. Perfect. Biscuits and gravy--amazing. Chocolate chip pancakes taste like warm, gooey fresh baked cookies. Nom nom nom... Their motto is "See You Tomorrow" -- or in our case -- see you next Sunday!

This place is always amazing.. I have not had anything on the menu yet that I was disappointed with. The poker theme is a little over the top but that is what makes this hidden gem so unique.. I was able to sit at the bar and on one tv watch poker and on the other tv watched music videos from Marvin Gaye in 1968! This is my kids favorite place to go because they get a poker chip after every meal. Definitely the best place to eat breakfast in the area hands down.

The biscuits and gravy rival my mama's home cooking! But I would never tell her that. :) food was fantastic and a great atmosphere! Grab a seat at the bar if there is one available so that you can experience the masterful cooks that are running the grill!

Went on a later Saturday morning and both the service and food was great. We had the biscuits and gravy and the omelette with sausage, swiss and gravy. The ava potatoes were great as well. Best breakfast we've had in the Indiana so far.

I was too unsure about this place even after reading the reviews. Especially, since I couldn't wrap my head around the whole Vegas theme. But hey it hits all the right notes here in the northern suburbs. It geographically straddles space between noblesville and fishers while culturally falls into the camp of the former, thankfully. The place is unpretentious, integrated (class and race) and clean. The food is divey and I love it. And not in an ironic hipster way either; this is classic american breakfast fare done right.

Holy moly. This place is fantastic. Free toast, hot and buttered, when you sit down and ponder the large menu. Egg dishes, omelets, pancakes, etc. I ordered JCs tacos, huge plate of 3 soft tortillas filled with chorizo, cheese and eggs, served with sour cream and salsa, and a side of Avas potatoes. We also split a small order of biscuits and gravy, which was very good. We sat at the counter, which was great to watch the grill cook.

Very good, we tried B&G, pancakes, breakfast tacos and bacon.... All of it was above average! Most impressively our waitress buttered and cut up our sons pancake!! WOW! Who does that??? That is taking customer service to the next level!! Our kids were were over the moon when the got a free poker chip when we left.

Unlimited Toast! Doesn't get much better than that. We loved it. The potatoes are so yummy! Service was top notch! They try hard to make you feel like a regular even when it's only your first visit. I plan on going back many times. A+++

  • Kaitlin B.

Stumbled in the morning after a concert and could not have been more happy that we did. The staff was friendly, toast when you sit down is a plus, and the food was delicious. I had a omelet, and while it wasn't necessarily anything fancy, the ingredients were fresh and a little better than your standard diner fare. The location isn't in my neck of the woods, but I'd be tempted to return even not after a concert.

I looked up good places in the area for breakfast and this was ranked high so I wanted to check it out. While I had to wait for 15 minutes to sit by myself, it was well worth it as I got a free cinnamon biscuit while waiting.....excellent biscuit! I had the small blind (half order biscuits and gravy) and a side of ava potatoes. It was all fantastic. I really liked their slight twist on fried potatoes. The free buttered toast was an added bonus. I'll definitely be back and will make sure I bring some friends next time.

My family went to Best Bet after a local recommendation and we have been addicted since. From the poker chip (frequent diner program) they give my son each time to the great service. The food is fairly priced and serving size is just what you want when you think of family diner atmosphere. Biscuits and gravy are a must. Love it!!!

We visited this place this past Sunday after seeing a glowing review on the IndyStar earlier in the week. I grew up not so long ago when a breakfast out was something served at a diner, not something at Denny's, IHOP, Cracker Barrel, or Bob Evans. Every place that my family would eat breakfast at would have it's own quirks and some items on the menu that was great, some good, and a lot of it ok. Best Bet definitely made me nostalgic for the days of eating breakfast with my parents and brother, playing with the little half and half cups, and playing tic tac toe. First off, Best Bet is small inside, it is basically two four person table wide along with a small bar to eat (if so inclined). The theme like everyone else on Yelp talks about is all poker. The food itself was above average for breakfast with extremely large servings. When I say they are large servings they are absurd in their size, the pancake for example is probably close to 12-15" in diameter. What really set Best Bet apart for me was that the service was unbelievable. Our server (Brittany) was helpful and prompt with everything. She took the time to ask all of our names (even our 22 month old twins) and referred to us by name the entire meal. When the food finally arrived she took the time to cut up the twins pancakes, this is something that no other server any place has ever done for us and my wife and I were literally awe struck. We will definitely be back.

Don't let the location fool you. This place is the benchmark! Yes they are busy but everyone got seated fast and the service second to none. I haven't been taken care of this well in years. The service was so good I would go back on that alone but the food was awesome too! Coffee was amazing! Our server Andrea was perfect. KEEP HER! She remembered all of our names after only one time and always had a genuine smile. Did I mention the coffee? This place seems to be filled with great people and I think it runs over to the customers. Everyone had a positive vibe and it made for an amazing dining experience. We WILL be back!!!

I have been to Best Bet on several occasions, but we had family in from out of town and they wanted a good breakfast from a "local" place. I couldn't wait to get them into Best Bet and they didn't disappoint. While it was busy as one would expect at 9:30 on a Saturday but we waited less than five minutes and were seated. We were offered a delicious, cinnamon and sugar biscuit while waiting which was an unexpected treat. Unlimited toast comes out in a basket "old school" with melted butter and assorted jams and our server Mary introduced herself and asked if we had been there before. We told he we had guest in from out of town and she explained some of their signature items and took our names and our order. The portions were big, the food was cooked well, and everyone was happy with their meal. My family was super impressed (as was I) with the excellent service especially on such a busy morning. Mary brought our bill and it had a little thank you note at the bottom with all of our names. Such a small thing, but it made a big impression. Thanks Best Bet for killing it once again. If you are reading this, go there and see for yourself, it is awesome.

I was surprised to find out that there was a cute local breakfast & lunch joint just minutes from my apartment that I had never heard of! Everyone else seems to know about it, because if you don't get there early you will most likely be waiting for a table for a bit. We sat at the breakfast bar and had unbeatable service from a sweet gal named Beth. The unlimited toast was great! My biscuits and gravy with fried eggs on too were made perfect. My man ordered some ridiculous breakfast challenge plate that was so enormous that it stirred up conversation with those sitting near us. Their famous breakfast potatoes were o.k...however, they seem pretty popular so it just might not be my thing. Love the poker theme. Will definitely return to this establishment.

Awesome place. Food is good, it's cheap. And all you can eat toast. The Cajun chx sandwich was a bit chewy.

My husband and I decided to grab breakfast together one Thursday morning and I couldn't wait to introduce him to the home cooking at Best Bet. The cinnamon sugar donuts are to die for....warm and fresh. The unlimited toast is also a huge plus. My husband devoured the sausage gravy and biscuits. I had the big flop...two large cuts of local ham grilled, three eggs, and their potatoes. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. If you're looking for gourmet, the keep looking. If you want good 'ol home cooking then this is your place.

My wife introduced me to Best Bet last summer and it has become one of our favorites for breakfast. The biscuits and gravy are great and their Veggie Omelet is full of many vegetables that you won't find anywhere else, very unique and GOOD. The wait sometimes can be up to 15-20 minutes but the food and service is worth the wait.

Will NEVER step foot in this establishment again!!!!! RUDEST owner ever! My mom and I met a family friend for breakfast who we hadn't seen in quite a while. They wouldn't sit us until everyone in our party was there and then as soon as we sat down they seemed inconvenienced by the fact that we didn't already know what we wanted. They were rushing us along the entire time and the owner came by multiple times to tell us they had others waiting (there were 3 other empty tables). Finally the owner came by and took all of our drink glasses and everything off the table--ripped my glass right out of my hand. I have never been treated so poorly in my entire life at a restaurant and would not recommend this place to even my worst enemy. Worst restaurant experience of my life!!!!! Oh and we were ONLY there for 30 minutes....

Wife and I stopped in for Sunday breakfast. A small wait was alleviated by taking two stools at the counter. A very busy joint, finally got our order in and it came quickly. I had a sausage and gravy covered biscuit with two eggs over easy on top. The S&G was kind of bland and not as full bodied as other posters had indicated. Jimmy Dean's version at the store has more flavor. The lady had two eggs over easy, bacon, sausage patty and a pile of potatoes (not really hash browns, more home style). A good value for all that at 8.95. Bacon and sausage were good and potatoes were tasty. Hard to mess up eggs. Forgot to mention the free toast they bring before the meals, a nice touch.

My advice, stand in line. The line moves deceivingly quick. The service is fast and on point.

My eggs, sausage and their special potatoes were delicious; placed in front of me only minutes after ordering. Milkshake sized glass of orange juice plus endless hot coffee and toast served by attentive, friendly service make this a spot not to be missed. The decor and quirky owner may be a problem for some but entertaining to others. Get there early! 4 due to owner, otherwise a 5.

I've been here 30+ times and have typically had a quality breakfast. This is a great little dive that I'm glad that I discovered. Service is always been good, the staff is friendly, and the owner is always trying to make sure things are running as best they can. Pancakes are really good, eggs are consistently cooked well, and the potatoes & homemade sausage are what keep me coming back....

  • Kira T.

Yummy in my tummy! I read the reviews that said there is always such a wait on weekends...but we didn't wait at all! I believe the owner sat us and he seemed pretty cool in my book. The decor is cheesy but unique and I kind of like that its Vegas-type cheesy :) I had the "All-In" and was overwhelmed by its size but it was so freaking good! My husband had some fried eggs, bacon, and potatoes! I love the endless toast basket...a very cool concept. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgable. She even offered that the meats are locally sourced from Myers Frozen Foods in Shelbyville (a local butcher) being that I grew up in Shelbyville and know the Myers family I was thrilled with this! Overall we got very full and had a great time. You never go into breakfast thinking you're going to have fun. The waitress even took our picture asked us our names like we were regulars. I'm ecstatic that we found this place!

The breakfast food here is fantastic, and the wait staff is awesome. But the OWNER is a JERK. Pros - The pancakes are by far the best I've ever had. The meat is from local producers. The wait staff is genuinely friendly. I love this food. Cons - It's loud, and they play the same few concert DVDs on a loop on a really high volume. The owner is not friendly. He berates his wait staff in front of the customers, and is clearly only interested in flipping the tables as soon as he possibly can. We saw him walk up to a table who had just finished their food and say "I'm not rushin' ya, but I've got people waiting." It's too bad this owner is so obnoxious, because I would go here every single weekend if I didn't have to see him.

  • Yebin M.

absolutely love the food at this place the staff is super friendly and it's really a one-of-a-kind. unfortunately the owner can sometimes come off as rude or inconsiderate. I honestly don't think that is his intention most of the time, he just doesn't have the greatest people skills and it leads to awkward moments.

    (4)
  • Pete G.

The wait staff is always friendly. Hash browns are a winner. The man with the jewelry was rude to my brother and me on a Friday. It was just sort of strange. I would recommend eating here but go when the that guy is not around

    (3)
  • Louie L.

I'm a huge fan of breakfast food, but I'm an even bigger fan of great customer service and making a dining experience personal. Every time I go into this little hidden treasure (well, maybe not so hidden anymore, since being spotlighted on the food network), I am greeted by the owners and the wait staff always make it a point to ask everyone's name at the table. If you're new to Best Bet, they will run down the menu and answer any questions that you may have. So, in my opinion, the food will speak for itself, but the service in my experience has added that personal touch that so many restaurants are lacking these days and that's where the 5th star is earned.

  • Angela H.

I really try to put my dollars in the pocket of the local guy. The little guy. The Gipper. After my last experience at Best Bet I would give my last buck to Dick Cheney rather than the angry little gambler that runs Best Bet. My family and I had made Best Bet our Sunday breakfast ritual for 2 years. During this time, the service provided by the wait staff was always warm and friendly. Unfortunately, at the start of 2012 during our weekly Sunday visit we encountered the owner, which I would compare to encountering a gator while wearing a ball gown made of bacon. I arrived a few minutes behind my brother, my 9 month pregnant sister in law, and my 1 year old nephew (who was celebrating his birthday). I sat down and told our server that I wasn't sure I would be eating, but would love a soft drink. My family wasn't even finished with their meal when the owner came to the table, and insisted we pay our check and get a move on. We hadn't even been seated for 40 minutes. Put off and offended by his behavior we paid the bill and immediately left. Disappointed by his behavior and treatment, I decided to call the restaurant following our departure to explain my disappointment. I was cool, kind, and collected. I was basically told by the owner that he did indeed rush us off because, he "needed to flip tables". "If this were Vegas we wouldn't even be able to get a table." I calmly explained that I was disappointed by such treatment by a business owner, but that he had every right to operate his business however he saw fit and that I had the right to spend my hard earned dollars elsewhere. As I was wrapping up the conversation, I said goodbye, but only heard background noise. I said goodbye once again, only to hear background noise. The owner had at some point put the phone down and walked away without the courtesy of properly ending the call. I have spent a large part of my career in the hospitality industry and I know it is a very hard job. I also know that I have never treated a customer poorly and never have I treated a customer rudely. If you can't handle the heat you should get out of your own kitchen I would suggest. I sadly recommend that you stay clear of this establishment. You never know when the owner may shoo off your pregnant wife, your elderly grandmother, or 3 legged rescue dog. For shame sir. For shame. Somewhere Kenny Rodgers is shaking his head in chagrin.

Another great experience at Best Bet. Food was great as usual and the service was even better. Beth was our server and what a surprise! We had our great granddaughter with us....always a handful we were taking cell calls selling our house. Beth brought our food and realizing thatwe were both on calls, cut up the sausage and pancakes for our great granddaughter. Above and beyond but really appreciated. Steve

I can't say enough good things about Best Bet. Again, I judged them by a drive-by instead of reading reviews and am sorry I lost all those months by not going in. I've only eaten off their breakfast menu, but that's all I need. Sunday breakfast there is great. The staff is always friendly and tries to learn your name. If you have to wait for a table, they bring you something to nosh on while you wait. When you get to your table, the server already has a basket of toast in hand for you so you can start eating right away. The gambling theme is carried out nicely in the decor. There's always a poker tournament on TV and oddly, Elvis or Soul Train when I've been there. But Fun! Really nice-sized pancakes that go perfectly with a couple of eggs and their special potatoes. If you live close you should become a regular. If you don't, you should visit at least once.Best Bet is an experience not to be missed

Yummo! You gotta try this place. The food is really, really good. The staff is really nice, and the atmosphere is fun! Its a small place, and usually busy, but we have always had good, friendly service. I like how they ask your name, and treat you like you're a well known friend. Because the place isn't big, you will probably have to wait a bit for a table, but its usually never too long. A few minutes probably, depending on your party size. The host at the door has always been really polite to us, and I've witnessed him try to be very accommodating for a large group of people needing several tables at once. Because they've been so busy when we've been there, we don't sit and linger once we are done eating allowing others to sit at our table...so if that's your thing you might be disappointed. Their food portions are (to me) pretty dang big! The burgers are amazing, and their breakfast looks super good. The never ending toast on the weekends is pretty awesome too (I hear its sugary doughnut holes on the weekdays!) Go! You'll like it!

My husband and I picked this place for breakfast because we'd seen good reviews for it online. Unfortunately, we will not be back to visit Best Bet. The atmosphere was a bit uncomfortable and we felt as though our server couldn't get us fed and out of the door fast enough (minimal seating at this facility). There were people waiting and we felt very rushed. The food was not anything to rave about, nor was the service or atmosphere. While they do try to make you feel 'at home' and comfortable by asking your name when they walk up to your table, that was not enough to get us to return.

Woah! This place is just spectacular. Best Bet has the true feeling of a diner. It has everything you want in an eatery. Including slamming music you can watch live in concert while at the breakfast bar, or snap your fingers to in your seat. Old jams such as "Pretty Woman" and "Rescue Me" filled the atmostphere. From the stack of cards painted on the walls to the casino coins and card decks implanted in the tables, the décor was something to see. I'm tickled Best Bet had a cash out cage you would see at the casino, which is where you pay at when you leave. This place is full of character, has an amazing staff and the food is worth coming back for.

This is one of the best breakfast places in Noblesville and pretty much in the surrounding areas (Carmel, Fishers, Indy). Their staff is very nice and make you feel at home. However, the food is really what makes this place so good! My personal favorite is The Fold - it's the best breakfast burrito I've ever had!

  • Caleb C.

Great staff and average food makes for a 4-star rating. Some of their food is also locally sourced, which is always a bonus. I've only eaten here for lunch, but have done the breakfast-for-lunch thing. Their biscuits and gravy are decent, but I'm judging them against my own personal recipe so I'm not entirely objective--the biscuits are better than the gravy. Their lunch menu is good, too, although the french fries are a bit soggy. The lack of star power in their food is made up by the ultra-friendly staff--not many places ask for and remember the customer's name. This little gem of a family-run diner in the strip mall that Fishers has become is definitely worth a visit.

The Best Bet Breakfast & Lunch is AWESOME! It's my favorite breakfast place. Good for business breakfast meetings with parties of 4 or fewer. The BUTTON sandwich is my favorite breakfast . I've lobbied unsuccessfully to have it referred to as the "Johnny D" Special. You have to go with the Cowboys for lunch. The BEST Cheeseburger in Noblesville. The seasoned fries are great on the side, or Onion rings if you don't have any big appointments for the afternoon. Great, friendly, service and they call everyone by name. The bottomless basket of Cinnamon donuts for breakfast really sets the stage... There is NOTHING healthy there, so it's guilt free... when you walk in the door, you know there's no oatmeal for breakfast or a salad for lunch so ENJOY it.

Am I in Indiana??? How did I not know about this awesome restaurant??? If you are tired of keeping the 20 Cafe Patachous in business, you've gotta try this place...the opposite of Patachou-esque yuppieville, you are greeted by a cool little guy who looks like Squiggy wearing a big chain around his neck and a pair of shades. There is a totally unexpected Vegas theme, with playing cards painted on the walls and casino chips under the glass of the tables. There is staff everywhere, super nice, fun, and attentive. You can get breakfast or lunch at anytime... and it's DELISH!! You just have to see for yourself....you won't believe that you are in Indiana. FUN AND YUMMY!!!

I've had many wonderful experiences at Best Bet. The owners are old-fashioned friendly, and the whole waitstaff goes out of their way to take care of you. The warm, buttery toast is such a great way to start off the day. I love the biscuits and gravy: the biscuits are flaky and rich, the sausage in the gravy is plentiful and just a little spicy (although I always add extra pepper to mine). The pancakes are fluffy but with a nice crisp exterior, and the fruit toppings are fresh. I'm not much of an egg person myself, but my husband and son love the egg scrambles and omelettes. Their portions are huge! There are not many locally-owned diners like this anymore, which is a darned shame. They make you feel like a regular, even if it's your first trip. And judging by how packed they are on weekends, and how people are willing to wait for a table, they have quite a few regulars.

Best breakfast on the north side of Indy, hands down! Unlimited toast is an excellent touch and keeps you from having to decide between toast and pancakes (or having to increase your bill by having to order one as a separate side). The Ava Taters are delicious! And so is the pancake batter (blueberry pancakes are our favorite). The atmosphere is fun and the staff is fast, efficient, and very friendly. Highly recommend this very consistent and well run restaurant for breakfast.

You get a basket of toast when you sit down and pick out what you are having for breakfast, how great is that. I don't think you can find a better breakfast for the cost, not since George's Cozy closed( so sad!!!). Remember to eat well and live well and please no chains!

This place is a GREAT local "greasy spoon" breakfast joint. It's cheap, generous and good food, although not the healthiest. The people who work here are great. If you live in Fishers, you should be a regular.

Burgers are nothing to rave about, particularly. But I'm from Los Angeles and my point of comparison is In&Out and Tommy burgers, so I'm hard to please. Taste and style similar to Five Guys burgers, except less meat than Five Guys and more expensive. The wait staff are very friendly and likeable. They say "see you tomorrow" when customers leave. I found that annoying and presumptuous. Will I go back? Doubtful.

Great little diner with friendly service. We went based on the other reviews and it lived up to the praise - the only thing I will suggest is that if you like hot sauce you best bring you're own because their off brand version does not satisfy. The veggie omelet was good, pancakes were great and the little toast/donut basket that arrives when you sit down was a little slice of heaven. One thing we noticed (and liked) was that the owner was working just as hard as the servers, while at the same time welcoming new customers, heartily greeting regulars and seemingly role-playing a pit boss. I mean, the whole Vegas/poker theme is a little over the top, but mild fun. And if you look past it, Best Bet is an independently owned diner with good food and great service - hard to go wrong.

Wow! I can't believe I'm the first to Yelp this one, but I must say I was really doubtin the place. I limped into the hand (restaurant) because I was hungry (the small blind.) The decor is cheesy Vegas Texas Hold 'Em Poker style with cards painted on the wall with a green table felt color background. (Bunch of rookies at my table, at least I thought.) However, after a while, one actually gets to appreciate how far they go with the theme. (Some decent amateurs at this table) The table numbers are actual playing cards (we were at table 6 of diamonds.) The lighting pendents are vegas card style lights (9 of hearts.) After observing the place and seeing how friendly the dealer (waitress) was (7 of spades), I could say almost say I was all-in blind (before even getting to the flop-the food!.) The food was out of this world good. Totally not healthy, but monumental. I ordered the Ladies (Queen Queen) which is REDICULOUSLY THICK SLICE OF HAM topped with diced onions and pepers and swiss cheese on a sesame seed bun! Yum, yum, yum... Delcioso! (I bet good on the flop-8 of hearts in there, but got reraised, I call the action.) I got the "Cajun" fries which were too spicy for me, but just ate off everyone elses regular fries. (Check on the turn-another 8, chance of a full house or straight! Another raise, I reraise cause I got two queens and two outside straight draws.) However, the fries were LUDICROUSLY THICKLY CUT PIECES OF POTATO fried with the skin still on! (The third 8! I'm ALL IN!) Viva Las Vegas (yes they play a rediculous amount of Elvis songs, but it completed the theme.) Unfortunately my two Queens ran into the actual friendly restaurant owners Pocket Rockets (Ace Ace) and I busted out of my chips and had to pay the man, but, man, what a hand! Even the cash register up front has a money cage around it which actually completed the theme. Not bad for two people and the word famous unlimited toast basket!

Ok. What happen to be nice to the customer???? NOT THE BEST BET Today I took my 11 year old daughter to eat at Best Bet. We have never been here before. I walked in about 10:15AM, the sign by the door said, please seat yourself, so we did. Then a very 'rude' man came over and said, in a loud voice, we were NOT suppose to seat ourselves, and I was lucky there wasn't a line out the door. That we would have been mobbed for doing such a thing. Well first, there was NO LINE, not even one other person, and second the sign did say 'seat yourself'. What a great welcome party this guy was, Wearing dark sun glasses and a shirt hanging out, and a not friendly nature!!!! Just as I was about to get up and leave, because I was really taken back by this mans attitude. A very nice waitress named Beth, came over and apologized. She said he ( 'rude man') didn't realize the sign had been turned around. Oh well, I don't think that is an excuse to be loud and rude regardless..... We stayed for breakfast only because of the waitress being so nice. Food was ok, nothing to rave about, service from Beth was very good. My daughter made the remark when we left that the 'weird' guy kept looking at us and gave her the creeps. Will we go back? As nice as Beth was, no, probably not. I hope others have a better experience, and I hope that very nice waitress is appreciated by other. NOT THE BEST BET BY ANY MEANS

My fiance and I recently moved to the area and decided to eat here for breakfast.... we were more than impressed!! We sat at the "bar"/ counter where we could watch them cook. Our service was excellent... they even asked our names and remembered them throughout the visit. Portions are huge! And, the food is AWESOME! I had their new breakfast tacos and my fiance had the biscuits and gravy! Their potatoes are AWESOME! Both of us walked away completely full and satisfied... we even called some people we know to rave about it!! The restaurant should definitely be on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives! And, we will definitely be going back... quite often!!

Nice place. Neat Vegas poker theme. Waitreses happy and helpful and immediately bring a free offering of toast. Owner seemed genuinely pleased that we were there. Food was great -- tested the burritos and the blueberry pancakes -- both delicious. Both helpings were big -- actually bigger than you need for breakfast Restaurant was full at 12:30 p.m, but we sat at the counter and that was fine. This is a great option for breakfast.

My Husband and I love this little place! We also experience great customer service! This is a smaller place, so most of the time there will be a wait! But if you are willing to wait around for a little while you will not be disappointed!

Only weight concerns keep me from eating here every single weekend. They have a couple of outstanding burgers - the cajun burger and a double-decker that blows away Frisch's' version and obliterates the one the clown sells - and the "All-in" breakfast plate is a wonderful, better-go-ahead-and-get-your-to-go-box-now massive pile of ham, sausage, egg, cheese, peppers, onions and remarkably tasty fried potatoes. I have no idea about everything else because frankly, I could eat those three meals for the rest of my life and be happy.

I love the food here. The pancakes are sweet and huge! The omlets have always been well cooked and their breakfast potatoes are wonderful. The unlimited toast basket is a great touch. The staff is well trained and very friendly. The place is small so be ready to stand in line for a little while on the weekends.
