Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Wanted to try a new fast food Mexican place. Service was friendly and quick. Clean restaurant but food was just ok. The variety of items to choose from for your burrito does not compare to Moe's. Who ever heard of having to pay for a bag of chips to eat with my burrito? Not sure going back is in the near or far future.

Terrible. Brand new store. Out of veggies. Out of guac. Out of tea. Tiny portions. Surly staff. Really?! I brought family here because i love the store on Columbus. Now I'll never get them to come back.

The quantity they serve is underwhelming. The owner should take the staff on a field trip to the Avon or Indy location to show them how its done.

No. I have been a long time Chipotle customer in Indy and elsewhere and I was excited that the South Side of Indy was finally getting one. Wow what a disappointment. Was it the half scoop of chicken I received the under cooked brown rice or the flavorless toppings? This was during lunch time on 3/13/15 so I expected better. Also the staff, while enthusiastic, had trouble with distributing portion sizes. When one ask for cheese, I'd like more than one ounce. I've never been disappointed in my Chipolte order before. I think I will pass on this one and keep going to the ones on the North side.

I was so stoked for a Chipotle to open on this side of town. It's not my favorite "fast food mexican" (that would be Moe's) but it's good every once in awhile for some variety. This location is so inconsistent! I've been here around 4 times and every time the portions are different. Once my burrito was so stuffed they had to double wrap it, the next I had literally 2 tablespoons of rice and 99% salsa. You also can never know if the meat you want will be available. Don't even bother with a side of chips because the bag is never more than 1/4 full. Lame.

Let me start by saying i LOVE Chipotle. However, I have to agree with some of these other reviews. I went twice in as many weeks. One time I got steak and the other time I got chicken. Both times they were a combination of undercooked and overcooked. This was certainly not my best chipotle experience and it certainly will not detour me from going to Chipotle, just not this location. Sorry folks.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and was sure to make sure I was happy and taken care of as a customer after a worker accidentally bumped into me and knocked over the drink on my food tray. And as with all chipotle's I have ever been to the food was great.

I was not expecting much when I made an online order to pick up at this Chipotle, based upon previous reviewers' experiences. However, I don't have anything negative to say about my experience. I placed an online order using the Chipotle app, which was very easy and user friendly. After logging in, it remembered my previous orders. My order would be ready for pickup for lunch on a Sunday in 20 minutes. I got there about 10 minutes early, but the cashier took a moment to get me my drink cup while I waited the last few minutes - my order was accurate and ready right when promised. They were not very busy, though. It was 2:00 in the afternoon and maybe 12 people were eating. We both ordered chicken burritos, and the ingredients were hot and fresh. The employees were professional and attentive. There were three people working and the meats were all fully stocked for everyone's orders. The interior of the restaurant was clean.

If you like uncooked chicken then this is your place. They are currently not serving the standard chicken like Chipotle is know for because of a apparent shortage. Walked in to this location last Friday early afternoon when there was no line. The food line was missing chicken and steak, the grill was full of both. When the guy on the grill noticed a line begin to form he decided to speed it up and pull some chicken off the grill. He then began cutting it up while a line worker took a cup of the chicken he was cutting and placed it into my bowl. I could tell from that point that the chicken was not thoroughly cooked. Sat down, took one bite and spit it out immediately. When showing the apprentice my burrito bowl with uncooked chicken she expressed that they were frustrated that they do not have the normal chicken. Unfortunately that was a poor excuse for serving me uncooked chicken. She gave us our money back and we went and had Moe's Southwest.

Thought since this is a chain it would be like other locations we've eaten at. Nope. Not even close. Stale chips, guac was tasteless, chicken tasted burnt and the place was filthy! There were three empty tables, covered in food that customers were cleaning themselves so they could sit and eat.We came in around 2:30pm on a Tues and it was obvious the floor had not been swept since they opened that morning. It was covered in food and mud from workers boots.....and I'm not knocking the muddy boots people. I'm knocking the terrible management staff that clearly has no understanding of the importance of a restaurant's appearance, quality of food and proper cooking techniques. Won't be back.

I don't have much to go off of. The service was slow and they were out of steak...so we left. Bye. Hopefully they get their act together soon and I can adjust this from "terrible" to "not terrible".

SERIOUSLY ALWAYS OUT OF EVERYTHING! IT IS NOT OKAY! How can you be out of chicken, veggies and cheese?! And one time they weren't planning on making more. This isn't a one time experience. That has happened multiple times (at least 6 times).
