There's something that they don't tell you about Yelp when you join. It's an addiction. No, really. It is. For most of my life, I've been a relative creature of habit. I eat the same things. I go to the same places. I eat the same things when I go to the same places. I just do. Everything has changed. Now that I'm a Yelper, I'm much more likely to try something different, travel to a different restaurant, and actively seek out businesses & restaurants that will give me yet another opportunity to write a review. I can't help myself, and like every addiction out there my food budget has increased as I find myself feeling obligated to try new businesses and services around town. Sadly, I don't think they've come up with a detox for Yelping. So, in order to feed my addiction yet again I finally ventured over to this establishment, Four Seasons Family Restaurant, a restaurant that is actually on the list for my church's Sunday afternoon lunch gatherings yet a restaurant that I've never experienced before today. The restaurant has the look and feel of an old school diner, sort of a cross between Lincoln Square and a Waffle House. I was in the mood for an actual "meal" today - not the usual fast food fare that too often frequents my diet. Four Seasons offers an incredibly diverse menu filled with both breakfast, lunch, and dinner items and includes everything from sandwiches to more comprehensive home-style cooking. I ordered a meatloaf dinner that came with mashed potatoes/gravy, a roll, and soup or salad (in my case cole slaw). The meal was $8.49 plus drink, the usual unsweetened iced tea. If you know the neighborhood that Four Seasons is in, you know that it's definitely in a working class area with a bit of a rough reputation. While I've never had problems in the area, I'm well aware that within a mile you've got a hotel known to play host to sex offender registrants, a motel where a human trafficking case was busted, and several other issues within the immediate vicinity. That said, I'm perfectly comfortable in the area and am neither a sex offender nor a human trafficker. So, there's that. My server, whose name I've sadly forgotten, was a blast. She was warm, friendly, and unashamedly tattooed. I'm guessing in this particular neighborhood it probably helps to look like you could go seriously whup*** on someone if they try to mess with you. I got the sense she could, yet she was friendly, efficient, awesome, and gave me my required iced tea refill. The food? It says a lot about the quality of a place when food is served in a way that you don't particularly care for and you still kind of fall in love with the place. While I'm a meatloaf fan, I'm not a fan of meatloaf or mashed potatoes smothered in gravy. This was SMOTHERED in gravy. While I don't think I'd order it again, it was still good and the meatloaf, in particular, was incredibly tasty. The coleslaw was good, but those who prefer a creamier type wouldn't like it. The roll? I was really impressed that I was served a roll that had been slightly heated up - it was a simple touch that made a big difference. I will say that the physical situation in Four Seasons isn't very wheelchair friendly. If you don't get into one of the first 3-4 tables, you may struggle as the aisles definitely aren't wide enough for a decent sized wheelchair. They do have two accessible parking spots outside, though they don't have the metal signs (so it's not enforceable in Indiana) and they aren't up to ADA. They do have a nice curb cut. Four Seasons was enjoyable enough that I found myself wondering what had taken me so long to try the place. I enjoyed the food, loved the atmosphere, and found the service to be perfectly suited to my own friendly but not overly precious personality. The customers, who were remarkably diverse, were also incredibly friendly. With my Yelp addiction having been fully satisfied, I left Four Seasons feeling like I'd gotten my next fun review and a brand new Eastside hangout.

So, I stay at a hotel in the area each week for 4 nights. The neighborhood leaves much to be desired. Besides the hotel restaurant, there is fast food, a Texas Roadhouse and Red Lobster. I saw that the Four Seasons gets 4.5 stars. Even though, when pulling in the place looks like a traditional diner, my expectations were very high. Overall, the service was great, fast and very attentive. The food was okay...the menu is quite extensive with just about anything that you could want and the prices are reasonable. No complaints really, but not sure I could every give it a 4.5.

We were so pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. Very friendly staff. Crowd was seniors, but we ate early. I had the Friday all you can eat cod special, which was the best I have ever eaten. Great light and crispy batter. The coleslaw was homemade and excellent, and i am not a huge coleslaw fan. My husband got the meatloaf which was above par, though the gravy was average (bland). Mashed potatoes were real. Ice tea was fresh and refilled often. Clam chowder was homemade and amazing. Reasonable prices. Would like to go back and check out breakfast, but we w were just passing through town (stopped based on reviews). A definite winner.

Food was fast! Good, quality diner food. The service was great and the atmosphere was a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend having an idea of what you want before you go though, because the menu is huuuggeee. That being said, I did enjoy myself, and one of the waitresses (super cute) had us try pickles with whipped cream. Way better than it sounds.

Great service. So great that I hadn't even finished my soup and my meal was here. No complaints as everything tasted fantastic. Worth coming!!!

Who likes watching kids eat pancakes? I do! Forget the fork and dive in with the fingers... Good, standard American breakfast and lunch fare. I'm a sucker for corned beef hash and country fried steak. Didn't choose the hash, but the steak. Definitely a frozen product out of the box, but the gravy lifted it above what it was originally. + Portions are aplenty + Best tasting coffee I've had in the last 6 months - Slow service (sorry) had to wait 10 minutes for a waitress We should mimic the kids and have pancakes, butter and syrup dripping from our hands next time!

For starters I would give 10 stars if possible. We stayed at a hotel a block away and every staff member when we asked where to eat said Four Seasons. So we went for dinner that night. Pulled up outside and wondered if this would be a good choice. The outside wasn't anything exciting with some loose flashing around edge of roof and some neon looked broken. Thank goodness we went inside! We were quickly shown to our seats (6 of us) and remarked how clean the inside looked with a bit of an eighties look. Everything was well maintained. Than our server Chrissy came over to the table. Little did we know she could work in any restaurant in the city. No need to go into each individual meal as we all rated them as excellent. Fresh rolls were good. Everything was prepared fresh like real baked turkey, not deli turkey. Only two things that we would change is real butter for rolls not a spread and real mashed potatoes not instant, although they were good. The special of the night was beef stroganoff and only one of us ordered it, but we all tasted it. Everyone agreed the best we ever tasted anyplace! If I lived near by I would eat here every week and try everything. Ok so the dinner and service were so good we decided to come back Sunday morning when Chrissy was working for breakfast. For the most part don't believe I've ever had a better breakfast at any price. Chrissy as we expected once again hit the ball out of the park from a service stand point. They have a selection of breakfast bowls that are amazing. Fresh fried potatoes with different meat, veggies, and eggs on top. You must order one. Biscuits and gravy 10 stars. You get a choice of breads with breakfast. I would skip the pancakes. They were tough and chewy plus once again spread not real butter although it would have been wasted on them anyway. So seemed like all servers were doing a nice job. If you are someone who spends big money to eat at places that have perfect service just come here and save some money and ask for Chrissy If you want home cooking with for the most part quality ingredients this is your place. My next trip to Indy I'll make the drive to eat here even if I stay in the city like normal. I'm hoping by than they have real butter and mashed potatoes!! Thanks for exceeding our expectations and being so much more than a normal diner!!!!!

I'm from Jersey - The Diner State- This place would fair well in my home state. Typical diner fair offered on a 20 page menu...LOL!! Food came of quickly and the pancakes were the size of the plate........Huge portions with bottomless coffee.

They make their lentil soup from scratch and it's delish. Their cinnamon rolls alone are worth the trip. Just a couple reasons I like to stop here when I'm in town.

My parents love this place. And we eat here fairly regularly. Their menu has something for everyone -- it is huge. The prices are great, and I definitely recommend it.

Stopped by a few weeks ago and after 18 years the Four Seasons has updated their menus. Probably needed an update along with some added options. All the same excellent staff but be sure to checkout the new menus. 18 years with same menu that has to be a restaurant business record.

I have this strange habit, of evaluating restaurants new to me based on their ability to make a good club house sandwich. So in search of said sandwich, Yelp directed me to Four Seasons. Here I found a father and son bonding over biscuits & gravy and pancakes, watched old couples shoot the breeze over iced tea, and was called "honey" by the server in the crisp white shirt. I came here expecting American, and I found American. And the club sandwich was exactly as it should have been.

Good food, super fast arrival. Nothing really stood out and it cost about $31. It was pretty good, but I would check out a different restaurant if in the same area.

Very very good experience. Stopped because of reviews. My wife son and I ate for 16 bucks. The quality for the price may be the best I've experienced in recent years. I got the 3d house club and my wife got the 3d BLT. Both came with large portion of steak fries. Even. The pickles on the side seemed homemade. Also came with generous bowl, not cup, of soup. I had lentil and wife had potato. Obviously homemade. Brought out with basket of house rolls. I was expecting thin sliced deli turkey on my sandwich. In stead it was thick sliced oven roasted breast meat, right off the turkey. Bacon was also top notch. I asked for some horseradish and it was the real deal. Fresh like my friends dad use to grow himself and make. There were some awesome looking deserts in the display case but we had eaten enough so couldn't try. The menus was huge with large variety from chicken and waffles t burgers and shakes. We will be stopping off here again next time we pass through town. Again , we walked away and couldn't believe the bill was only 16 bucks for the meal we jut had. Gave it four stars because the service was just a little slow. If we had been in a hurry it might have mattered more but we weren't. The people that came in after us got their food pretty quick so no big deal.

I freakin love this place! No matter what time of day you come to eat, the food is always tasty, the waitresses are super friendly and the staff in general is extremely pleasant. I also like that they enjoyed My Count in full vampire get-up at dinner on Saturday night. I wish that I could pack up this place and bring it home to Chicago!

Quite possibly the best breakfast joint in all of Indy. In fact, can't say I've had any other meal there! Biscuits and gravy or egg skillets are quite delicious. It's busy, but the service is exceptional!

Been here plenty of times. Good food, & great for hangover eating...what? ;) I'm always quickly greeted, & seated upon arrival. The staff is kind, & the food is good. My favorite thing to get is the omelet w/ the meats & vegetables. Its an actual omelet & not a folded over egg w/ the fixings on the inside. They also give you heaping amounts of food, & honestly it's not to expensive.

Four seasons is a place my family and I want to go to eat and spend time with each other. When we want to have a quiet place, good food and a place to have great conversations; here is your place. The variety of food of traditional food, Greek and other styles of food is wonderful. Sometimes the food can be a little bland but most of the time food is good. When family from out of time comes around, we always come to Four Seasons to have time with our family. For coffee lovers their coffee is really good! Great place to eat!

This was my first visit to this restaurant. I had heard good things about this restaurant from other people and I was very happy to learn those recommendations were accurate. I ate here on a Sunday morning and the restaurant was very busy. Despite the full house, seating was quick. I ordered biscuits and gravy with bacon and a side of hash browns. My drinks (o.j. and water) were brought to the table and refills of water were quickly available without my having to ask for them which is always a plus in my opinion. Nothing is more frustrating than needing a drink and not being to find the waitress. The breakfast was delivered and was hot and very good. The gravy was done very well and wasn't too thick or thin. I'm so glad it wasn't watery. The hash browns were good, but could have been cooked a little longer. The bacon was also tasty. All in all, it was a very good breakfast along with good service. I'll be a repeat customer here.

Okay, so.. Usually I'm the open minded type of person and like to try different things at a restaurant.. Especially if I've ate there countless of times.. But.. I can't, I just can't with Four Seasons. I always get the same thing and it always amazes me.. EVERY SINGLE TIME I GET IT. Their Gyro and Feta Omelette is.. Like the best omelette I've ever had. Huge chucks of flavorful gyro meat and feta with just a spalsh of choula hot sauce is like taste-bud heaven in one's mouth. It's huge, and fluffy and it comes with tziki sauce and I want to head there now and devour one Huge portions also, they aren't skimpy and their prices are very resonable. Their service gets an A. Every waitress we've had is a doll. Never an empty glass or wait.

Hubby and I went here for breakfast to get a fat stack of pancakes (the love of my life). I ordered a stack of blueberry cakes which comes with whipped cream. 1) Our waitress was amazing! My husband was super thirsty and drank (no joking) about six glasses of soda. Our waitress just kept then coming and was joking with the spouse about having to use the facilities before he left. She was super nice and efficient! A+ for the wait staff! 2) The cakes came out steaming hot and the wait wasn't long. They weren't the best tasting though. Very salty and not fluffy at all. I had to use the knife to cut them up. They had that hard crust from a too oily griddle, plus a renegade onion made it in there. Ick! I would not recommend pancakes here at all. 3) Very clean place and we were seated crazy fast. Nice ambiance, easy to find location off of Shadeland and I-70. I'd try again, but would forego the pancakes.

Great service, good simple breakfast. Coffee constantly filled, price decent, "fried biscuit" with apple butter is a must have- kinda like the binet from cafe du monde in New Orleans. As for pancakes, I prefer the texture of Cracker Barrel. They bring you margarine (!) with pancakes (minus half star) and don't have real maple syrup (minus half star).
