Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Smiths downtown was so cool. Super laid back feel without being "hole in the wall" status. I seriously can't wait to go back. When someone suggested lunch here today, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Then someone said "famous shaved prime rib sandwiches with au Ju" .... and then I knew to expect greatness. I put provolone cheese and mushrooms on mine but you can put whatever you want on yours The bread was buttery and somehow crispy on the edges. The decor was vintage-y and placed in a way that I could get a good look at the old school beer signs and memorabilia (read not cluttered). The service was just right and overall it was a relaxing experience. The only weird thing is that I didn't get a bill.... The server just read out the totals to everyone at the table... Sorta odd. I can't wait to visit again.... I saw some cool old arcade games I want to play and of course war another famous shaved prime rib sandwich.

Firstly, it's a bar. Not a pub, not a restaurant. I live fairly close by so I do throw it some business. Locally-owned by Ryan Smith. He's not Mr. Personality and doesn't try to be. After a few visits here I suggested they offer some healthier options on the menu....His comment? It's a damn bar! Food is okay....sandwiches are best option imo. Pizza tastes straight out of frozen box...appetizers are very average. With that being said, they have pretty decent beer selection. Most of the bartenders are friendly and nice....not all, but most. Live music on weekends upstairs. The best thing about Smith's is its close to home and locally-owned. **Bonus...Super clean restrooms!

I've driven past this place hundreds of times and never stopped. We were told recently to come check it out so we bought a groupon and came. We couldn't have been more impressed! The sandwiches were amazing, and HUGE! Mancino's has nothing on these baked sandwiches! There was a band there tonight too, which was great and played awesome music. Smith's is a must for any Mishawaka resident, especially one who is tired of Grape Rd. chains!

Best sandwiches in town, hands down! This isn't subway, you're gonna pay more, but it's worth it. Loaded up on a specialty bread and obvious its top notch ingredients! We got there early in their evening, so there was only one waitress in the downstairs dining area. She worked her butt off though and kept us refilled and orders taken and food served quickly! This was my second time there, and I'll be back again! Diners, don't be scared off by bands carrying in equipment and an edgy crowd coming and going. They're all very friendly and set up musical acts upstairs. Great place Smiths, and so glad Mishawaka has this secret jewel right downtown!

If your in the mood to do...anything in Mishawaka, whether it's drinks, dining with friends or family, big name concerts, DJs, sporting event, karaoke with the family, our just need to get away for a few minutes just to hang out with kewl people, then Smith's Downtown its the place to hang. The big surprise here is the variety of mega-sandwiches to choose from, as well as the variety of means and combination of to choose for your sandwiches. The first time I tried capicola was here. It's an awesome flavor. But the flavor of the LB sandwich just explodes with an eye-rolling, drool-dripping experience.

Ended up going here for one of the many St. Patrick's Day events. The bartender on the first floor was rude. She didn't even want to acknowledge us when when we were waiting to get drinks, as if it was such a hassle. She wasn't even busy. So when we ordered our drinks later on in the night we went to the bar on the 2nd floor, which was beyond busy but it was much more friendlier service up there. I did not enjoy the smoking inside the establishment because I left smelling like an ashtray. Overall it was an enjoyable time. I hope to get a better experience with a much friendlier bartender.

We tried Smith's because we have a huge restaurant.com credit, and they've recently started using that service. I really wanted to like it as we try to patronize locally-owned restaurants nearly exclusively, but I guess we'll stick to Roc's if we're in Downtown Mishawaka (best burger in town). The bread was great - it's from Country Bake Shop - not made on site. Everything else about the sandwiches was mediocre at best. The turkey was super-processed, and the bacon was cold and greasy. My ten-year-old nephew make more creative and tasty nachos. The place needs some charm, also; it's not an inviting environment at all - nondescript tables (bare), nondescript chairs, mostly bare walls, boring beige paint. The staff was attentive and nice, but that's about all this place had going for it. It comes off like the owner wanted a bar and threw in food as an afterthought. Drop in for a beer if you'd like, but skip the food unless you're about to faint from hunger.

If you want something really good here, go for the shaved prime rib. My God. Very good beer selection. Nice bartenders. Good conversation. What's not to like?
