Arni's was essentially known as a west side classic. They've winced opened a location Northside of Indy. Service was pretty good, carryout is always perfect. My picks: Get the Arni's junior salad and garlic bread. Consistently yummy! Homemade dressings make for excellent salad dipping. Pizza's are versatile and have awesome thin crust. Try the wings too!

Good thin crust pizza. We always get a half and half. One side the Maui Zowie. Ham, onions, pineapple, & BBQ sauce an the other side Meatball. The Jr. Salad is a great starter and it comes with garlic bread. Be sure to check in with Yelp to get a 14in pie for $10. Belly up to the bar and get a Big Arnis brew.

Thanks to my fellow Yelpers for recommending this hidden gem off of 96th St.. I'm a sucker for pizza- to the point that I probably need to go into rehab for my food addiction. In all serious though, I was impressed by the experience at Arni's. We were greeted by the hostess and seated in a large booth that could hold five or six easily. There's something about a booth I like. Maybe because it feel like you're separated from the rest of the diners. I don't know, but this along with the contemporary casual atmosphere was good. Our server Nancy was excellent. She was informative, timely, and an asset to the restaurant. In fact, I would ask for her again the next time I'm there. We started off with the spinach nachos. They were loaded with cheese, spinach dip, tomatoes, mushrooms, and onions. Not bad at all for a starter. Then the pizza and salads came. A thin crust topped with mushrooms, marinated chicken, and red peppers on top of a good amount of mozzarella. Loved it. Chewy, not too crispy, and at $10 off with a Yelp check-in you can't go wrong. We walked out of there with leftovers for later. Expansive menu with lots of homemade choices make this establishment a new favorite. Don't forget to check-in to get the deal. They love Yelpers! In fact, there's a TV ad that plays in the dining room encouraging people to check-in. That's one smart business!

Vwry good pizza here. Sauce is sweet with a little spice. Comes out lightning quick. Service at the bar is fast and friendly. Had a beer in hand within a minute of sitting down. Only complaint is I wish the pizza was either a little cheaper or a little bigger. 7" pizza for $7. Decor is .othing to write home about. Sterile, but spotless. There's an outdoor seating area, but who really wants to sit facing a parking lot and 96th street? The operation here is super slick and efficient which can be.good or bad depending on your point of view. They get.you in and out quickly which makes it feel kind of like an airport restaurant. It lacks character and you come away with the feeling that you could be in any city in the US. It's definitely not the place.you would take out-of-town visitors to for a one-of-a-kind experience, but that's OK. Locals will appreciate the food and speedy service. .

Arni's is just one of those places where the food is always good and the service isn't all that bad either. Great place to bring the kids. I had a casual work meeting here the other day and ordered the Arni's Burger. Pretty messy, but delish! Pizza, pasta, salads - they have everything and I've never been disappointed. The atmosphere and the conversation I have with friends and co-workers are always the highlight of my visits here!

Ordered a medium Maui zowie. It literally had no crust at all. It was just cheese and other toppings. Super greasy. I wish I would have ordered anything else. Don't get pizza. In other words go to chipotle or 96th street steak burgers across the street. The table next to ours also had the same complaint. We were going to say something to but felt so bad for the server who had the entire outdoor patio and bar area.

It took a little bit of driving around to finally decide on a dinner spot this evening. I considered the new Bubba's, but was irritated that all of their accessible parking spots were taken. I drove by Stacked Pickle, but just wasn't in the mood for a sports bar atmosphere. Then, I spotted Arni's. This Arni's is one of nearly 20 Arni's Restaurants in Indiana after having started in Lafayette, Indiana in 1965. This particular location actually relocated from 86th & Michigan a few years back, but truth be told this is the first time I've actually been to this location. Arni's is mostly known for its pizza and has some fame for its burgers. They continue to be a family owned chain, now owned by two sons of the original owner. I was a big fan of the Arni's at 86th & Michigan Road, though I've had some mixed results at other Arni's locations around the state. I've never had what I'd consider to be a "bad" experience, but there's no question that some locations are simply better than others. Things started off great here. As I was wheeling up to the door, an employee entering the building noticed me and intentionally waited upon my arrival. It was basic customer service, but it was much appreciated. As I was arriving in the early dinner hour on a Friday night, I figured things would be busy and they definitely were. I was impressed by the hostess who had planned to take me to one table, but she quickly realized it could be a bad situation for the wheelchair. She changed course and got me into an appropriate 4-top table that left me free to come and go as I might need. The restaurant is a tad on the smallish side and definitely packs in the tables. My server was Eric. He was quick to take my drink order, the usual unsweetened iced tea. I was ready to order by the time he came back and went with a breaded tenderloin sandwich that comes with one side. I chose fries. The meal was $9.99 plus drink. I have to be honest and say that I was fully expecting this Arni's to be a solid four-star restaurant. Quite simply, it wasn't. Arni's never went above a 3-star experience and very nearly dipped down to a two. The breaded tenderloin was incredibly disappointing, easily the worst part of the experience. It tasted like a frozen patty and had no distinct flavor at all, though it was of decent size and the meat itself was of a decent thickness. After one bite, I was feeling like I'd picked badly. The flavoring was inconsistent throughout the sandwich, and the bun itself was quite average. The fries were fairly typical fries - not quite shoestring, but of a thinner variety with a light seasoning. It wasn't a bad meal, but it wasn't a good meal. I definitely won't order it again. The service? Eric was generally attentive, though he lost points for never offering a drink refill (which we know is a major faux pas in my world) and generally the service was right along the 3-star range. It wasn't bad, but it didn't make me want to rush back either. I did stick around a few extra minutes to finish reading, which gave the perfect opportunity for a drink refill. I also waited a few minutes for the check, though it wasn't unreasonable. The atmosphere is casual, the restaurant was rather loud but manageable, and the restaurant is definitely family friendly. I could easily fall within the 2-3 star range here. While I'm tempted to go with two, the simple truth is that I was impressed with the initial experience, the hostess, and the food was decent. Eric was friendly and I definitely wouldn't consider his service below average, so a 3-star rating feels exactly right. If I return, which would likely be a while given there are other restaurants in the area I'm anxious to try, I'd definitely try a different meal and maybe go at an off-time to see how service is when it's a tad slower.

I've eaten at Arni's for over 20 years when I visit Indy, starting with the location on 86th Street which I heard is closed. I walked into this location, and I was impressed. The atmosphere is almost a dress-up or dress-down kind of place. Other diners ranged from couples eating quiet suppers to the side and a large table of little leaguers celebrating a win...or a loss. Couldn't tell, 'cause everyone seemed happy they were at...Arni's. We started with a chicken quesadilla appetizer--six slices served piping hot with cool salsa and sour cream. It was a nice start. Next up was a 14" deluxe pizza--the dough was great, and the ingredients fresh and tasty; even though they were baked, the onion and green pepper were still crispy. The pebbly sausage smothering the whole pie was different, but this ensured beef was spread out evenly over the top. Thank you Arni's and Yelp for the great $10 check-in pizza deal.

This Arni's location is close to my office. I like going here for a quick lunch. Lots of seating and a huge menu to choose from. This is the perfect place for those folks that prefer salad or pasta over pizza. I love that they offer white and pesto pizza sauces as I am not a big fan of tomato bases. Today I had the pesto chicken. They didn't skimp on the artichoke, pepper or mushroom toppings on my 7"! My normal pizza is the Thai... I love the fresh ingredients. My only complaint today is that the server switched our cards during checkout and they had to be voided an ran again... so not the quickest lunch ever. It happens. I will say that for some reason this spot is very popular with mom/nannies with lots of kiddos. So if you want a really quiet lunch spot this may not be it.

In my opinion the best pizza in Indy. I drive quite a while to dine here. Delicious and great service.

I'm a little torn on how to review Arni's. I like it. I like it quite a bit. Yet, I'm not sure anything is outstanding enough to push it above a 3 star rating. The decor is nice, but doesn't wow me. Same with the food. It's good. I like it. It's a good, solid, meal for a reasonable price. But it's not fantastic. Service has seemed to be a bit hit or miss at times. It's one of those places I'm happy to dine at if I'm in the area, but wouldn't travel a great distance for it.

We stopped by Arni's after church. After much complaining by the kids on the way there, it ended up being a hit with the whole family. Delicious pizza!!!!!! My wife loved the salad dressing. Fast friendly service!

Arni's is a local institution! They are active in the community, and their veggie pizza is great.

The best pizza and junior salad. I also recommend the pork tenderloin sandwich with onion rings!

I researched Arni's before but my friend wanted to celebrate her birthday there. So I treated her to the difference of the cost of the "free" 7" pizza (because of her birthday gift certificate) and the next size up pizza. There was a recent fire at their factory, and they still had not produced 7" size pizza crust before her certificate expired. She and I felt that she should have just been awarded the next size pizza at no added cost. I ate the Cajun chicken sandwich with onion strings in it. The waitress was afraid to substitute my mayo for mustard because it may be an extra cost. This should have been the red flag to not trust her advice on my side item. She recommended the seasoned (not salted) fries instead of the seasoned fruit of melons. I don't know what she meant by seasoned because it sure did look salted to me. Because the sandwich had so much stuff on it, I had to taste the chicken itself to discover that it was Cajun seasoned. I don't foresee returning. If I did, I don't know what else I would try. My friend said their pizza taste like Pizza King but I love Pizza Hut.

You get a $10 off pizza deal when you check in here on your Yelp account. I wanted to try the stuffed mushrooms with maranara. They are a good size with a good filling. Beer was barely cold. Pizza was good. Nothing to make me say I have to come back again. Service was great.

Another good meal of salad and pizza. Their sauce had a slightly different taste than I recalled, more tomato paste taste??? Service was not great this visit, had to go to bar for a refill on water, our server did not check in after pizza was dropped and did not ask if we wanted dessert.

We just moved here from NYC and Arni's is literally 2 minutes from our gated community. So far we've ordered the Chicken Parm dinner and the thin crust pizza. Both times the food was amazing. Coming from NYC I know a thing or two about good pizza but the pizza at Arni's is just as good as some of the best pizza I've had in Brooklyn. I definitely recommend trying this restaurant if you live nearby or are visiting the area.

Nice ambiance but not going to get my repeat business. I hear the pizza is good but opted for penne Mediterranean because I was in mood for pasta It was clearly over seasoned and the chicken salad my girlfriend had was sent with blue cheese dressing instead of ranch. They kept sending out blue cheese dressing and we finally left irritated with a sample of dressing. Several family members agreed it was blue cheese. True Italian food is light and zesty and service is friendly. I love little Italy in NYC, Cleveland, and Ferruci's of Florida but Arni's will never see my family again!

Unassuming on the outside, the warmth and great food is on the inside! I usually pass strip mall places by, but I'm glad I stopped in for lunch. Had the strawberry spinach salad with grilled chicken and it was delicious! Service was fast and friendly too! Wish I lived nearby because I think I'd become a regular here!

Arnis was my favorite pizza place to eat. I started eating it in 1996. It tastes just like the pizza King pizza I grew up with. Their crust supplier had a fire a few months ago and the new crust sucked. But the old crust is back and something else has happened to their pizza. We had pizza and a strom on February 14th and the pizza had a different taste I asked the server and the manager if they had changed their sauce or if they change their pepperoni and they said they had not. The origional crust was now back but there was still something off about the pizza . It was very disappointing. We ended up taking home three quarters of a pizza and throwing it away. We weren't offered any sort of a discount or any sort of compensation for the not so great pizza. I guess i will start looking for a new favorite pizza. A few years ago i emailed about their food handling and allergies. The answer i got back was less then apologetic. So i know bringing my concerns or questions to anyone wss going to be pointless.

Arni's pizza is an Indiana legend & now (for a $3 up charge) you can get gluten free crust! On this trip I stuck with my usual, the Mediterranean Salad, but I will definitely give it a go on a future visit. The service is usually pretty good. Our waitress tonight was a little more chatty than I prefer, but that's just me.

Unique crushed pepperoni and sausage get great coverage over the entire pizza. They also have a huge selection of subs and sandwiches, the gutbuster is my personal favorite. My wife and I always split and arnis jr salad it's just enough for both of us as an appetizer.

Haven't eaten at Arni's in a few months and can't say I'm in a hurry to go back any time soon. The hostesses are a bit cocky and our waitress was MIA for most of the meal. I don't blame them though, the management there needs to learn how to book the proper amount of employees to handle the dinner crowd. I said something to the manager about never getting refills and do I get an "I'm sorry, we'll try better next time"? No, I get a smart remark about their doing the best they can like its my responsibility to pull my weight during their tough times. Bad bad experience.

Had dinner here last week, and the experience was less than stellar. The first problem was with the service. We were seated, only to wait for over 10 minutes for a server to acknowledge us. To make matters worse the server had a handful of dirty dishes. Things only went downhill from here. The pizza was bland, crust doughy and chewy, and the server was fairly rude and disinterested throughout the meal. I'm sorry Arni's, but I'm not sure I'll ever be back.

Excellent food and excellent atmosphere. This is the Arni's pizza that I grew up with 100%. Restaurant is very nicely decorated in modernish decor. Overall great place to eat in or carry out

So it was late, around 9 pm but still an hour before closing. All the staff were hanging around rolling napkins and filling salt shakers, yelling across the dining room at each other. I get it, you're tired after a long shift and want to get things done so you can go home. That doesn't mean you have to ignore the one table you have, leaving us without drink refills, bringing our salads moments before the pizza, and disappearing until it was time to deliver the check. The pizza was completely bland, shocking for something purportedly containing pesto and artichokes. The salad was iceberg lettuce with what tasted like Kraft dressing. Bad food, bad service, no need to go back.

We have been coming to Arni's for dinner now for quite a while and have NEVER had a bad meal! We have tried quite a few things on their menu - from pizza to sandwiches to pastas to gyros to tacos - and EVERYTHING has always been great. Highly recommend!

This had been one of our favorite fun food locations that we frequently visited. Weaver always had excellent service, great food options, and short wait times. Our last experience was horrible, waitress had a horrible attitude so bad we left after the water was served and complained to management! Unfortunate for them for they've lost excellent customers who believe in rewarding servers for superb service!

Let me start by saying that the interior is nicely decorated and that is where the compliments stop. We stopped here on a whim to try something new. Myself and two others. I ordered the tenderloin and sweet potato fries. The fries were bland Ore Ida, tossed out the bag from Walmart kind of fries. Tenderloin was nothing special. My kid ordered fish and chips. The fish was over fried in obviously VERY OLD OIL, and one would have been better off getting Mrs Paul's fish sticks from again, Walmart!! The individual pizza was "OK". Total bill $47. I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Go to Walmart and get the same stuff cheaper!!

MAINTAINING A FAMILY TRADITION Arni's is a regional, family-owned chain trying their hardest to maintain the high standards their founder Arni Cohen started decades ago. Many compare the fare to PIzza King, another family chain known to small towns across Indiana. Arni's offers tasty thin-crust pizza, salads and sandwiches. Arni's family still offers a separate, but full bar at their locations. I'm not sure about the franchisees they've licensed in other locales. Some details like complimentary garlic bread with salads vary depending on location. Those who haven't been to Arni's in a while may find some ingredients a bit skimpier than before the economic downturn, but overall, they're maintaining the great taste and service that Arni required all those years. We're still fans and often find ourselves saying "Meet us at Arni's."

  • Sarah H.

They were very accommodating when we told them we were in a hurry. The Pizza is so very good...I had forgotten how much I liked it. We enjoyed the fact that they use ground pepperoni, and the other toppings were nice and small, too. The large Caesar salad was definitely enough to share.

I've been here a couple times, both after bowling nights. Nice place to get a pizza and beer. Bar area has TVs to watch the game. Pretty quiet on a Thursday night, but very attentive staff. Don't forget to get the fried pickle spears. Good stuff.

I love Arni's. The restaurant is always clean, the employees are always nice and friendly. And so glad they picked this location and moved away from their old 86th & Michigan Road location. The only problem I have at Arni's is which of the 4-5 entrees I have to choose from as they are always so good. One of my all time favorite Arni's menu items is the pizza.

I grew up in Lafayette and frequented the original Arni's restaurant. When I moved to Indy I was very excited to find an Arni's on 96th street. The atmosphere is nice, but with small dining rooms it can get loud when there are lots of families with children. The pizza is good, thin crust with finely chopped and ground toppings, but it's definitely not for those who are expecting a traditional or Chicago style pizza. I have always been a fan of the Arni's Jr. And Sr. Salads as well as the oven baked sandwiches. Main entree portion sizes are quite large, though the sides are skimpy at times. Every time I have gone to the 96th street location it has been busy, and sometimes the service leaves something to be desired, however they are very fast with online ordering and pick up. I love the food, but not always the atmosphere.

I had a ridiculous craving for Arni's, since my roommate from Purdue and I now live in the Indy area. We didn't have time to sit-in and eat because we had our puppy with us. Nevertheless, we had to have something to-go. So we both decided to have the Arni's Sr. Salad w/ Ranch (of course!). We decided against pizza because it would have gotten cold by the time we got home. Anyways, this location is very different from the Lafayette ones. Much more "swanky" and upscale. Maybe that's why the price was so exorbitant. It was a little over $20 for our salads. I guess it was worth it, since it's probably my favorite "meal" salad because everything goes together perfectly. It's nice that that they have a carry-out window that has a separate entrance near the bar. I hope to return in the near future to have a pizza with friends again.

  • Zach Z.

This Arnis is actually pretty nice. I have been to once in Lafayette and it is small and outdated. This one is VERY nice inside but still has pretty darn good pizza. I am from Chicago so I know good pizza, this is not very close to Chicago pizza at all, but it is one of the best places in Indy in my opinion. This place is worth stopping by!

My chili was cold when it was brought to the table. Not a good omen. I had it with a side salad. When it was served hot it was fine, but later that afternoon I just wasn't feeling well and I knew why. "Meh" is a fine description. I'm nopt from Indy, so I won't be back, but even if they had them in LA, I likely wouldn't return.

This was my first time at this location. The last time I was at Arni's was when it was located on W 86th St. This is a very different restaurant with a very different feel. The decor is modern and very nice inside, but has less character than it's previous location. I went on a Wednesday evening and there were kids EVERYWHERE. This must be a favorite for families in the area. A seperate bar area allows for "adult time" for those who came out for a drink and to get away from kids for the evening (as was the case with my friend). The menu had a ton of really yummy looking options. I saw several salads, sandwiches, and pizzas that I would have enjoyed. I settled on a build your own pizza. A 7inch, two topping pizza was only $6.19 (not bad) and it tasted really good. If I lived closer I would probably pick up a pizza to go every once in a while. Beer selection is not great; domestics, blue moon, and sam adams. Food: A Atmosphere: C- Service: B Location: D

The pizza was great! I loved the thin, chewy and crispy crust. The crust to sauce and toppings is perfectly proportionate. I ordered the small BBQ Chicken pizza and I wouldn't share with anyone. Either because it was so good, or that it was the same size as the kid's menu pizza?!?!?! A small or 7" pizza is $7.99 and and kid's menu pizza meal is $3.99 + a side and drink. Therefore, my 3 year old had a larger dinner than my pregnant self. That is a problem in my book. My husband ordered a Santa Fe Wrap. He thought it was "pretty good." He did mention the sauce that came on it was great. I didn't try it but it looked appetizing. The fries were the perfect size and tasted, well, like fries. Nothing too stand out about those. My dessert was THE BOMB! Please order the toffee blondie sundae contraption. The blondie brownie had no nuts and came out really warm and gooey. Ice cream, whipped cream, drizzled choc and caramel, and toffee bits...ohhh yeah!!! We will definitely go back. However, I will absolutely order the medium pizza next time.

Arni's is a weekly ritual. The stromboli is awesome. The raspberry long island is a MUST! The owner, the managers, and the bartenders go above and beyond on a consistent basis. If anyone is annoyed by any particular bartender's or another staff member's talking it's because they treat the customer as friend/family. If you don't care for that kind of service, i'd suggest McDonalds.

If you enjoy pizza & spicy food try the buffalo chicken pizza. Fantastic blend of flavors & spices. The Mediterranean salad is loaded with feta cheese & romaine lettuce, worth the price.

Great pizza like the West side location that I use to go to all the time back when I first moved to Indy. However, I was really disappointed in the lack of attention we got from the staff. I know our group of three was there at 2:30 in the afternoon, but, it just seemed like we were a burden for the server. He may have been having a bad day, so I don't want to be too critical, but everyone in our group noticed the lack of friendly service. I'll try them again for a late lunch or happy hour once the weather breaks and you can sit outside. If you love Pizza King type pizza this is the place to pick up some pizza.

Simply the best Pizza in Indiana or anywhere for that matter. I frequent Arnis at least once a week and every time I get excited as I walk thru the door. I have never had a bad experience in the 100+ times I have been there. It is very affordable and I mean very. The secret of all secrets is to order the Blue Cheese salad dressing and dip your pizza in it, as weird as that sounds, you can thank me later. I do however recommend sitting in the Bar/Lounge area if you do not have kids. It offers tv's and just better overall dining experience. Management gets to know there frequent diners and pays special attention to them (never had to wait more than 5 minutes when the place is packed, servers are college kids who work hard to save some money for next years tuition and other college shenanigans. Oh and did I mention it is extremely affordable. Overall, it just doesn't get any better than Arnis Pizza!

Food is delicious and the service was good. Could really use a better local beer selection though.

Great pizza, good service and a cool atmosphere. Needs a better draft beer selection. More local beers. Overall I would return.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I've been a few times and have had decent service and terrible service. I've had great food (their pizza), and not so impressive food (spinach salad with strawberries) where they forgot my breadstick and it looked like it had been thrown together last minute. The wait time has always been waaay too long, even with reservations. I would probably try this place again but it wouldn't be the first ten choices on my list.

I had the sicilian sub which was good. My wife had a small pizza which was good. Nothing spectacular. Be prepared for a ton of noisy kids. The bar area looked nice, will try and sit there next time.

Are you a fan of Pizza King pizza? I'd have to do some research to figure out if there's any connection. But, if you're looking for a great thin crust pizza, look no further. I grew up in Indiana, where Pizza King at one time was the ONLY place to get pizza and we would go and order from the telephone at the table (love that...how times have changed and now we use iPads!) So when I heard about this little gem of a pizza place and that it was serving this style of pizza I was intrigued! I can't comment on any other foods besides the pizza and breadsticks, but in my mind I'm not going for any other reason! The things I like about this place are the location, the atmosphere, and the service. The pizza is absolutely delicious! The BBQ sauce pizza is a favorite of mine! I've never had an issue with orders or a long wait. The are also on Open Table and you can make reservations that way. This may sound like a review for Pizza King, but it's not. Someone has taken a great idea or recipe (or close to it) and put it into a more contemporary restaurant and bar.

I decided to take my family here as this is something that is unique to Indiana. My family was in town from Ohio. Granted the place was packed and we had a party of 6 people, but it seemed like it took a really long time to get our food at lunch time. The burger was just ok, tasty with bbq sauce, cheese, and fried onion straws, but it seemed like the bun really dominated it. One thing I can say is that I think the waitresses should mention that there are other types of buns available. I really wanted mine on an onion bun, but forgot to ask. Also, my Mom's A1 burger said right on the menu that it is served on an onion bun, and her's didn't come with one either. I don't know if they were out of them, but it would have been nice to know. I hear that they are famous for their pizza. My uncle ordered it, but it didn't look that impressive to me. Overall, just an ok place. Nice decor on the inside, but I doubt I would return.

The "Arni's Famous Junior Salad" makes me smile. BIG. I'm a bit sad that Arni's near my work closed, but they opened a new location near my house. Yay! I'm happy again! Arni's has become quite a tradition in Indiana, with more locations popping up around the state. There are 17 locations, with FIVE in Lafayette alone. (Arni's began in Lafayette in 1965. Not a salad eater? Looking for something else you'll love? Arni's pizza is consistently voted a favorite. Other yummy choices include chicken salad sandwich or the hot ham & cheese. TIP: Heading there for lunch? Get pizza and salad! A great combo!

I often heard their ads on the radio - "Meet You at Arni's", so I thought I would like to give it a try. The place is nice, clean, modern decor, big booth and good for big group certainly. Our waitress was not very enthusiastic in serving us, but we did not care because we were hungry and we just wanted our food!!! We ordered what we normally order from the pizza restaurant. The pizza is thin crust with small pieces of pepperoni (ground?), the sauce tasted good, but I think it was a little too oily for my taste. The calamari and bread stick were good too, but average. The price was reasonable and good for my family budget. This was my first time eating here since we moved to Indy, but I am not very convinced if I want to go back to Arni's. It was an average experience. There are probably other pizzarias that we can try in Indy area.

Plain and simple, I love this place. The pizza is incredible and most of the other menu items are pretty great also. I think they make some awesome salads that are really filling. There are some great lunch specials, too, and they're always quick at lunch time.

Meh is the correct description for Arni's. My family and I have eaten at both the 96th St. and 86th St. locations about a dozen times and left disappointed each time. I don't get the hype. The pizza isn't that great, the salads are always served in warm bowls (I have a thing about lukewarm lettuce.. yuck!), and the service sucks. I'll take my family to Scotty's from now on.

Great meals each time I visit - I wish I could try new things here, but I keep getting the effing delicious buffalo chicken pizza. I can't help it, it's too good.

One of my favorite family dining options. The decor of the new location is top notch, which is nice because the old location was absolutely hideous. The pizza and salads are their staples. Arnis Jr and Sr salads (Jr feeds two easily) are fresh finely cold chopped lettuce, ham, mozzarella - simple, but delicious. The pizza is super thin crust with fresh finely-chopped ingredients. You can't beat the sausage or pepperoni. Its simple but delicious. The sauce is not sweet - a gimmick take out chains use. People either love it or hate it. I love it. I can't stress enough this is not gourmet or upscale -- its just simple, fresh ingredients and hits the spot every time. Service is always excellent. Prices are good.

Arni's is a great place to go for lunch if youre in the mood for pizza, salad, or hot sandwiches. Its on the northside of Indy and does a lot of business during the week for the 9-5 work crowd. Ive been there several times and gotten their pizza lunch special while others ive been with have gotten hot sandwiches. Everything has always been pretty decent, their lunch pizza special is an 8" pizza for like 7 bucks or something like that, not a bad deal at all. Ive had their buffalo chicken pizza as well and its very good. Great place for groups to go for lunch or dinner.

This whole experience just seemed odd. The restaurant decor seemed nice and more of the quality of a nicer establishment, however, the openness of the rooms made it really hard to hear and talk with others at our table. We had the pizza, which was only OK, and I had the Arni's Famous Junior Salad and was equally disappointed. This place just wasn't what I thought it would be. I'll probably not go back.

Great Pizza. We get carry out and they are always very consistent in quality and taste. The deluxe is loaded with finely chopped meats, onions and green pepper. None of them over powering the other. A perfect blend. The crust is thin but not crispy.

Worst Food In Indy, over priced. Pasta and Pizza sauce tastes like ketchup. The sandwhiches are 95% Bread and everything was dry. The salads were cheap and mushy, the appetizers are worse than applebees. The service was even worse, five of our party of 20 sent food back it was so bad. Then they charged us a 20% service fee. I will never go again, ever, you couldn't pay me to eat there. If you don't believe me, see for yourself. Gross

Best cheese fries ever and great pizza! I'm only giving them 4 stars because while I like their pizza it's not my favorite thin crust in the city.

I'm definitely an Arni's fan. From the funky looking, gotta touch'em walls, to the pretzel bun, to the pizza. Yum! the pizza: Chicken Bacon Ranch, all the way. I enjoy taking new people with me, we inevitably have a good time, with good food, typically decent service, at a reasonable cost. Their Pasta Palooza makes me happy and who can ask for more than that?

I was disappointed in their Arni Junior salad today. I lived in Lafayette for 4 years and ate at those Arni locations a lot. In comparison to the Lafayette junior salads, the Indy location is lacking in size and cost more. The garlic bread that comes with it also was not "grilled" like the Lafayette locations, it was basically well cooked frozen garlic bread. The pizza was on par with the other locations. The service was good. I would stop by here again, but would just expect less for more in comparison to the Lafayette locations.

Ate at Arni's in Crawfordsville 6/22/2015 Horrible experience. We got the nachos with chili which is prepared in a microwave. Blah! The a cold Stromboli XXBlah!! The pizza was ok at best. Fresh crust with reheated toppings. I had to insist for a refund for the nachos and they informed me that is just the way that they make it. finally the cold Stromboli, they said they could microwave it for us. Over thirty dollars for food prepared in a microwave. We will never go back. I don't see how they make it with this kind of food preparation. No stars........
