When my drink was refilled I was given somene else's dirty glass unfortunately I didn't see a lemon beneath the ice (there was no lemon in my original glass) until after I took a drink. When I complained that I was given the wrong glass the waitress just laughed. I then went to the register and complained, the woman at the register said she was sorry then she laughed, I informed her she may think it's funny when someone drinks out of someone else's dirty glass but I don't. Go to this buffet at your own risk I can only imagine how dirty it is behind the scenes when they laugh in your face after making such a disgusting mistake.

My family and I went Sunday December 22, 2013. Had an AWESOME experience! The server, a Phillipino, male, was EXTRAORDINARY!!! We loved the sushi, the Hibachi, and a majority of everything being served. We may not have liked everything that was on the menu. Yet, that is LIFE!!! Everyone has their own taste, recipe, etc. for something and if we didn't like it...OH WELL! :) :) :) Thank you Hibachi Grill Supreme Buffet! Louis L Boroff

For the price of the dinner buffet, it was reasonable. The variety was huge and a few different ethnic food. There is the fresh hibachi grill food made to order which I did not try. Lots of ice cream flavors I did not get to try. The sushi was not labeled so I did not try any. Of the food I ate, I had warmer and better. The fruit was fresh and the egg drop soup was great. The flavors of the meats were sometimes bland. Kid friendly with a balloon. The location is central. Among the buffets in Kokomo, I believe I would return to this restaurant.

I would have given this place one star but to be fair I have had worse Chinese buffet before. Started out with Sushi. Some pieces were luke-warm, which was kinda gross especially considering that the place was packed. That suggests that the proteins for the sushi had been sitting somewhere in the kitchen for a while before being brought out to the sushi maker. The rest of the sushi was typical of what you would find on your average, mid-western chinese buffet. I decided to try out the hibachi grill (mongolian bbq at best). The rib eye that I selected was tough and the fat was chewy. Didn't have a that great of a selection of noodles or vegetables. Also, I asked for some teriyaki sauce and no one knew what I was talking about. I thought, "hmm, a restaurant that labels itself hibachi grill and yet no one knows what teriyaki sauce is." Crab rangoon was way too sweet as was the thai chicken, hibachi chicken, and treasure shrimp. The spare ribs tasted like they had been reheated from frozen. The one good thing I tried was the stuffed scallops and I'm not even sure if it had any scallops in it. Crab with cheese and cheese spinach were bland and greasy. For dessert I had macaroons (delicious), some sort of pastry that tasted like ginger snaps(good), banana pudding (awful), cookies and cream (awful). Fortune cookies were probably one of the best parts of this whole experience. In all I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I will probably never go back. However, there were a couple of good surprises about the place. The decor, while garish, was nicer than any other Chinese buffet that I've been to. The fountain was pretty. The other surprise was service. Although it wasn't overly friendly, they were very fast with clearing tables and refilling drinks. Against my better judgment, I left the girl a $2 tip. Total bill was $19 and change including tip and one drink.

Had heard several people recommend this place and was really surprised. Lots to choose from from American, Chinese, and Japanese. What I had was really good and was looked upon by our waitress often. Would like to have seen some more tables in oppose to booths but will go back again. Price is reasonable. Family place to take children.

As a former resident of Kokomo who still has family there, I don't expect much from buffets anymore. Our chinese/asian buffet of choice has always been Great Wall, though it's kind of icky if you take a step back and look at it. It's worn down, greasy, and the food sits out for too long, so that's what I was expecting here. I'm pleased to say I was absolutely wrong. The inside of Hibachi is brand new and extremely clean. It's also somewhat modern-asian inspired. When you enter, you pay for your buffet at the cashier like most places (by the way, only ~$6 for lunch? That's insane.) You take your receipt to the hostess who seats you, and a waitress refills your drinks and removes your plates throughout the visit. The buffet itself is astounding. Whereas many asian buffets in the area have maybe 3 or 4 stations, Hibachi has maybe 12. They have a huge assortment of different "chinese food" dishes that you might want, including all the bases of dishes (rice, different noodles), and lots of different types of meat - standards like sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, beef, etc, as well as different items like garlic shrimp and seafood trio). They also have some non-asian things like a baked ham station, macaroni and cheese, wings - lots of things you might see on an asian buffet as an alternative, but these don't seem to be an after thought. And when you glance around the different food items, I never once thought to myself "ew that looks disgusting", like it had been sitting around a while. Everything looked fresh with good color. Hibachi's buffet also includes sushi and the grill. At the grill you put together your own plate from very fresh-looking proteins and veggies and they'll cook it up for you. The sushi is decent, about the same level or so as a grocery chain's sushi. If you've been to The Journey in Indianapolis, I'd say the sushi is comparative. I guess if you have a sushi chef that works at a buffet and the sushi sits out, it'll end up about the same quality. It definitely was a good temperature though, and it had a good flavor. I did think the hard dip ice cream station was a bit weird. I spent a number of years in high school and college working for a place where I had to dip ice cream like that and when you get into the bottom, your hand starts to get sticky from hitting the sides. I don't think people will like that. One other reviewer was complaining about the scooper sitting in murky water. I'll say the water is just to keep the scooper warm and slippery (that's what she said) , and the water isn't supposed to be murky. The waterwell the scooper sits in pretty much is suppose to have a slow drizzle of water that automatically drains so it stays fresh. I kept seeing people turning off the water when they would come up to that station, and I saw workers turn it back on. So blame that partially on morons that turn things off without thinking, though I don't think this station will last into the next year. Overall, Hibachi is definitely going to be the asian buffet of choice in Kokomo. I just hope it doesn't end up getting run down and trashed like other places in Kokomo.
Seems to be a new chain, or at least new to this area, have eaten in their Mishawaka and Ft Wayne locations. Food is better than usual chinese buffet, large selection of dishes, well done, especially liked the seafood and sushi selections. Clean, fresh look, good service. Great salad, desert selections also. Best Chinese buffet I've been at, especially considering it's a chain.

I was actually surprised that there was something like this in such a small town. They have fixed rates (under $10 dollars for lunch, wtheck!). There's such a large variety of food here, with a huge bar dedicated to desserts. I really had to restrict myself not to eat till the point of throwing up... good thing my boyfriend's father was sitting right across from me. Some of the things I especially liked was the steamed mushrooms in oyster sauce, the stuffed crab shells, and the pepper steak. My boyfriend loved the tamago at the sushi bar (there's not that much sashimi, and I don't think it was the best I've ever had) because the tamago was supppppppper thick, and the slabs were huge and eggy. They do have korean kimbap though (I still like my mom's more.) You order drinks at the bar, including soda, as you walk in the door before you're seated. Not a bad deal and worth trying out if you're really hungry and ready to eat. tl;dr decent pricing, friendly staffing, oyster sauce mushrooms, pepper steak, stuffed crab shells are good.

I read other reviews, so should have known. ( but our nephew picked it, and it was his night out!). The floor coming in was wet, and the seat I was led to had sticky goo all over it. The plates were dirty, we had to work through pile to get to a clean one. There was an enormous amount of food, so that gave them one star. We opted to start at the grill, and while waiting on the 'cooking'; the 'chef' stopped to grab the tip jar and pull out crumpled dollars, and straighten them up to put back in the sticky jar...Im sure to make sure we saw it there. My husband grabbed some crawfish, and when cracked open it was grey and mushy!! I pointed out the sushi he also grabbed, because the pink fish, was green and grey. I opted to add some sauce from the general tsao chicken to my grilled plate, as we had no idea what the sauces were they put out for you. The traditional buffet line had everything you would expect, and was generally pretty tasty. The American line also offered some fine options, all looking good. The dessert tables were enormous and yummy, although obvious nothing was made here! Second star ( except the school cafeteria pudding.). The 'waiter' was extremely attentive, and kept drinks full. We didn't need to worry about the calories consumed, because the food didn't spend much time in our systems.

Huge restaurant with tons of options for a $10 all you can eat buffet. You can find about anything you can imagine from hibachi, sushi, rice/noodle dishes, fruit, salad and dessert. The food is pretty good but we went on a slow day without much turnover so it looked like the sushi had been sitting out all day and other dishes weren't as fresh as you would like. On a busier day it should be much better. It's definitely a place were you eyes will be bigger than your stomach as you will want to throw everything on your plate. A good option for sure for Kokomo where you won't leave hungry!

Everyone was ranting and raving about this place so me and my boyfriend finally went to try it. I recommend having coupons because its a little pricey compared to other buffets. Drinks are surprisingly expensive. None of the sushi was labeled so I didn't try it, it didn't look very good either. Food was not very good. the "chinese" stuff such as broccoli n chicken was great, but the other food was bad. mash potatoes tasted like bad box mix. macaroni was gross, deserts were gross. My boyfriend liked the food, he'll have to go back by himself lol. Also heard recently they were closed for a day by the board of health.

This is my new favorite Asian buffet in town. It's HUGE- plenty of seating for everyone and there are rows upon rows of buffet stations. It even has plenty of tasty American fair such as ham, roast beef, and sides that aren't just an afterthought like at most Asian buffets. This helps when you have a group with some bullheaded meat and potato only eaters that would normally not ever go for Chinese when most others in the group would want to go. The food is hot, changed frequently, and has a really good variety. It's better than mediocre but all the classic staples are there and then some. It's not the highest class Japanese or Chinese on the planet but for the price you get a massive amount of food and it's a guilty MSG packed pleasure.

Service is terrible. Was in there for an hour and had to hunt down a server to get drinks. It is a buffet, that is all they are responsible for in relation to the customer. She did make sure to be around for the tip, stared at me and kept pushing the bill tray toward me while I was talking to the person I was with. The food was okay, nothing special. It is way too greasy. The hibachi was the saving grace. He provided good service. I recommend avoiding this place. Spend your money elsewhere.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Had dinner here tonight, the food was DISGUSTING. I love Chinese buffet, I am an Asian American, and have been to many Chinese buffets. The food was very salty, over cooked, and not even hot when sitting in the warmers! The service was so terrible, when we asked if there were any customer cards they looked at us like we were wrong for even asking!!!! I love hibachi, and made myself a plate for the grill, I had beef and rice. That's all! They didn't even cook it, my plate was covered in blood, and I didn't even realize until after I started eating it. When my mother in law tried the clams there was so much grit in the clams, and they didn't even clean it. When she complained, they said it was an outside company, because you know an outside company really has a lot to do with how the clams are prepared. Everything was over cooked and stale. I really wanted to have ice cream, but after reading the reviews on four square the first tip on there was to NOT eat the ice cream, so DON'T do it! I was so incredibly disappointed, as I was definitely looking forward to Chinese buffet tonight, and could not believe how awful the staff was at handling everything. When we complained and my in laws, and fiancée mentioned that this is a place they dine at regularly (a few times a month) the manager scoffed, and said, "yea right, I've never seen you guys here before) did I mention I'm Asian American? My fiancée is also, his mother is Korean. We stick out, in Indiana. After showing our utter disappointment in our meals tonight the only thing they could do was offer a coupon. It wasn't until we were heading out the door that we realized that the coupon was for $1.00 off our next meal. This is a coupon that you receive in the weekly ad, it is nothing special, I can go through a dumpster right now and collect the same coupon. I will NOT being going back, I'm just hoping I don't get diarrhea tonight after being poisoned by under cooked meat, and food that wasn't even hot all the way through. Extremely disgusted, by such awful service, and food.
