Lunch was wonderful today. Actually went downtown to eat at a new place to find out they already closed for lunch after 2 weeks. Anyway, good ol' Snaps didn't let us down. The grilled tenderloin was wonderful and sweet potato fries with boom boom sauce was a perfect side. Check it out!!

I was not a fan. I may come here to drink, but not to eat. They do have a good selection of craft beers and a full bar with decent prices on that front. Atmosphere is neat, as it is in a building that has been a tavern of some sort or another for over a century. This building has Dubois County history all over it. The food, though? Blech. I did not enjoy it. I had Beer Cheese Dip and pretzels. The pretzels were flavorless except for a ton of salt. The cheese, which they are so proud of as a "secret recipe" is really just velveeta with some beer in it. Also rather flavorless and disappointing. I did not eat it and instead gave it to my other table-mates, who all agreed it was disappointing. I ordered the classic tenderloin - a Southern Indiana staple and something I make sure I get every time I'm in town. This was my first experience getting it here - and I will never do it again. Technically, yes, it is a tenderloin sandwich - but not a typical Southern Indiana sandwich. They did not pound out the meat, and so it was thick, chewy, and difficult to bite. The breading was flavorless. They put it on a hoagie bun, which I don't understand at all. This did not help the sandwich, as it added nothing to the overall texture or flavor. The onion rings were pretty good. Nothing special, but pretty good. If you ask for a side of mayonnaise, be aware you will get Miracle Whip and not mayonnaise.

Meh. It wasn't bad, but just not particularly good. I did enjoy the local and craft beer selection, including several on tap. The Snaps "Original" Beer Cheese boasts of a secret blend of cheese. Surprise, it's velvetta. I had the catfish sandwhich which was ok. Good service and décor though. Just not really a place worth returning to except for a drink.

I like to go here for the two dollar Tuesday's. Two dollar burgers, select craft beers, and gator ap are great. The dinning room is a fun atmosphere with a couple of tvs to watch the game.

Food was amazing, atmosphere was pretty good, but I waited 90 minutes for my food. I would definitely go back, because it may have been just an off day. The bar lady was very nice, and made up for it by comping our drinks. Get the asparagus chicken!

Awesome beer selection, cool ambiance. One of my favorite places to hit in southern Indiana.

The only reason I gave this 2 stars was because of the great service. ALL of the food was not freshly made. My husband had the Prime Rib Burger, fries and fresh fruit. It was a frozen patty, frozen fries and canned fruit. I had the Sundried Tomato build your own Pasta Bowl and it was barely edible. The sauce was canned and well, nasty! Our son had the Chicken Nuggets and Fries and let's just say the ones in my freeze were better than these. He is only 4, so he didn't mind too much. They do have a great beer selection, so that helped choking down the food. Plus, our bill was close to $50, definitely not worth it for the frozen food. If you are driving through, like we were, just keep on going!

I stop here often and love it. It is a great neighborhood pub with a great selection of beer on tap. The staff are friendly and generally quick to serve you and the food is pretty good for bar food. There is a nice deck in the back where they have live music. The only real downside is that when they are busy it can take a while to get your food and service back on the deck can be spotty at times.

I try to come here at least a couple times a month. This place has the best tap selection I've found in Jasper. The food is great and priced accordingly and the atmosphere is fun. Definitely recommend this place!

Stopped here after a round of golf at Sultan's Run. Excellent end to the day. Gator bites were good; bison burger was excellent. Our group will be back to SNAPS the next time we are up that way!!

Great local place! We were in town for a craft show and wanted to try something different, and Snaps was great! We all had some variation of a chicken entree, and everything was fantastic! Very extensive menu, neat building, good service. Snaps has it all!
