Tired of the American Mexican fare - seems like all these places have the same ole stuff - fills the belly, doesn't empty the wallet and service is good considering that most area restaurants have mediocre service.

I love this place, my food is always great, reasonably priced, service is very quick. The new outdoor patio is nice as well.

This place is much better than the way over rated and bland Hacienda. The drinks are good and they don't cheat you on any of the sauce. The food is typical Mexican fare, but it's tasty and cheap. Isn't that what you want from a a Mexican joint? All the Mexican standards are there and the staff is friendly, if a bit slow. It's worth a trip when you've got a Mex craving.

It's been over a year since my first review, and the service and food remain excellent. Fast, prompt, courteous service followed by tasty food and crispy hot chips. I wish all restaurant have appropriately attentive staffs, but we know otherwise.

I've been to El Arriero lots of times while living and working in Kokomo. It's probably the most serviceable Tex Mex place around, aside from the Mexican Grill. It's family owned and generally run well, plus they know how to use quality chorizo. You will be in and out quick with some good-to-delicious food. For something above average, I'd recommend anything with the queso con carne.

5 STARS an I am having trouble with the star system. This place is awesome. I went last night and had Carnitas. They were moist, flavorable along with delicious refried beans and rice. I went based on a recommendation from the Hampton Inn. The restaurant was clean and the server was pleasant. I will definitely return on my next business trip.

Margaritas are super strong!!! Love love this place!!! I am from L.A so i know what mexican food should taste like, this place is it!! No other mexican restraunt in kokomo is better then this place. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The food is delish, the cheese dip is to die for, and the margaritas are supppper strong. What else is needed to say? Next time im in town this will be my first stop!

I'd have to say that I love going to this place. It has very good food, which seems well prepared and the waiter/waitresses are often on point. A little slow with refills from time to time but that is to be expected.

Came for the margarita special. To my surprise they weren't the watered down mix that I have come to expect from these types of specials. Also ordered the bean and cheese dip, it was amazing. I would definitely come back when I'm back in town.

The food was nothing special. We saw the waitress exactly twice, first to take our order then to give us the bill. I don't think I'll be back.

Excellent and authentic Mexican food. Great value, and a good place to take family. Some staff not well versed in English.
