I had a really good experience here. I've heard about how good the pizza was and it lived up to the expectations. Not only was the pizza good but their breadsticks and pretzel sticks were amazing as well. My only complaint was that the beer cheese tasted like your average store bought queso. The atmosphere and service were exceptional. It is a very large place so we had no seating issues.

I am really happy with this Boom Bozz location. It is one of my favorite stops. I've eaten at the bar and in the dining area multiple times. My service has always been good especially at the bar. The beer selection is great and I haven't had anything from the menu that wasn't awesome.

Love this place... Great food, cold beer and friendly staff. Biggest bar area in Southern Indiana ... Plenty of TV's

Would have give them 5 stars but the service was severely lacking. Apparently being on your cell phone is more important than customers. Oh yeah they aren't good about answering their phone. I called at 3pm and got the answering machine. When I get there I noted it rang at least 3 times without anyone answering it. Who can afford to lose business.... Apparently Boombozz. Pizza is really good though!

The pizza at BoomBozz is absolute delicious, by far the best in Southern Indiana . When this location opened I went in and ordered a Pollotate and I've been hooked ever since. Their dessert chocolate chip cookie pizza is also a very fun and tasty treat. However, I will agree with the many other Yelpers who have said that this restaurant has serious problems. This is probably the slowest restaurant in Southern Indiana and I simply can't understand why. Every time we eat at BoomBozz the wait between placing our order and receiving our food is at least 30 minutes, often closer to 45-60. I really want to give BoomBozz five stars because they have amazing pizza but they have got to get their act together and get the food out in a timely manner.

Best pizza my husband and I have had so far! We've tried BBQ Chicken, tuscan chicken and fajita so far. Fajita wasn't so great but the other two were wonderful! We also had the potato chip nachos which were great. The service was wonderful, the atmosphere is family friendly and we like the separate bar area! Good spot, you can never go wrong with a big cheesy pizza!

I gave 2 stars because pizza was excellent and overall design of this place is great....the cons were our waitress Sarah and the older man I am assuming was a manager? I have been told the son of the owner is Italian and this man was not so I can assume a manager. We were seated immediately. Orders for beer and appetizer immediately and that's when it went down hill. We asked for glasses for the beer. Both my husband and I had a taste of soap on the glasses. We took a small drink and my Stella foam looked like cottage cheese. Our waitress never came back and we assumed she was on break. 25 min later got the cheesy bread that was hard and faintly warm, by some other guy and explained about the we expressed to change the FULL beers to just bottles. Then came the older man, again assuming manager, with an attitude and disputed there was soap. Keep in mind it too Sarah never came back. Finally after 45 min of this, Sarah came to take an order. Everyone around us that came in later was seated, ordered, and served by the time Sarah came back to us. It was ridiculous. The service was HORRIBLE.

Amazing pizza!!! Soft pretzels with beer cheese is the best. Staff is great!! Very clean and pleasant atmosphere.

I loved the selections of pizzas they had. The beer selections were also great. The service was okay, but our waitress was gone for quite a while and when she came back we realized where she'd been. She smelled like an ashtray. I don't usually mind that, but we needed drinks and it was insanely strong smelling so she probably had several.

Love the pizza, the beer selection and casual atmosphere. They always have a nice variety of local beers on tap. Did I say beer? Flights available to check out to find a new fav. Specialty award winning pizza ( seen on Food Network) also available to try a half and half. Great, friendly service too. Nice addition to the Indiana side of the river.

Two words: Quattro Pizza. It's so good and the only pizza place that has good sausage. Also you can get it in gluten free (medium only).

The pretzel sticks are worth it (pizza is just ok) but the service was seriously lacking! I didn't think the service could get any worse than the location on Bardstown Road, but it was a close race! Since it's a new restaurant in the area it is very nice and the bar area is huge! I did like the fact that they had tv's everywhere to watch sports. I would only return for the bar area/sports atmosphere, not for the food or service.

Food is good, but service is not. Our party was treated to a full glass of water in our lap and not even an apology. They did finally bring some towels but didn't even offer to clean the table. We even had to request extra napkins to dry the table. The manager person brought these and still no apology. It was our first and last visit. I wish them luck.

My family and I have visited the Jeffersonville, Indiana BoomBozz location, very frequently, ever since it opened. In fact, it's no exaggeration to say that if we've not dined in, I've gotten carry out, sometimes twice a week. Over the passed year, we've received a few over-cooked pizzas from this location, but the staff has made it right. Sometimes you'll see workers goofing off just inside the kitchen instead of watching the ovens, pretty sure that's why it happens. However, we've come back because it's right, or they make it right. Things happen at every restaurant, but a good restaurant accepts issues and resolves them. On 8 July 2015, around 8:30, my wife suggested we get a BoomBozz carryout on our way home from shopping. My wife couldn't wait to get home, and took a few bites of pizza. She said it tasted burnt, and looking at the bottom, it also looked burnt. Having worked for a pizza supply company in the 1980's, I know what pizza is supposed to look like, and this one was plainly overcooked. I'm not some dummy that doesn't know what burnt pizza looks like. I took the pizza back inside, at the Jeffersonville, Indiana location, and told the server we just wanted a refund on the pizza as it was burnt. We didn't have time for a remake, and our son was enjoying the pretzel sticks, we just needed to get home. The manager was alerted, named "Al", and he asked me what the issue was. After I told him it tasted burnt, he looked at the bottom of the pizza and bluntly said he didn't think it looked burnt; which is funny because everyone in our car believed it did look burnt. Basically called us liars. He then went on to ask if he'd seen me there before. I am a regular, so yes, of course. When I replied "yes", he went on to say he remembered refunding my money before, and maybe we shouldn't come there anymore. Really? I think we've returned three pizzas before, out of countless we've ordered since this location opened. I suppose that customers, in Al's eyes, should accept whatever's thrown at them or shut up and leave. I could not believe Al's abrasive behavior, when we've been very loyal customers from the beginning. He grudgingly refunded my money, like addressing a third class citizen, and patronizingly added, "it will be taken off your card, buddy." My clear impression was that my business was no longer wanted there. And I am not a "buddy", I'm a customer. That's very offensive to me. He's not doing me a favor by "letting me" eat at his restaurant. I don't believe Al understands customer service or how to treat customers. I am, however, completely sure that he lost our business for good. In the greater Louisville area, there are many restaurant choices, and many serve pretzel sticks and pizza of at least equal quality. I had previously chosen Boombozz because of getting good food, guaranteed, and friendly service. Al has ruined both of those criteria for my family and I. We won't be back, for love or money, and will tell others about Al and this location.

If you're into craft beers this place has plenty. The pizza is great. I especially liked the white pizza. Their beer cheese and pretzel bread is excellent! It's worth going there just for that. Boombozz rocks!

The other side of Veteran's Parkway is finally starting to build up and it looks like Boombozz Pizza & Taphouse is leading the charge. The large, new building shares parking with a bank, so the lot is a decent size, particularly on weekends and evenings after Mr. Potter has called it a night. We were a party of 8 and sat on the family side. I didn't get an opportunity to check out the "Taphouse" side of the building, but I'm hoping it hosted a bit more character than the "family" side. Around the room were a lovely display of blonde wood, beige and flat screen TV's showing an array of sports. There were also many "clever" signs with folksy sayings about the virtues of pizza; the kind of thing that you'd pick up at Hobby Lobby on those stand-alone islands. There were also a great many banners proclaiming that this had been declared "America's Best Pizza" by the Food Network. Quite a lofty claim and it set the bar pretty high. Was it the best pizza in America? Well, first we had to get through appetizers of cheese bread and pretzel bread with beer cheese. Both were very, very good. The beer selection doesn't seem to be extensive enough to call this place a taphouse, but they do have some local fare which is nice. Management did not seem to have scheduled enough servers for the night and our server seemed very harried. I don't know if it was from too few co-workers or too little training (the place is quite new). So, was it the best pizza in America? No. It was not. It was genuinely good pizza. There are a great many ways to customize your pie, including an array of different sauces, 3 different crusts and a host of toppings. There are also several specialty pizzas to choose from. One particular point that impressed me was the reasonable price on a half and half of any pizza on the menu. There are also some very large salads, some sandwiches and calzones and such. I would give the food and value a 4 star rating and the service, atmosphere and decor a 2-star. Boombozz is a welcome addition to the area and, as busy as it was on a Sunday night, I'm sure that it will get some neighbors very soon.

We ordered the New York style pizza. The toppings we selected were feta and goat's cheese. We expected the pizza would come loaded with triple cheese. Instead, the pizza appeared to have no more cheese on it than as if we had not added any extra cheese at all. We had the impression that the original mozzarella had been reduced to 1/3 the original amount, and the two toppings also were each added at 1/3 levels, so the final pizza had no more than the ordinary amount of cheese. Very disappointing, especially considering the pricing of $2.79 apiece for each of the extra toppings. We also wrote to the owner using the online form at the website, but received no reply. Still, the food was good tasting and the beers we had were very good as well. UPDATE: The restaurant did eventually write back to us by email. We were offered a coupon as compensation for our issue with the unacceptable amount of extra cheese toppings we got. We explained we were from Rhode Island and so were unlikely to be able to make use of a coupon. We suggested a partial refund instead (it would have been nice to at least have been paid back for the toppings). Considering we had spent over $90 on the meal, we think asking for what would have amounted to about a $6 refund was reasonable. After weeks now still no response to the suggestion. Don't expect ever to hear back now.

This was awful. We were a party of three. Our server took my dads order but forgot mine and my hubby's. I had to go find her to take the rest of our order, so my dads food came out before ours. We ordered the spinach dip. It only came with 5 pieces of bread so when we ate the 5 and still had more than half a bowl of dip we asked for more bread. They charge for it. I hate it when restaurants dont give enough and charge for extra to finish it. Hubby ordered the sandwhich. It came with chips or seasonal side. He asked our server what the seasonal side was. He was told they didnt have one. He was only given half a sandwhich but charged for a whole. We live in Michigan, so we wont be back... but wouldnt even if we could.

First time trying Boomba's. It was definitely worth the trip. It's a popular place, so be prepared for a wait when you get there. It was nice going to a pizza restaurant and eat off real plates and drink out of real glasses instead of the paper and plastic everyone else offers.

Good pizza and great atmosphere. Party room in case you need it. Prices are about in line with most sit down pizza joints. Cheaper than Wick's and nicer atmosphere too. Bar area looks pretty nice but we sat on the family side. Nice big booths too in case there are 6 in your party. Better than Studio Pizza for sure. We went on opening day and waiter was a bit nervous and service was a bit slow and chaotic, but we expected that. Nice addition to the area!

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
