I feel biased, since I've been going here with my family since I was like 8. Considering the price, friendly owners, and quality of the food, I'd say this place is awesome. Not a place to take a date to or anything, but good!

Pretty good takeout. I haven't been here in a couple years, since I wasn't impressed the first time. Yummy shrimp lo mein, orange chicken, and broccoli w/ garlic sauce.

Buffet is OK if you show up early. Owner is not big on throwing out old food. Price is great at $5 with drink. Average Chinese at a good price, DO NOT goto the buffet late, get take out.

Greasy Spring Rolls, crappy looking food, and not many choices on the "buffet". They need to clean the place! Their lights have a lot of dust; hope it doesn't fall in my food! Very tiny place, I'm sure someone in a wheelchair would not be able to eat there.

food was better back in the day.. buffet food always looks old or dried out. Cleanliness...clearly not part of the daily routine, never use the bathrooms! toilets yuck! Floors are filthy and carpet sticky! Have to wonder what the kitchen looks like.? Highchairs always a sticky mess, just no quality here anymore.

I wasn't impressed with the buffet, though I did get there rather late for lunch, so most of it was old. Very inexpensive, only $5.29 for the lunch buffet. However, they had a decent crowd for the late lunch or early-early dinner. But unless you get there as soon as they open (so the food on the buffet is fresh), I'd suggest ordering off the menu to get fresher food. Very good prices on the menu, with the good prices on the lunch specials too. Carry-out available. Cleanliness and ambience isn't great. But it's pretty much what I expected for that part of town in that price range. I wouldn't take a date here. It's a fill-up-cheap kind of place. Located just West of Hobby Lobby, tucked back in the corner. You can't see it from the street. It's in the same plaza as Wal-Mart, on the West side of lot, hidden behind the Huntington bank.

This was hands down the worst Lo Mein I've ever had, worse than mall or four dollar buffet Lo Mein. The Crab Rangoons were so hard it felt like I was trying to chew through fiberglass..... They sure lowered the bar. Sadness.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
