I had the vegetarian sandwich with sweet potato fries; absolutely delicious! Also one of the best cannolis I've ever had.

Today, Noel, Tony and I happened across this lovely historic town called MADISON on the OHIO River in Indiana..about 40 minutes from the Ohio River crossing at Louisville. .. I fell in love with this town...streets and streets of historical homes and buildings. Blocks and Blocks of lovely churches, shops and buildings..I have to go back here again... Meanwhile, we found this little family restaurant on MAIN Street and it was near the Ohio Theater...looked so quaint and antique on the outside..I love the buildings and architecture in this town is AWESOME!!! So, we parked...Free on the street parking everywhere and NO pay parking lots...nice old town feel.. We went into the restaurant...AND IMMEDIATELY I was disappointed...they had remodeled the building interior and it was all modern...I was wanting to see old town charm...tin ceilings dark wood, candles and romantic Italian feel and elegance..but NOT....it looked like a typical restaurant... Oh well...So we were immediately seated and given menus. We also gave a drink orders, tea for Noel and I and Budweiser Draft for Tony..Tony and I ordered a flatbread veggie small pizza, Noel ordered Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo with some dinner rolls for the table..We had a nice lunch..it was only $30 with tip and taxes..I would eat here again...Maybe but there are too many places to check out if we ever come here again..

have had less than stellar experiences here in the past. but this visit was better. my wife and our mothers had the sautéed chicken. i had the chicken parm. it was all good. my wife especially likes the basmati rice here. service was acceptable.

The pizza was ok. This is the only reason it's not a one star. Pasta carbonara was a pasta milkshake. Literally no taste and LITERALLY drowned in milk not even sauce. Couldn't believe they actually prepared it like that or maybe they didn't think we knew what a pasta dish is supposed to be. They should be embarrassed to put out food like that. Like a first year college student trying to make a dish with for the first time on their own.

The food here is really good! I hat the chicken Alfredo with a tea. I was hoping the inside was the original style but it's was remodeled. I wasn't too happy about that but it was a Nice restaurant. I liked it alot

Franco's is a nice place to go if you want to have more of an upscale night out. The pasta is great, I would recommend the Pesto. Most sides range from $10-$15, so don't think you eating cheap here. I would recommend it for people wanting a pleasent dining experience.

Great authentic Italian food, Franco, the owner, is from Genoa. Had a pleasant conversation regarding his California wine we were drinking. Could not be more content!

Went here for dinner with my wife & teenage daughter. Decor was not the best but service we received was outstanding. All our food was good and my daughter can't stop talking about the bread rolls. Not high end Italian but an affordable family dinner that hit the spot. We'll be coming back again.

This place has a comfortable old Italian restaurant feel. Good place to eat breakfast. The pancakes are huge and very filling. Hashbrowns and bacon were good. It's a good thing I will be walking most of the day so I can burn some of these calories. The service was excellent and pretty fast.

The Puttenesca is the only dish we order. It is AWESOME and deserves a 5 star. I can't wait to have it again. But, I rate it 4 stars because the salad is ho hum and the bread is "really too bad". I don't know how a restaurant that makes such divine puttenesca can serve it with such bad bread.

I stumbled across this restaurant after the bistro across the street where I was planning to eat lunch was unexpectedly closed. First off, if you are in a rush, this is not your ideal restaurant. Everything is made to order, and the dishes are as authentic-Italian as it gets. The pasta bolognese was delicious, but be warned, if you are hungry, get the dinner portions. Lunch size portions are very small. This is a family owned restaurant, and the son was our waiter while his father cooked all the food. Again, so authentic that they didn't even speak English to each other in the kitchen, all Italian, all the time. I highly recommend this restaurant for some quality Italian, especially in a town like Madison.

Maybe the other dishes on the menu are better, but our raviolis with marinara sauce left something to be desired. The sauce was more like tomato soup.
