Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

I really enjoy the atmosphere and service here. I will always support a local business over a chain. My greatest wish is that there were more gluten-free options. The pizza looks so delicious, but I can only imagine. Offer a GF crust option and this review would certainly skyrocket to a 5!

Seated immediately. Drinks arrive immediately. Dough balls for kids. Bread and oil for everyone. Salads were exceptional. Smokin Goodfella is one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. Service has been great and the za is fabulous!

Good food. A tad pricey - $50 for 2 adults and 2 kids. This place needs a hostess. We stood at the entry for 10 minutes. All in all, a good experience.

Wonderful pizza! The one with eggplant is one of my favorites. If it's busy, I definitely recommend sitting on the bar side.

Let's start with the positives first: Deep fried grilled cheese rocked my world, highly recommended! The restaurant was a bit warm inside but a server who was not assigned our table was quick to turn on the ceiling fans and set up an oscillating fan that blew sweet AC perfectly in our direction. Now the negatives: I ordered shrimp pasta which was very creamy but overpriced and did not include bread or salad. And the service... very slow. We wished the server who assisted with the fan was ours since she ended up refilling our drinks and we even had to ask her to take our payment to our actual server since she was nowhere to be found. Overall the experience fulfilled my craving for Italian food but it wasn't something I would rave about.

They changed the decor from last time I was here, I like it better. The pizza was tasty we tried two that had the ribbons and we're pretty good. Love the fact that they gave the kids play dough, which made it very entertaining. Good atmosphere and good food highly recommend it.

After seeing the reviews we gave Goodfella's a try. The pizza we got was not good. The crust was soggy. The staff stated that this was common with pizzas that had multiple toppings. Unacceptable

Best kept secret in the area!! Always our go to place in the area. Pizza is fantastic and veggie toppings always fresh. Italian fare is extremely well done. Best Bruschetta in the the Indianapolis area.

Ordered a pie for carryout, done in 20 minutes, tasted great with very quality ingredients. The crust is Italian style thin crust, so not overly filling and is light and tasty. They have a side door to make picking up a carryout order easy. I will definitely try them again soon.

Broad range of Italian dishes and sandwiches but the service was awful. We had Chicken Parma, Italian Sub and kids Ravoli... All decent. Very disappointed with service.

I have to admit, being from Chicago, I am extremely biased of any pizza in Indy. I will say that this place is pretty amazing. I stopped in with a buddy after running some errands around Fishers and this place was amazing. The Italian style pizzas cooked in their brick oven were amazing and judging by the amount of people coming in to pick up pizzas, I would say that others agree. I can't really speak for the restaurant area because we sat at the bar and watched whatever game was on. I would suggest Good Fella's to any pizza lover that likes thin Italian style pizza.

Had Pasta with sausage and red sauce. Pasta was over cooked but still pretty good. Great fresh bread served and the wait service was very good.
