So this Subway is just as good as any other subway with one big shortfall. I stopped by around lunch time and They didn't seem to have quite the staff that is needed to get through a line. There were a good amount of people there which leads me to believe that it is regularly popular... The lines just took SO long. It shouldn't take me 20 min to get a sub. Other than that it was clean and everything tasted great. Hopefully it was just a bad day for them that I stopped by.

Stopped by this new location on the east side of the exit (rte 26) for Lafayette on our way up to Chicago. This is by far one of the cleanest Subway locations we've been to, and with some of the most friendly and helpful staff. I would have to say this location ranks in the top 5 of all Subways we've visited over the years. They have everything we like (veggie patties, spinach, etc.), clean, friendly, pretty much the real deal. Much enjoy.

Hint: if you're trying to find the Subway based on the signs off the highway for the exit and feel like you're driving a bit far, notice that this is on Meier Dr. That is, it is located by the Meier, which you probably won't miss. That said, I'm sure most people aren't really looking at Yelp reviews to decide your rest stop. If you are, this is a good one for a road trip break! Also, you should check-in for the free cookie offer. Similar to another reviewer, the cashier told me about not being able to redeem coupons on the phone, but I showed her how the free cookie offer showed up for the location and how I could click redeem. I got a delicious gingerbread cookie. You can't get those everywhere! Unlike other Subways I've visited, this location had glass that could be lowered over the food when not in use. Not sure if that makes sense without seeing it, but basically the meat, cheese, and veggies are not exposed to all the air when no one is ordering a sandwich. I thought it looked cool and also probably helped maintain the quality of our pre-packaged sandwich fixin's. I'm for whatever keeps that freshness, for sure. Lastly, I want to note that there was a collection for presents to support less fortunate families in the community, and paper snowflakes in the window showed names of people who donated. While I didn't donate myself, I appreciated that the Subway location got involved in the community.

It's Subway. One thing that really grossed me out and I should have said something was that the guy making my sandwich didn't change his gloves after sweeping the floor. Like he was sweeping the floor with gloves and then made my sandwich with the same gloves. Come on people, you're dealing with people's food. Wash your hands!

Food was fresh and delicious, and the typical Subway fare. Staff was friendly and the location was clean. When you check in on your yelp app, you get a free cookie. One little snag in the experience was with the free cookie - one employee said something about them not accepting that deal if it was on a phone................ how is one to redeem this offer if not with a smart phone? We were able to get our cookie without much hullabaloo, though.

Just another Subway, but for some weird reason, this one did not have grated mozzarella cheese. How strange. Service was nice. Dining area was clean.
