Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. GOOD FOR SOME BEERS, BALLGAMES BJ Winger's offers Monticello a local sports bar environment with several TVs and a handful of beers on tap. The food was okay (at least on my visit), but unless they're usually somehow better, the wings probably couldn't compete in larger markets and wouldn't be what you'd expect from a place called BJ Wingers. Despite being the namesake menu item, BJ's wings tasted like frozen, pre-seasoned tenders SWIMMING in Buffalo sauce... and unfortunately the seasoned breading and the Buffalo sauce didn't go well together. What BJ Wingers didn't offer in tasty food, they made up for in friendly service. Since a customer's experience and reaction is what it's all about, I'd tell friends the place is probably good for some beers and a ballgame, but maybe eat before you go.

I have been visiting Monticello, Indiana for ten years and never found a sports bar...until now. BJ Wingers is exactly what Monticello needs. It's not a fancy place, but clean and has, I guess, like twenty beers on tap. They also have about the same amount of TV's. Service is very friendly and prices are good. But the best thing was the food. I was REALLY surprised when I ordered a burger and fries. The burger was delicious! I mean really good. Maybe I was expecting the usual bar fare. A couple of beers, a Blackhawks game and a great burger... I'm hooked. and only cost be twenty bucks.

Best draft beer selection in monticello. Very new business so still working out kinks.Wings are nice sized, and sauces good. Prices are just right. NFL package so they have everygame on. Stop in and give it a try!

I never dined at BJ Wingers under the previous owners because of so many negative reviews from the locals, but when I heard that the owners of The Brass Buckle in Wolcott, IN bought BJ Wingers, I figured the food had to comparable to The Brass Buckle. I was not disappointed. Instead of the frozen foods the previous owners heated up and served, the new owners do everything fresh, including the chicken wings, onion strings and hamburger that we ordered. Everything we had was delicious, especially the onion strings. The soda and ice tea were $1.99 each with unlimited refills. The 8 boneless, Jamaican Jerk chicken was around $8.00, and the hamburger with onion strings was $10.00. The prices are higher than diners, but comparable to places like the Sportsman Inn whose food I think is of similar, higher quality than all the diners in town. I realize they bought an existing business that had been rehabbed by the previous owners, so I can't blame them for the flat screen tvs that are mounted way too high on the walls (like a foot below the high ceiling), or the lack of volume dampeners on the ceiling to contain the noise from the patrons and the hard surfaces throughout the building. It was Sunday at 1:30 PM, and the Colts and Bears weren't playing so we had the place to ourselves, and the waitress to ourselves which was nice. The waitress took our orders promptly, our food came in 10 minutes, our drinks were constantly refilled, and we were done and out in less than 45 minutes to pursue our summer activities. We will definitely be regulars for lunch on the weekends.

Are you kidding me this place is still operating. They are a family who did construction failed at it and decided to open a sports bar. They can't get enough ppl to come to keep dinning room open. So if u bring your family you sit in bar area and listen to all the drunks carry on especially the owner he get drunk and rowdy in front of customers. The service is horrid all the food is straight from a box to the flattop or fryer. Give it time they will fail in the restaurant bussiness too. If you want good wings and beer try Scoreboards across from the Hubbard GM Center.

As a party of 4 on a business trip we ended up stopping here for dinner and some cocktails. The pizza was tasty and because it was shortly after Labor Day there wasn't a lot of people there. We had our pizza and then found a putt- putt golf course outside so played a round for free. Three of us were outside and one of our party stayed inside and a regular or the owner, I'm not sure who, bought shots for the girl that stayed inside. When we returned inside the shots had taken effect and it was time to leave, we had a DD I paid the bill and told the others to leave the tip went to the bathroom and when I returned the bartender ( Jill ) complained that I didn't tip her and proceeded to tell me to leave, my mouth fell open and I walked out. In all fairness the girl was over served but an adult and when there was a disagreement in the parking lot about who was driving the same guys that contributed to the conflict were too happy to call the police on us. The police were considerate and professional and after a few minutes sent us on our way. I would not come back here on return trips
