Simply the most delicious doughnuts in the world!! None better! I love the texture and consistency and the delicate, light, fluffy, texture of the doughnuts! Their doughnuts are the greatest! They also have a lunch counter where they have a simple menu, with regulars drinking coffee and swapping stories about the fish that got away. KINZERS is a Monticello mainstay that I hope sticks around for years to come!

I stop here often on my way home from work. It's usually around 4am - that's when they are just putting the freshly baked & iced donuts out. I usually get 4 & it costs about $3 or less depending on the type of donuts. Always fresh & melt in your mouth! They also serve lunched if that interests you. Still good & inexpensive. You just have to stop if in the area!

When Jon C and I lived in Monticello, we stopped here in the morning for muffins. Their muffins.. how I miss thee. From luscious moist good-for-ya morning muffins, to blueberry muffins, to (moan) cherry walnut muffins. Moist. Not obscenely large, just the right size. Their fruit muffins are not too sweet. This is tremendously important, because when fruit muffins are overly sweetened, the taste and sweet from the fruit is lost. Cinnamon buns. I'm not ashamed or embarrassed to admit that I have dreams about them still. Some bakeries have this prejudice against using lots of cinnamon in their products. Kinser's has no such bias... If you like cinnamon, you need their cinnamon buns/donuts/whatever has cinnamon that they have baked that morning. When we ate lunch here, we liked their Italian chicken sandwich. Simply spiced chicken breast, put on a bun and served with a smile and 'here ya go enjoy' Kinser's was our second home for a very long time. We went back there 2 anniversaries ago, and the staff still remembered us. That was 150 and 200lbs ago, through a bunch of hair and body and style changes. And they still remembered us and smiled brighter than ever.

Kinser's is well known locally for excellent baked goods. It's also a regular destination for locals looking for coffee and donuts.

Mainly known to locals but as a summer resident love it! Love to pick up baked goods for company or stop in for a sandwhich.
