Breakfast was quite good. I had their special with eggs, biscuits and gravy, and hash browns. I had a side of bacon which was a little over cooked and pricey but pork ain't cheap. Husband had a 3 egg omelet and biscuits and gravy. All the food was good and mostly reasonably priced. Definitely would eat here again. Staff is very friendly and attentive.

I was in a rush one day and decided to pick up coffee and a breakfast sandwich through the drive thru. I couldn't even take one sip of the coffee. It tasted like old coffee you get in a waiting room where you can't tell if it was made today or a week ago. The sandwich was just a sandwich on plan white slice bread nothing special. So disappoi

After writing my review on 12/2/13 outlining the poor service and completely unseasoned, inedible food that I was served at Stricker's Cafe I received the following response from Jon English, President of Stricker's Cafe, today "So bad review because they didn't sub? Family owned and operated joint. It's bacon and eggs. You season with salt and pepper at the table genius!" Mr. English, I stand by my one star review. When I pay restaurant prices I expect my food, which in this case was hashbrowns, to arrive at the table seasoned. I also know that there are locally owned breakfast options in Jeffersonville that serve a better product and treat their customers like they are valued and welcomed. I will never patronize your restaurant again and I hope my fellow Yelpers consider the tone of your response to my review when they decide whether to patronize your restaurant as well.

We had an Amazon deal for here so we tried dinner tonight. The service wasn't horrible, not not real cheery either. I ordered turkey dinner, mashed potatoes and corn and my oldest ordered a Philly Cheesesteak. My plate had turkey, mashed potatoes and green beans on it which was an easy fix and my daughter said her cheesesteak was really dry so she added ketchup to it (eww). My other two ordered chicken tenders and the cheeseburger kid's meals. They didn't have any complaints. It isn't anywhere we'll probably go back to, but it wasn't as bad as I was expecting after reading the two previous reviews.

Breakfast is good here. Pancakes are huge and if you're a kid they'll make one like Mickey Mouse. Favorite is the country fried steak and eggs. Staff is friendly and prices reasonable. The decor isn't really special, but I don't eat decor. :-)

I've had breakfast here twice. Both times the food was decent enough. It's nothing special but it's definitely edible and cheap. I think IHOP is probably a tastier option for the same price but both times I've gone here there's been no wait and the food's come out quickly. I would recommend this place if you're in the Jeffersonville area but I probably wouldn't make a special trip just to go here. Unlike the previous reviewer, I've had no problems with service either time. Both times, I was greeted immediately and my coffee was never empty. I don't necessarily think it's fair to blame a server for not being able to make substitutions because usually it's a business' policy and the servers are unable to change it (even if they don't agree with it). That's not a problem with service, it's a problem with the management.

The young waiter we had was super great; however, the food was sub-par, and the desert was HORRIBLE. I cant say I would suggest this place to anybody, since I wouldn't go back myself. It maybe a family run joint, but they really need to hire a better cook, because the food is nothing to write home about.
