Been wanting to try this place out for a long time, finally went! Gotta say, I'm very satisfied with the chicken burrito I got and tried the queso which was very tasty, couldn't stop dipping my chips in it! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was comfy but needed to turn the air up, just a little warm in there. Moe's was a great experience for my family and I, it's like a Subway for Mexican food and not too pricey. All the ingredients I put on my burrito was fresh so that's a plus! I liked all the pictures hanging on the wall of musicians that people have painted! Great experience, thanks Moe's!

Personal trainer with chipotle ranch :) build your own with black beans, romain lettuce, fresh jalapeños :) then add the wonderful basket of chips with lemon and salt sprinkled and a variety of salsa. The queso is white and a different flavor than normal quesos,

I've been a fan of Moe's downtown. It was one of the few places that delivered to my work. The south side one is greatly lacking. I ordered a Joey Bag of Donuts with chicken and queso. The only thing that had any flavor in the entire burrito were the pinto beans. The meat and queso err so bland, that even the lettuce had more flavor. They only redeeming quality is the salsa bar, and even then, it's decent at best. They seriously need to step up their game.

Pretty good food. Like many other people have said this reminds me of Qdoba or Baja. I do like the idea of free chips and salsa, and I tried a few salsas from the bar which were all tasty. The queso was pretty good too. No wow factor though, and it's kind of pricey. I'm likely to stay loyal to Qdoba.

Moe's does made-to-order tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. It's like Subway with a Mexican slant. You get your choice of meat and other filling items - lettuce, tomato, rice, beans, olives, onions, etc. My kids love it and it's okay for me. The flavor of a burrito is pretty blah until you hit the salsa bar. They've got about 6 salsas that are all tasty and mostly mild. I like the salsa verde. You need a good amount of salsa to flavor up the burritos. The menu items all have silly names based on pop culture references, like Joey Bag of Donuts and Art Vandalay burritos. Bonus points: All of the music played in Moe's is by "dead rock stars". This leads to interesting combinations like Buddy Holly, Michael Jackson, and Grateful Dead. Currently they are decorated with artsy pictures of dead rock star look-a-likes.

I've been here several times, usually buying the steak burrito or the steak quesadilla. The food and service has been excellent each time I have been to this Moe's. One of the things I like best about this location is that when they are not serving the food, they are cleaning everything. It's nice to see a restaurant that dedicated to keeping the food surfaces clean. Welcome to Moe's! I'll be back very soon.

Wow, this is the third place serving southwestern/Mexican food I have been to in the last three weeks and I like all of them. When you enter, they all shout "Welcome to Moe's." Along the lines of Noodles and Company, they stress their use of natural ingredients and in-house made items. I had the Earmuffs(?) Tofu burrito bowl with black beans, rice, onion, tomatoes, etc. $8.29. Excellent. My wife had the Joey Jr.(?) chicken burrito $6.49 and rated it a 10. Both had chips included. There is a salsa bar, which has different levels of heat, than you can serve to yourself. Nice touch. I like the decor, which included pictures of celebrities on the wall. Comfortable booths also. You order at the beginning of a line bar where you chose your items and pay at the end. The only negative is that we did not see any of the employees smiling. They were efficient, however. We will return.

I'm not saying the other reviewers review is untrue.. .but I've eaten here at least once a week since they opened and have never ever, never ever ever had any problems here! The price is very fair for the quality and they have great promotions: like Monday burrito nights, kids eat free Sundays and Wednesday nights. Sign up for emails and you get a free entree on your b'day/anniversary!! Enter your number on the PDA at checkout out and you get a free burrito every 10 visits. Usually the same staff (which is always very friendly and accommodating) but even when there are newbies you can really tell they try to do a good job! They do close at 8 on Sundays which in my opinion is too early! All entrees come with chips and then you can visit the salsa bar to choose your selection of salsa! You can choose from fajitas, burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and many other things. They even have vegetarian options in place of meat (soy and/or veggies). The interior is a cool rock and roll theme with classic rock music playing. Lots of seating, tables and booths to accommodate small and large parties!

I like Moe's better than Qdoba. (Not better than Chipotle, but we don't have any of those on the southside.) The chicken is a lot tastier and not as gristly and I like Moe's plainer rice instead of the lime at Qdoba. They have fresh jalapeno's diced that I always get, because without it it's kind of bland. The salsa's they have are alright, but I'm not crazy about any of them. None of them seem that spicy to me. They give you unlimited chips that are pretty good. But the GREATEST thing is the drink fountain, seriously. It has something like 100+ combinations you can get. Strawberry Sprite is so good.

I love Moe's. For the price, you can't beat them when it comes to a fast-casual Mexican place. The salsa bar is awesome!

Tonight I met my family at Moe's so we could take advantage of the Kids-Eat-Free on Wednesday nights. My wife and I have been trying to eat healthier lately so as I was waiting for them to arrive, I scanned through the menu to determine what I was going to get. I ended up with the Art Vandalay (veggie burrito) Streaker (with no tortilla wrap). Let me tell you giving up the wrap was hard, even when I don't get the burrito wrapped, I usually still eat the warm, steamed tortilla with delight. One thing I loved about my meal tonight was that I had them load me up on all the veggies and was also able to get an extra handful of cilantro. I absolutely love cilantro and this really made my meal taste so good I didn't think too much about missing the delicious white queso or meat in my burrito. The fact that kids eat free tonight and chips and salsa are free makes it a cinch for our familiy of four to enjoy a meal together very cheaply. If you like Mexican, fresh ingredient, friendly service and fun atmosphere, head on out to Moe's for your next family meal. Oh, and it doesn't have to be on Wednesday nights, that's just a bonus!

If you like bland food at high prices this is the place for you. I ordered the steak fajitas. The meat, sour cream, and veggies were flavorless. I do not consider myself a salt person meaning I rarely add salt to my dishes, but I had to pour it on just to get a least somewhat of a flavor. Will not be back.

Service was good, but the food was not very good. Chips and salsa were the highlight....nachos and burrito bowl both left much to be desired. We will stick with a 30 minute drive to the nearest Chipotle for our fresh-mex cravings.

I have always liked moe's as an alternative to super fast- pre-packed, make it behind closed doors fast food mexican. I like than I can custom order my food the way I want it and they make it fresh. Just sometimes they get distracted and food gets slightly underheated or over cooked. They do give you more chips for free if you ask. One of the coolest things about this moe's is that they have a soda machine that is amazing. I know a weird thing to write about, but this machine is a touch screen, and then has a ton of different ways you can customize your drink. I was glad I was there when it was not busy so I could try like 10 different sodas. Enjoy!

My hotel used this location for catering. The catering hotline took great care of us, but the "grad special" I ordered honestly wasn't a lot of food. We ordered food for 30 people, and had about 15 people show up to our event at our hotel. We had a little bit left over and our staff got to eat. Compliments on the food, everything was very tasty, but for the price we paid, I'm glad we weren't busier or else we definitly would have ran out of food. If you order catering for them, whatever they say the catering combo will feed, divide that in half. Most people I know go nuts for mexican food so most people will eat a lot of it if it's there.

LOVE IT! If you are a fan of queso you have to get theirs. Sometimes their food is better than others, but overall, the way they make it, its the best fast food mexican you can get. A bit pricey for fast food, but at least you get all you can eat chips.

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
