Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Best coffee lids in town- you can close the mouth part w/ this little slider thing! The staff was so very pleasant and I wish we had some of these kind of prices downtown! Wow. Quality food and awesome experience all around. So glad to know of a small local on the NW side.

My experience with this place was ok. The quiches and fruit salads were good when I came here for breakfast, but I don't suggest coming here if you are avoiding gluten or dairy. There are only a small amount of things on the menu, and the only things that I found that were dairy or gluten free were the salads.

This is one of those hidden Gems that one finds on rare occasions. My wife and I were in the area where Lulu's is located and stopped in for a bite. We were very impressed with the staff and the delicious salad and deserts we had. We purchased some carry out sweets and were very impressed with the texture and taste of the cookies and scones. Highly recommended. ~~Mike and Anna

My go-to NW coffee shop. Plus great scones & pesto, egg white & cheese sandwiches.

Awesome! I'm typing this while sitting at Lulu's drinking chocolate milk and using their incredibly fast WiFI. Their scones are great, the place isn't loud at all, and the staff is very nice. All in all, great and I will recommend and come back :)

I was finally able to visit LuLu's today and was pleased to have made it in. The coffee shop looked super cute and though it opens too late for me to grab my morning coffee on the weekdays (6:30am), I'll happily suggest it as a meeting place for when I grab a coffee with friends on the north side. I went with the roasted vegetable wrap (changing out the cream cheese w/ humus) and my friend ordered the special of the day which was a turkey avocado wrap. Both of us liked our wraps very much and they were a nice size for not a bad price. I got the side salad but as I left, I saw someone with a fruit cup which is probably what I'll get next time. I tried a chocolate peanut butter swirl cookie for dessert and I didn't love it but I didn't hate it. I love super sweet cookies and these weren't as sweet as I was going for. That's just my personal preference but I'm pretty picky when it comes to cookies. I don't like the ones at Monical's or Jimmy John's either.

Lulu's is my local coffee shop and I'm there a goodly amount. It's a small place amongst many in a strip mall, but don't let their location deter you, inside is some of the most magical treats and delicious coffee known to north Indy. The owners and staff are amazingly friendly and efficient. Lulu's offers a huge variety of coffees, espresso drinks and other items (even colas!) to quench your thirst. You can even buy their beans by the pound. They also offer a full range of breakfast and lunch items, including housemade soups each and everyday. Lunch includes salads, wraps, sammies, quiche and more. The hands down item you MUST TRY are the scones -- simply the best scones I've had. LOVE love love the cranberry! New to their menu are cake balls, small spheres of moist cake dipped into a thick shell of chocolate. Note that Lulu's is closed on Sunday...always a bummer for us, but I'm sure a welcome break for the hard working owners.

Lulu's was great. Some of my favorite elements are brought together here. Independently owned, great coffee (I only tried the drip coffee, not sure about the espresso creations), and affordable and tasty brunch food. I had the spinach and feta quiche, fruit salad, and coffee for breakfast. Service was friendly and there were open tables at 12am on a Saturday morning. Great place to stop on the way to half price books at 86th and ditch.

Not really my kind of atmosphere, but I'll be back. As the name suggests, the place has a lively vibe, with artwork that's a little too vibrant for my taste and fluorescent lights a little too bright for my liking. I was politely greeted by staff, and with people behind me, I felt a bit pressured to order, so I asked what was recommended for vegetarians and a variety of hummus-based items was suggested. I ordered the egg salad sandwich. The menu on the wall is a bit hard to read when you approach the angled cash register, so I suggest grabbing a menu from the counter and checking that out before ordering. The egg salad sandwich was good, nice and simple. The eggs weren't chopped so finely that they didn't have any body (I'm not a fan of the creamier egg salads), and the spice was mildly like a deviled egg, with cucumber and lettuce surrounding. Side of apple salad was fresh, and 3 baby carrots were a nice surprise. I'll be back again, probably for coffee and a scone. If service is as good and the coffee's good too, will bump up to 5 stars.

My husband just discovered LuLu's a couple of months ago thanks to a friend of ours and we have been regulars since. My husband's office is near by and he is totally hooked on the Heath latte. The mocha's are really good. This morning I had a blueberry lemon scone which was very good, and had many blueberries. I had a regular coffee instead of an espresso drink and it was really good coffee.

I love Lulu's cafe! I was there the day that it opened and every time I go there I get the same great food and the same great service. I recommend the feta and spinach quiche and there BLT's are really good too! The workers are very nice and the place is always clean. It's a very good place to have brunch with friends, meetings, or just to go there with your kids and get some really great food!

Lulu's is the best place in Indy to grab a quick breakfast. I used to go a few times a week with my sister on our way to Brebeuf. I went to pastry school and can still say that Lulu's has the best scones I have ever tasted in my life. I have also had experience with Lulu's catering (for a bridal shower brunch) and am glad to report that made to order scones are as fantastic as the ones that are made every morning. The people are super nice, and the atmosphere is great if you have a few hours to kill with a good book. Try the hot vanilla chai, you'll thank me!

I've been here six times so it's time for a review! This has become my mid-afternoon cappuccino break stop. They make a perfect cappuccino. Also if I need a little treat they have cookies, cake pops and pie. I've also had lunch here, good wraps and sandwiches. This place is busier now that there's a new market in the same strip mall. I'm glad, it should be here a while then. Comfortable seating and very friendly people.

Aaaahhhhmazing scones!!! And always have to have a cup of ice Venetian cream coffee!!! Their savory quiche are also amazing!! Always please when I come here!!! They definitely beat Starbucks for me! Nice employees and great customer service!

Everytime I've come in here it's been pretty decent. I've only eaten here once & got the hummus bagel plate which was decent. The cappuccinos are OK, but I find myself longing for Lazy Daze. No one else does it as well as they do. Maybe it's the beans Monon Coffee Co. & Lulu's use or something that has me favouring Lazy Daze. I should probably find out. If the coffee's strong enough, it's usually bitter. Otherwise the 2 shots in a drink are not very strong. I don't go in for sweet drinks. I like my coffee coffee-flavoured.(not necessarily at Lulu's.. just observing.) Anyway, servers are friendly & helpful & the shop itself is bright & colourful.

I was hoping this was going to be a really good place. It is right around the corner from my house. My husband was sick (inner ear infection) and I just did not feel like cooking, so I felt like this was a great time to try this place out. Before I left we took a look at the menu and decided what we wanted. I drove up there ready and confident to place my order. One of the things I noticed when I walked in was the different types of coffee beans that they have. I do not drink coffee, but my husband is a coffee nut. I know from him that coffee should be kept in dark and cool spaces. The coffee here was out in the open in a bright area in clear jars. I made sure to remember to mention that to my husband so he would know to steer clear. I order our food and the cashier is really nice and really knowledgeable about the menu. I get home and we sample our food. It is okay. Really. That's it. Okay. Nothing to write home about. My husband had the chicken salad sandwich. I had the turkey sandwich. He had a brownie which was less than stellar, and I had a chocolate chip cookie, which tasted oddly salty. I am a big fan of deli food. If you are going to have it, it needs to be great. This was not great. They had quiches there on display as well, and they looked amazing. I might try again, and might go for a quiche the next time.

Lulu's, like Monon Coffee Co. is one of those great little locally-owned coffee/nosh places that has defied the odds and survived the onslaught of corporate coffee shops. I am not normally a sweet coffee fanatic, but I make an exception for Lulu's Milky Way...which is a mocha with caramel flavor added. For me, it's like dessert I can drink....best enjoyed when our notorious Indiana weather has taken a turn for the gray, chilly, damp worst. I also really enjoy the nibbles at Lulu's. For me, it doesn't get any better than the Garden sandwich - a veggie delight. But, I've also made excellent meals out of their quiche and egg salad. Try getting that at a Starbuck's! Lulu's is nestled in a little strip mall that has some decent shopping candidates like Steinmart, New Age People and Global Gifts - very convenient :-)

Friendliest baristas in town. No uber obnoxious emo hipsters slinging coffee here. My perfect Saturday morning is grabbing a scone and iced soy mocha here and then heading across the street to browse Half Price Books.

First time here. I am impressed. Let me start by saying I've been sitting here for 30 min. The hospitality and customer service is A1. I employ 30 people as a qsr franchisee. You can't train this type of hospitality. The americano was up to par and a dollar less than sbucks. Sandwiches are cheap and fresh. Open kitchen is clean. Menu isn't confusing. Always daily specials. Get rid of the residential microwave used in a commercial application as well as the cheap cop out overhead music with commercials...Tacky . I'll be back for the Cuban Sammy. Again I stress the hospitality. I walked in stressed over work and was put at ease by the Staff's overall demeanor. Wednesday 23rd, 2:30pm

Really great place with a lot of gluten-free options. I had the quiche with the potato crust and it was delicious. My daughter had a smoothie and a bagel, and she thought it was very tasty. Service was great and the atmosphere was nice.

Loved this place! The owner is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. I'd coming here much more often now for my morning coffee fix. The decor seemed like a hole-in-the-wall coffeehouse in manhattan, reminded me of my New York City days last year, very contemporary, as if a lot of thought went into it. Two thumbs up.

Excellent coffee's and scones. Great service as well and always a clean seat for quick meetings or social visits. Steve and Tiffany are top-notch!

These guys actually moved from down the street. So far the ingredients to their food and drinks have kept the same quality. Only problem I've had is none of the people there have been able to make as good of a Chai as one of the old staff.

  • Becky B.

We held a bridal shower here last month and I can't say enough good thugs about it! The owners went above and beyond to help us plan and coordinate everything. The food and coffee were great and the shower went off so smoothly! If you're looking for a place for a party or shower definitely check out lulu's!

This is one of my go-to breakfast and coffee spots. I love getting the quiche and a side breakfast. Usually, I get a scone, but they offer other alternatives such as fresh fruit. All the coffee drinks are awesome. My personal favorite is the Traditional Italian Cappuccino. It goes well with their freshly baked scones. The decor in the place is pleasant. It's a nice, warm atmosphere. All the staff members are really nice and energetic. Even at closing time, they are still pretty friendly. I would highly recommend trying the Tea Party for 2. You get 3 pots of your choice of tea, plus trays of sandwiches, veggies, fruits, and other desserts just for $25.00. I've always had a pleasant experience coming here. I have not been here for lunch yet, so I have yet to try some of the food items they have to offer then.

New to the area I have made it my mission to try and enjoy all the wonderful food a big city has to offer and this was a good find. It is a local restaurant with homemade food. You can tell that the food isn't mass produced, placed in a plastic bag from china, opened, heated up and then served to you at 4 times the price. The croutons are AMAZING. I honestly thought about asking if I could buy a bag of them they were so good. The price of the food was decent. I had the salad on salad with egg salad (vegetarian) and a large iced latte for a total of $13. The salad on salad was a little pricey but a delicious choice and they had a vegetarian option. Unfortunately I did not see many options that were vegan but they did have plenty of gluten free options. The coffee was incredible cheap compared to Starbucks and great quality. Although I wish I would have added a flavor to my iced latte, the person behind me added vanilla. If I would of had cash I would have added it to my drink on the spot. They have a wide variety of loose leaf tea that I plan to try on my next visit. They had several tables outside for outdoor seating but not nearly enough in my opinion. A few more tables would really add to the restaurant but if I remember correctly I'm not sure they have enough space which is a shame. The atmosphere was also very welcoming. There were people on their laptops working as well as a group of middle aged women playing a board game. They had brought their own table cloth to put on the table to play this game which makes me think that they come every week. I would recommend this restaurant to people who want food that is worth paying for and looking to enjoy a good atmosphere. The food arrived within 8 minutes which makes it a plus for parents of little ones. You can also add $0.80 to your coffee cup to make it bottomless which makes this place the perfect place for a 'work at home' day.

Oh, Lulu's, you are a charmer. As soon as I walk in, you have acoustic Ed Sheeran playing on the radio and a very friendly barista offering me a (buy one, get one free) scone. The lighting is a little dim, but maybe you're just setting the mood? The scone makes me smile. The wifi is fast. A few more acoustic songs later (seriously... Bastille? John Mayer? be still my heart), I'm planning my next visit. You even made me cave for a pumpkin white mocha in September. Well done, Lulu's. Well done.

I love Lulu's; it's conveniently located near the hospital, so I can pop over for a takeout lunch, coffee (oh so good) or some gluten free baked goodies. So far I've had: Cranberry Walnut salad - perfect! Smoked Ham & Chedder Panini - my fave for cheat (diet) days Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap - so.freaking.good. Homemade tomato soup - this was my goto durning the cold winter months. I usually go to lunch at around 1:30pm so I get to take advantage of discounted bakery goods. So far the cookes, muffins and scones haven't been a disappointment. :D

I happened to come across this hidden gem after shopping at Fresh Thyme. I'm so glad I found this place. Pros: -Delicious dark chocolate iced mocha -Delicious scones -Wonderful customer service (the 2 ladies that I spoke with were extremely welcoming and seemed very happy to be there.) -Plenty of tables and chairs -Cheaper than Starbucks (I bought a large iced mocha and 2 scones for $6 and some change.) -2 for 1 on select items after 2 pm -Great selection of food items and coffee Cons: -I cannot think of one thing! Although, next time I go, I will have to see if they have a changing table in their restroom. Hopefully they do, and I won't have to add a con!!!!! I will be a repeat customer for sure!

An absolutely delicious latte. I've been here twice and had almond milk lattes. The first time with hazelnut syrup and the second time with caramel and pumpkin and it was fantastic! Very friendly baristas.

Can you say fantastic experience!? The atmosphere is warm and inviting and just begs you to take off your coat, stay awhile and sip on a warm beverage, which is exactly what I did. The display case was filled with sweet delectables, such as pies, cakes, cookies and various bars. Additionally, quiche, sandwiches, salads, and various plates are available for a satisfying breakfast, brunch, or lunch. In addition to their espresso and chai drinks, they also had a nice selection of specialty and handcrafted pops from which one could choose. The prices are definitely affordable. I ordered a tall Muddy Irishman, which is espresso, steamed milk, chocolate, caramel and Irish cream. OMG, it was AMAZING! It was full of flavor, nothing bland or watered down about it. I then settled down at the bar to enjoy this warm and delightful treasure. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and I noticed that if a regular came in he or she was asked if they wanted the usual. On my way out, I decided to purchase two specialty pops, a red velvet cookie, and a slice of apple cinnamon cake to take home to the fam. While I was sitting down, I noticed that a code was needed for their free Wifi. I asked about this shortly before I left and was told that you must ask a staff member for an access code, which stays in effect for two hours. Also, she stated that all one has to do is ask for an extension at the end of that time and they will gladly grant it. I will definitely be back!

Stop # 4 of the Caffeine Crawl, 2014 -- located on W 86th near Nora...and a Planet Fitness gym. Coincidence? After sampling the scones, I think not. Kyle -- the head baker -- was our host at this stop. He brilliantly illustrated how to use the AeroPress in different ways to make tasty coffee on the go. His knowledge and down-to-earth style was comforting and the coffee and scones were absolutely delish. We were also taught how to make a Toddy concentrate and all kinds of good stuff! Fun! We wish we had more time today to get some food at Lulu's as we were stalking the most amazing egg salad sandwich at the table next to us. We hear that they make the egg salad and chicken salad in house along with some other tempting goodies. We WILL return to try them all! Hands down, Lulu's was one of our favorite parts of the crawl today. It made us a little sad that we no longer live on 'that side' of town, but will totally make the trip up to Lulu's time and again...if even for those scones. WOWSA. Thank you for an amazing experience, Kyle! See ya soon!

Went here for the first time today after finding it on Yelp (!!!) and loved it! Friendly staff. Fast service. And great food. I have the cranberry walnut salad with chicken and it was delicious. The raspberry vinaigrette was an awesome addition. They also have tons of tea options. I will be coming back!

Lulu's is always a stop when on the north side. Lulu's has really good coffee. I always order the Traditional Italian Cappuccino and it never disappoints. They also stock several whole bean varieties which you can take home. In addition to the coffee, there is always a slew of homemade baked goods from brownies to cookies to quiche. They also have a few sandwiches and wraps on the menu. I have been to Lulu's several times and have always had good service. I recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

Within 30 seconds of walking in the door, I was kicking myself for not trying Lulu's sooner. It had such a comfortable vibe!! From the staff to the patrons to the decor, it all just works. I felt like there should be a big orange couch with 6 friends having coffee in the corner. The staff was pleasant and genuine. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with an American cappuccino. I immediately realized my mistake. Why didn't I order a baked good?? The counter was lined with individually wrapped snackable delights and yet I opened my mouth to order eggs? It's a BAKEhouse. A sandwich? Really? Really. I will be back in short order to try one of the enticing baked items, for sure. The sandwich, however, wasn't bad. It just wasn't exceptional. The coffee stole the show. The coffee was exactly what I needed and wanted. I could have had six more. It was the perfect quality and quantity. I can't wait to go back and try their traditional Italian cappuccino. The only tiny downside to my experience was I had a bit of a wait for the coffee. I had my sandwich well in advance of my beverage. I probably won't be stopping by Lulu's often during the morning during the work week, but I'll definitely be making excuses to go enjoy Lulu's goodies when I'm not in a rush. Lulu's, this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

What a cute coffee shop! I am not from the area and I wish there was a coffee shop like lulus by me! I had the Muddy Irishman which was a delicious treat since I usually have Dunkin donuts coffee with cream everyday- nice atmosphere, and a lot of different coffee selections to choose from that you won't find at your normal Starbucks or Dunkin!

One of the best places on this side of town to get a good, healthy, inexpensive breakfast. Egg white, spinach and cheese breakfast sandwich, excellent fruit salad, and a good variety of less healthy - but still delicious - muffins and scones. Coffee is good as well. There are usually four varieties up: a light, a dark, a decaf and a flavored. Very comfortable interior. The big downside is the wifi: you get a code with purchase for an hour's worth. I can relate to the limiting of wifi time (I wish more places would do this, actually), but an hour is a little too stringent. Also the limited hours are a detractor, but they're really more of a true cafe than a true coffee shop, so I would rather them do breakfast and lunch well and skip dinner. Very good place overall though.

  • Brittany H.

This is my go to coffee shop. The coffee is tasty and the baked goods are to die for. For lunch, you can't beat the price.

Stopped here for lunch. Very cute and modern shop with a large menu. Quiches, pies, other baked yummies. Sandwiches and salads on their lunch menu. Everything was good but it seemed like the staff was flustered though the place wasn't very busy. Food: 3/5 - If you get the quinoa salad it is very citrusy. Baked goods: 4/5 - The warm apple pie and the PB&chocolate cookie we had were very delicious! Coffee: - didn't try this time around Service: 3/5 Location: 4/5 - Clean and a great variety of seating.

After seeing quite a few good reviews of this place, j decided to check it out for myself and see if it really was as good as everyone was saying. I was not disappointed! I tried the chicken salad sandwich and a decaf white chocolate mocha. The sandwich was delicious and very fresh tasting, and the drink was also fantastic. I'm excited to go back sometime soon and try more of their menu!

I had great expectations coming here. I stopped by to grab a bite after an early doctor's appt. The selections looked really good and the prices seemed reasonable. My disappointment came with my choice. I don't know if I picked the wrong thing, but it just didn't taste great. I ordered a vegan zucchini strawberry muffin. I'm not vegan but it looked delicious sitting there on the counter. So I picked one up. Well, to me it was tasteless. It wasn't sweet, which is necessarily a bad thing, but when one has strawberries in their muffin, you would think it would be sweeter. I just felt like it had zero taste. I was really disappointed and ended up stopping somewhere else to grab breakfast. I do want to come back and try the other selections, possibly the quiche or a slice of pie in the afternoon. Hopefully I'll be able to change my review!

I don't know how Lulu's did it, but they made scones tasty and moist (they're usually taste like dried-up clods of dirt to me). There were also several other pastries that caught my eye so I'll have to drop by again while getting my morning commute caffeine fix.

  • Anna O.

"That other place, not home" - steal Starbucks business concept and make it better and cozier, with better coffee and food. Kids love the wide selection of boutique sodas. Mom goes for home-made scones. Dad loves the coffee. Vegetarian and gluten-free options in quiches are satisfying even for bread-friendly carnivores.

    (4)
  • Krista R.

Cute. Independent. Affordable. We buy our beans here, and occasionally get espresso and lattes. I've generally felt that Lulu's is a bit understaffed. The staff they do have seem harried and easily flustered. Still, Lulu's is a welcome and local coffee option. Avoid the day old bargain scones: not good.

    (3)
  • Katie U.

Lulu's has wonderful baked goods - my faves are the zucchini nut and the banana nut breads! I discovered my love of quiche here, as well. Bonus: they have a (delish) gluten free crust option! They also make great pies (try the pumpkin or pecan) that are perfect for the holidays! My family isn't really into baking, so we leave the job to the pros and preorder our pies for Thanksgiving and Christmas. They get lots of orders in November/December, so order early to make sure you'll get the pie you want when you want!

Exceptional Italian Cappuccino!!! About as close to a cap in Italy as it comes. Very tasty bagel breakfast sandwich. Nice people, comfy coffee cafe vibe. I'm told the lunch options are tasty. Had a meeting at SV so I drove past a dozen coffee shops to have their Italian Cap. And.... I will do it every time I have a chance!

The only thing I get at Lulu's is the Planet Fitness Protein Shake after a really good workout. The peanut butter banana combo reminds me of a frosty from Wendy's only better. SO good and the people who work there go out of their way to make sure their customers leave happy.

The man and I had an early, and quick breakfast this morning before a long day of shopping. We got two large coffees, two egg sandwiches, and a piece of apple cake to split. Everything was fresh and made to order. I added the fiery feta spread to my spinach and egg white sandwich. It was great. The apple cake was great, too. Very moist. Our breakfast was all under $13.00! We will definitely be making frequent stops.

A fun, little local coffee shop. Coffee is pretty good and their selection of gluten free baked goods is what brings me back. I do think the baked goods (gf and non-gf) are a bit over priced. The employees (?owners?) are friendly - I'll be back!!

I found this coffee shop during a recent visit to Indy. So good !! Very nice little shop, friendly staff. They have a nice variety of coffees, teas and baked goods. I definitely would recommend if your in the area. I went twice in one weekend. Oh, and try the scones. The lemon blueberry was my favorite.

Awesome, awesome, awesome! For work, I needed to order 250 cake bites. I was able to call them and easily set up our custom order. Last minute (less than 24 hours notice), I needed to add 100 additional cake bites and our order was made, no problem! Steve and Greg were delights to work with. I couldn't have asked for better service. As for the cake bites, they were delicious! I loved the lemon and the cookie dough. I can't wait for another event to order some more. I'm dying to try the peanut butter cake bites!

Love. Love. Love. I am always looking for new "hole-in-the-wall" coffee shops that provide fabulous service. I finally found what I have been looking for here...friendly, make-your-day-brighter employees. Just 3 weeks ago I first discovered Lulu's and have been back multiple times since. My favorite espresso at this moment in time is their Iced Carmel Latte. Not only do they provide coffee, but their soup is to die for. I highly recommend this quaint location to everyone!

I now understand the marketing strategy for the placement of Planet Fitness. Lulu's, Sweet Thing, Vanilla Bean Bakery, Kahn's Wine, Athens Mediterranean Grill, Le Peeps, ALL within a few yards of each other. Which one didn't I visit today...the gym! Go figure but it did make me smile watching the number of folks leaving the gym heading for a cupcake or chocolate. Lulu's is great and today an Irish Latte here and then next door for a chocolate covered pretzel to have with my coffee. Wonderful afternoon snack. These folks are super friendly!!

These people know what service is! The food is really not that great but the coffee & tea is awesome!

Best kept secret to grab a bite, meet up for a business thing, or chat with friends. This local spot is family owned by a really sweet young couple. I so prefer supporting local creativity and effort to a chain. Great fresh sandwiches, and a cozy hangout. They are always seeking ways to make it better, and I love that. The move and the new look was a good one. I just wish they hadn't moved further away from me (but they aren't too far - still very convenient).

Wanted something to knosh on before I had to go grocery shopping at Kroger. I highly recommend the Muddy Irishman espresso drink, which is a mocha with irish creme and caramel. I also had a slice of their apple pie, which was delicious, but I had to ask for a knife because it was rather tough use only a fork to get a bite. Like everyone says, the decor is lovely and I really like the old timey sodas that they sell. I bought a variety six pack for $10.

The employees are always so kind! The coffee and food are so tasty. Their wall of soda is awesome! The atmosphere is always relaxing even during the busy hours. I highly recommend this place!
