Delicious. Delicious. Delicious. This place is the best for breakfast lunch or dinner. Had breakfast and their blueberry hit cakes were amazing. I'm not one to normally bring them home but these I did. My hunny had this amazing lot roast sandwich and cheddar broccoli soup. We will definitely be back again and again.

Bob Evans evokes feelings of comfort, stability, safety... ahh everything about my childhood comes rushing back due to our weekly Sunday morning breakfasts after church for the first 18 years of my life. When I visited Bob Evans last Saturday for breakfast, I was one happy camper. First thing that was great: The waitress left an entire carafe of coffee on our table so we didn't have to wait for someone to come around and refill our mugs. That's the best. Split a farm fresh omelette as well as sausage biscuits and gravy. YUM. Their biscuits and gravy are so good. Also, really like their home fries and hash browns. So good. I think this location was recently remodeled. Definitely didn't look like any Bob Evans I'd been in in recent times. Overall, a quality, stick-to-your-ribs kind of place.

I wanted to share that we just had a great meal at Bob Evans. our server was absolutely a gem. She had a wonderful personality and was on top of things the entire meal. Bob Evans has some nice new items on the menu and the prices are comparable with other restaurants in the area but has more of a homemade quality.

Just reviewing the online ordering process. My husband loved it, it was quick and easy :) Order was correct and waiting when he arrived. No waiting and back home to eat a hot meal. Love it!

I love Bob Evans sausage, so it seems obvious that I would like Bob Evans Restaurant, no? Well... wait, that's a yes, right? (Stupid French speech nuances!) Anyway, Bob Evans serves up a solid meal that's quite tasty, and I have no idea why anyone would go to the likes of Denny's if there's ever a Bob Evans nearby. I might even consider it better than IHOP... definitely in the upper echelons of diners. I got some sort of meatlovers omelet for breakfast with sausage and ham, and it was great. Coffee was very decent. The server was a sweetheart as well.. .could have been that Hoosier hospitality.

I've been in a bit of a 3-star groove with Indianapolis residents lately and I was starting to expect my stop at the Bob Evans Restaurant on Pendleton Pike to be hanging around right in the 2-3 star range during my visit earlier today. I've often thought about stopping at this location as it's in a neighborhood that I frequent and it serves up the kind of down home cooking that is definitely rare in my life. However, I've always found the food just a bit over-priced and on the bland side and I can always seem to find something else I want. Today, however, I wanted a reasonably healthy meal and a meal that wouldn't prove to be too challenging on some recently completed dental work. I pulled up and instantly noted that for a restaurant that seems to target an older population it seemed strange that they only had four accessible parking spots. I had to drive around once, but was able to get one fairly quickly and went inside. The inside was just a tad confusing as they had a counter where you pay and a counter where you see the host/hostess for seating. I went to the wrong counter and quickly saw a party seated before me. While that was a touch irritating, I'd gone to the wrong counter and couldn't much blame the staff. That said, it was a few more minutes before another staff (I'm guessing manager or shift manager) came up and seated me. Since they weren't half full and I was alone, I thought the wait was a bit much. However, they made up for it by giving me a nice and roomy table as opposed to the usual two-top. I got to my table and waited. And waited. And waited. There seemed to be a looseness to service as I noticed I wasn't alone in the waiting department and I wasn't the only one talking about it. I was already looking at the 2-3 star rating and I hadn't even ordered yet. Then, everything changed. A server, Kenisha, came up and asked if my ordered been taken. I said "No" and she said "I saw you looking around and thought I would ask." Then, she stated that she was going to go ahead and serve me. From then on, everything was exemplary. I ordered a Meatloaf and Gravy dinner for $7.99 that included one slice of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, rolls, and it came with green beans but I replaced those with cole slaw. I ordered a $2.29 iced tea and ended up ordering a chocolate chunk cookie that was $1.00. The entire bill ran just over $12.00 and was terrific across the board. While a Bob Evans meal does tend to be on the non-adventurous side, I think just about anyone headed to Bob Evans is looking for down-home cooking and they certainly delivered here. The meatloaf was terrific with a moist and meaty consistency and good flavor but definitely not on the spicy end of meatloaf. While I was disappointed that the mashed potatoes had gravy, that was on me because I'd forgotten to order them without. They were good, but definitely my least favorite part of the meal. The rolls were delicious and the cole slaw was fresh and tasty with more focus on the flavor than the creaminess. The chocolate chunk cookie was definitely more chewy, but that was perfect for me. Kenisha was an absolutely perfect server. She was attentive without being intrusive and wore a constant smile. I'm not often one who likes to see my server a lot, but Kenisha's bright and sunny disposition made you look forward to her stops. She offered me an iced tea to go, always a good move in my world, and seemed genuine when asking if I was alright. So, a visit that started off on the low end of the rating scale got saved by a proactive server with terrific customer service skills and a quality meal that hit the spot at a fair price. I'll definitely be back (assuming, of course, I can get an accessible spot!).
