Tried this cute little bakery one day while on the south side. The woman behind the counter was awesome and super helpful. Her enthusiasm was infectious! There were about 6 different cupcake varieties, in two sizes - regular and mini. I got a couple minis since I could not decide on one flavor. They also had a few other dessert type items and fresh baked bread to purchase. The flavor of the Kupcakes was disappointing to me. In my opinion, The Flying Cupcake has the best cupcakes in Indy. I would say these are in the top five. I enjoyed the cake part more than the frosting. The frosting flavor was just slightly off to me. I can't put my finger on what is different about it but it doesn't taste like good butter cream to me. Pricing was decent too. Give them a try, maybe you will like them better than I did.

Tasty cupcakes and many baked good. Kim uses fresh fruit in her pastries, which makes a differen. I like the cupcakes - she has many daily flavors - although personally I'm a flying cupcake kinda gal. The pretzel roll I'd good - excellent to buy and use for sandwiches later. This is a nice spot if you life in south Indy or Greenwood and are heading downtown - get some coffee and cupcakes for the office!

This review is based solely on their customer service. I forgot to get anything in the mail for my best friend's birthday who lives in Indy (I live in Texas). I called Kim's because they were in close proximity to her office. I believe the young lady helping me was Ashley. I told her my situation, she called me back to confirm they could do a next day delivery and handled the rest. My girlfriend loved the surprise and I looked great for remembering! Thanks Ashley! Oh, and at 36 dollars for a dozen cupcakes & delievery, you really can't go wrong.

Can't get through dinner fast enough to try this cake!!! I did have Mini red velvet while I was waiting for them to write on top of a great looking cake that was walk in ready :-) made it very convenient! Staff was all great. There were a few tables~but I was on the run to meet the family. Large gluten FREE menu....grabbed a cupcake for one on my kidos friends :-) ****dropped down to 3from 5...got said cake to dinner~was told it was stored in fridge as it had whipped icing. It was in my possession about 2.5 hours~NOT in a fridge...but when trying to cut it, the cake was FROZEN. REALLY wish they had told me it'd be frozen~chances are I would not have bought a cake to be eaten soon after that was frozen. It was around $35 for the cake and the mini cupcake...I mentioned on the phone and in store that it was for after dinner :-(

Not only was the cake I ordered for a baby shower beautifully decorated and reasonably priced (and on a short time frame) but it turned out to be one of the best cakes I've ever tasted. Indulgent, REAL butter cream frosting and moist, sweet almond cake. It was perfect, and the mom-to-be loved it. I will definitely return to Kim's in the future.

Go get some cake! Or brownies! Or cookies! This is what goes on inside my head every time I get near this place. They have a great variety of specialty treats, and they are all delicious. They also offer lunch, which varies from day to day, but is usually lighter fare such as chicken salad sandwiches, broccoli soup, etc. obviously they make cakes as well. I can't vouch for how good they are, but they look quite impressive. Don't miss this place. It's amazing, especially for those of us with a perpetual sweet tooth.

I like all the variety of sweets they have to choose from. I ended up choosing a peanut butter cookie and a Death By Chocolate cupcake. Both were very tasty. I can't wait to try more of their goodies the next time I visit.

I have been going to Kim's for 3 years'. The food is top notch and always fresh. My kid will go every time he has a chance and gets his rewards there. The eclairs are the best in town, they also offer cupcakes- cookies, and cakes! They will make custom orders, too. They have a short but good sandwich menu and soft drinks. Really friendly folks , visit it a great little hidden gem on the southside.

Kim's is the best bakery in town. Great cupcakes. We recently had them make two cakes for our daughters birthday and they were amazing. They tasted wonderful and looked even better if it was possible. If you have anything that needs done for a special occasion or just trying one of their amazing cupcakes as you drive by Kim's is a place you want to try.

Fantastic custom cake that was beautiful and delicious too! We ordered a custom cake for a party and it was absolutely stunning! I am not easily impressed and this cake was just so much fun. We weren't exactly sure how they would decorate the cake so we were really excited to see that it was beyond expectations. Well done! Cake is almost always good which is why everyone loves it. Well this cake was *so much better* than grocery store cakes! Fluffier, moist, flavorful unlike those found at grocery stores. Also the icing was actually edible...even the fondant was delicious! Their fondant had less of a marshmallow flavor and more of a buttercream frosting flavor. My only complaint is that the buttercream frosting they used was American Buttercream Frosting rather that the more delicate and not-too-sweet Italian or Swiss Buttercream Frosting which is SO MUCH BETTER. I almost rated this bakery 4-stars for this reason, but everything else was soooo good! . PROS: beautiful custom cakes, truly delicious cake, elegant handwriting, totally excellent service, good value CONS: uses American Buttercream Frosting instead of Swiss Buttercream Frosting or Italian Buttercream Frosting

Love this bakery!! We had a tasty lunch and finished with delicious pastries. They had a wide variety of pastries, cupcakes, and cookies ready for purchase. I highly recommend going there for the baked goods.
