Honestly, a couple years ago, I would have given 1 or 2 stars. The last few times, the service as well as quality and quantity of food have been good and consistent. I went right before 5PM on a weekday and the place was still rather slow. That might have actually been a good thing because I think they were flirting with disaster as far as their staffing levels are concerned. The prices are decent and affordable for what you get.

Having Bob Evans in town (which I never had on the west coast), IHOP has fallen in my estimation. However, I had a serious pancake craving yesterday, so fiance and I headed to our neighborhood IHOP to carb up. After finally getting through to the hostess--no, there wasn't a crowd, I'm pretty sure she was on something--our wait wasn't long. We were seated, and a server brought us drinks. A while later, another server came up and took our order. When I asked about the price of a side, I appreciated that the server was upfront with me; instead of saying it was "a little extra" she let me know it was $5 and said it probably wasn't worth it. The service was mediocre, though it was graduation weekend. The food was what I found most disappointing. After my amazing experience at an Indianapolis Bob Evans recently (ohhh... loaded hash browns...), I guess my expectations of breakfast restaurants have skyrocketed. I got the "pick a pancake" breakfast with strawberry banana pancakes. Ugh, were they disgusting--typical sugary filling and sliced bananas just dumped right on top of some pancakes, along with a huge blob of whipped cream. The eggs, hash browns and sausage were also mediocre. We had to hunt down our server for refills & to-go drinks, and were overcharged for the size of juice we ordered. I also didn't appreciate how close we were to everyone else in the restaurant; I really didn't need to hear every intimate detail of other dining patrons' conversations. All in all, I think I'll just stick with Bob Evans from here on out.

The food was OK but the service was slow. My Ham and Cheese omlette was annoying overflowed with cheese. My girlfriend's Two X Two plate came with eggs that were already cold. Our waiter rarely came to check on us. With so many other options such as Dennys, Bob Evans, Cracker Barrel and Hour Time I won't be going back!

Not often I have a chance to sit down at an Ihop in the middle of Indiana. I have to say I was impressed. Ihop has gotten a bad name because the ones in Illinois are substandard. The service was overwhelmingly helpful I was not used to this behavior at Ihop. The food was eatable the coffee was fine and overall seemed like everyone was content. All the waitresses were friendly and polite and the restaurant was clean. Illinois Ihop I hope your reading this because we need to do a better job running our Ihops. Thank you

It was graduation weekend in our college town, this place was iHoppin'. I'm glad they got rid of the smoking room! The building is decently clean and the service was nice. just... nice. My waffle with apple compote was decent enough, I'm not sure it was worth 13 bucks for that and an OJ though. The butter Pecan syrup is actually very good. My sister's yummy multigrain pancakes with cinnamon and nuts was delicious. just not impressed by this place when so many home cookin' cafes and diners are in town.

I have been to this particular Ihop many times. Always get the Grain and Nut pancakes. Love them!!! THIS time, however, was a different story. I ate about half of my pancakes and about an hour after developed an upset stomach. The situation "degraded" from there. Don't think I'll have those anymore.

Overcharged. I went to this IHOP several weeks ago and knew I was overcharged but I wanted to wait till I visited another IHOP to see the menu again. That confirmed that I was overcharged here. I ordered one of my favorites which is the pancake combo which includes any of their flavored pancakes so I ordered the peach pancakes with my combo meal. When I was paying, I noticed my server added on an additional $0.99 for the peach pancakes. I asked at the cash register but the girl didn't know so she asked my server. I knew it wasn't right because I have ordered the same meal at many IHOPs across the country and was never charged extra. The girl came back and said my server said it was because I ordered the peach pancakes and that was her reason for adding on extra to my bill. This was wrong but I didn't want to argue with the entire staff. Some workers obviously don't know the menu and add more money on to your bill. CHECK YOUR BILL CAREFULLY AT THIS IHOP!!!! ASK FOR A MENU TO PROVE YOU'VE BEEN OVER CHARGED. I STILL HAVE MY RECEIPT IF ANYONE AT IHOP READS THESE. The food was good as is with most IHOPS. WHY FIGHT OVER $0.99 when this review serves the purpose. Maybe the staff just needs to be trained better.

It's an IHOP, what do you expect? No one in their right mind should give an IHOP 5 stars. It's affordable, it's quick, it's loud and perfect for a family with a toddler who puts 1/2 his food on the floor. Though they're a chain of breakfast goodies, it'd be nice if the pancakes tasted like anything before adding one of 5 syrup offerings. Then again, it's IHOP (I keep forgetting and setting those expectations too high). Do you need to eat breakfast quickly and want to get back to whatever you were doing pretty quickly w/o breaking a bank? Go to IHOP. No mess, full stomach. We all win.

Everything was done according to IHOP standards (or any breakfast place)... No complains. :) ariana (our server) was really helpful too.

I have been to plenty of IHOPs before and this location is one of the worst. My girlfriend and I were going out for Labor Day and IHOP was open for breakfast. It was packed but we were seated right away. I ordered the 2x2x2 and she ordered a strawberries and creme crepe combo. When my food arrived, I didn't bother taking pictures as it was an average American breakfast. However, I did take a picture of the eggs because they were disgusting. I like my eggs over medium with a liquid yolk. But when I started eating my eggs, they were clearly raw. There were uncooked egg whites all over and I just tossed it to the side. My partner's dish was also a disaster. The waitress first brought over waffles that we didn't order. It took 20 mins to get it corrected. I was already done eating when her food came. It also had the same disgusting raw over medium eggs. Pancakes were alright though. Took us 1.5 hours just to grab breakfast. Worst IHOP experience ever. Service is terrible.

After a week of her dropping hints every time an Ihop commercial came on TV Tyler and i decided to treat his grandmother to a brunch there (she had a hankering for some pancakes!) I was surprised by the low star reviews that this location had. Sure, it is nothing gourmet but service was fast and friendly and the food was enjoyable. I had the chicken fajita omelette and it was super yummy!

Been there twice now in two months time. Both times had bad food and slow service! Next time save your money and go elsewhere!! No reason to to overpay for bad food!!

For 24 hour food establishment their service during the early hours of the morning has been a bit lacking the last 5 times I've gone. We're talking cold food, food cooked/prepared incorrectly, etc. I go back and revisit because I do like their food and hope that things have improved but it just doesn't seem to be the case. If you do go, visit during common meal times and not between 10pm and 6am for the best experience possible.

Pretty big menu, the breakfast food is good and should be it's a breakfast place! I got the Pancake combo ham eggs and hashbrowns, and blueberry pancakes yum! Pretty good service.

We visited during a very busy Sunday brunch period, but were seated within the 10 minutes quoted; they seemed to be able to turn over tables fairly quickly. In an effort to eat healthy, I ordered the Simple & Fit veggie omelette, which had more spinach and mushroom than eggs...perfectly fine by mine. I recommend sprucing up the omelette with a side of salsa. To sabotage my attempt at healthiness, I subbed an order of Harvest Grain & Nut pancakes for the fruit salad. The pancakes' nuts and oats tasted delicious drizzled with a mix of the regular and butter pecan syrups. My partner enjoyed his regular pancakes also, and side of sausage links. We had two servers, one in training, and they were friendly and adequate (beyond letting our coffee mug go empty). Overall decent IHOP, average-to-good tasting breakfast food.

Can't seem to find a better pancake anywhere other than an IHOP. My biggest complaint about this location is the temperature inside. Whether it is summer or the middle of winter, it is always uncomfortably cold inside. My suggestion is to always take a sweatshirt when dining at this location.

IHOP is one of those "best of the worst" kind of places. You know you arent eating healthy in any way, but its miles better than McDonalds. We stopped at this location for breakfast. I ordered some combo thing which was eggs, hash browns, bacon and came with a side of pancakes. What I came away from this experience was- -service at this location was great! very pleased all around -IHOP actually makes drinkable coffee! Who knew. -I wish they offered real maple syrup because they make a mean pancake. I will eat them plain but its less fun that way. -Never order anything egg. The cooks have obviously perfected the pancake and have no desire to expand out from that. Every egg dish I have ever had has been horrible. Especially poached. Dont go there. You have been warned.

Not the best breakfast in town, but far from the worst. I had the Breakfast sampler, food was enjoyable but not standout. Service was also well within acceptable boundaries. A good place to grab breakfast if you are close by.
